I’m learning more about breast cancer right now, and in particular what I’m wondering about is “What are the causes of Breast Cancer?” I was researching this question online, and this wikipedia article caught my attention because it gives me a better understanding about breast cancer and the causes of it.

“Estimates of the relative risk for breast cancer associated with breastfeeding in parous women were obtained after stratification by fine divisions of age, parity, and womens ages when their first child was born, and your menopausal status.”

The quote I chose here is basically saying that all the risk that play a key role in breast cancer are associated with a women’s ages, the fact or condition of having borne children, when their first child was born and their menopausal status all play a role on weather you may get breast cancer or not.

I think this is an interesting topic because this is a very personal and sensitive topic for me because I have people in my life and my own family who have gotten diagnosed with this horrible disease and I just wanted to get a better understanding about breast cancer and I wanted to inform my friends, family and peers about things about breast cancer that they may not have known about.

I’m learning more about breast cancer and in particular what I’m wondering about is What are the causes of breast cancer? I was researching this question online, and this video caught my attention because it explained clearly some causes of breast cancer and how can you live a long healthy functional life.

“The cause of Breast Cancer is related to faulty dietary and lifestyle behaviors. Not having a full term pregnancy by age 30 is 20% of the cause of Breast cancer.”

The quote i chose here is basically saying that some causes of breast cancer are due to poor dietary and bad lifestyle behaviors meaning what you eat can have a bad affect on you and your lifestyle too can have an impact on weather or not you get breast cancer. Also, if you do not have a child by the age of 30 you increase your chances of getting breast cancer by 20%and it has to be a complete 9 months of pregnancy.

I think this is going to be a surprise to many people because it makes me wonder if people actually knew that if you do not have a full term pregnancy by the age of 30 that you can increase your chances of getting breast cancer by 20% and also many people do not know that your age and where you live and your menopausal status all play a key role on weather or  not you can get breast cancer or not.

I’m learning more about breast cancer right now, and in particular what I’m wondering about is “What are the causes of breast cancer?”, I was researching this question online, and this video caught my attention because it stated some cool facts about the relationship between breastfeeding and breast cancer that i didn't know and that many women might not know can help them in the long run.

“ The questions about Breastfeeding and breast cancer has been around for a long time, and if you are around the age of 18 and you breastfeed it can potentially help protect against breast cancer but not 100%. Breast feeding is good for you and particularly for the baby.”

The quote I chose here is basically saying that the relationship between breast cancer and breast feeding have been around for quite awhile and that theirs no known fact that breast feeding can protect 100% from breast cancer but you should still do it because it is infact healthy for you and the baby because the baby gets all the nutrients and and other things the baby wont be able to get from powdered milk and the younger you are and the longer you breast feed it can potentially help protect against breast cancer but just not 100%.

I think this is a very interesting factor because now a days you rarely see women breast feeding because they say it hurts their breast and they feel uncomfortable doing it. It makes me wonder if women knew all these factors if they would take better care of themselves and also breastfeed more often just because it may protect against breast cancer.
