Crowd Tracking – Ashioto
Ashioto is a real-time people counting system that can be used for counting large crowds as such in Kumbh Mela. Our goal is to generate a real- time count of people going in and out of a particular location which. This will be analyzed by the authorities and give them the information needed to take corrective action against overcrowding and stampedes.
The system comprises a specially developed foot-mat that counts footsteps. of a person which is placed at the entry or exit point of a particular location. The foot-mat is designed as such that it can be placed at any location with minimum accessories and fixtures making it portable and replaceable.
