DRUG DREAMS DURING RECOVERY WORKSHEET

Write down everything you remember about the dream:

- Where were you?

- Who was with you?

- What happened during the dream?

- How did you feel during and after the dream?

Circle the emotions you felt during and after the dream, or add the one you feel.

- Is there something in your current life that could have triggered this dream?

- Does the dream reflect any specific fears or desires related to substance use?

- Coping Toolbox

Choose from these list or create a new list of strategies that help you manage the emotions triggered by the dream.

- Deep breathing exercises

- Physical exercise

- Writing in your journal

- Talking to a friend or therapist

- Attending a support group meeting

- Engaging in an activity you enjoy (art, reading, music)

- Draw or Paint

Draw or paint how you felt during and after the dream. Sometimes expressing emotions through art can be very liberating.

Make a list of people you can talk to about your dreams and feelings. Include contacts for emotional emergencies:
