Update1: Effective Monday, March 16th at 5 pm housing court is only open for illegal lockouts, housing code violations and repair orders.
Update2: On May 7, Governor Cuomo extended the moratorium on evictions for residential and commercial tenants, meaning no one can be evicted in New York State until August 20th.

- Your service will not be shut off for non-payment.
- Waiving new late-payment fees.
- Suspending no-access fees if we can’t read your meter.
- No fees for making payments with credit cards or debit cards.
- Suspending fees for refusing smart meter installations
- Most customers can arrange for payment extensions and agreements online through My Account.

Wellness
- New Yorkers will now be eligible to receive a COVID-19 test if they have:
- COVID-19 symptoms, regardless of age, chronic conditions or occupation
- Come in close contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient, regardless of symptoms
- Work in a congregate residential setting (nursing home, shelter, or adult care facility), regardless of symptoms
- Temporary Hotel Rooms for COVID-19 Patients and Family

- si tiene el virus o vive con alguien que lo tiene puede ser elegible para una estadía temporaria gratuita en el hotel. Debe llamar al 1-844-692-4692. Presionar 0. - New York City has set up a free Phone-A-Clinician and Tele-Visits to ensure the hardest hit communities have more options when it comes to health care.

Death Care
- this is open to everyone regardless of immigration status and if you are denied because of that please reach out to the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs
