Nenagh AFC Youths had a 5-0 win against Geraldines in the FAI Cup last Sunday in an extremely deceiving score line for the hosts

Geraldines had 65% possession or more with most if not all of the game played in the Nenagh half for the first forty five minutes. Somehow Nenagh led at the break 3-0

Three minutes in to the game a Charleville cross was cleared by Dylan Sheahan and Kieran O Brien went on a brilliant run and then found Kevin Ryan who slotted home emphatically to give the Blues the lead. Nenagh still couldn’t get out of their half but Casey Finn chased down a lost cause and Jake Morris came into possession and was then fouled in the box

Jake dusted himself down and slotted home the resulting spot kick

Charleville continued to press but Nenagh were structured in their defensive approach and again broke on the counter in the twenty fourth minute as Dylan Kennedy scored from close range

The second half saw Nenagh dominate for long parts as Dylan Kennedy controlled the game from the middle of the park and Jake Morris added two more goals

Charleville will feel very hard done by and Nenagh know they will have to dramatically improve on the performance
