Volunteer Job Description

Job Title/Role:  Cat Biography Writer

Overview:  Toronto Cat Rescue has partnered with several pet stores in the Kitchener-Waterloo area to showcase adoptable cats.  We are looking for someone to write short biographies for each of the cats in our local pet stores to be partnered with photographs for our website.

Goals:  Ensure fun, creative and eye catching biographies are being written for our website to provide the best chance of adoption for each cat.

  • Write fun and creative biographies for the cats within our local pet stores
  • Ensure that the biographies have minimal grammatical and spelling errors
  • Travel to local pet stores (optional) to meet the cats to assist with writing of biographies
  • Commitment of 6 months or longer
