Dear Friend,

We learned yesterday that it was your 65th birthday and have put a notice about it in our newspaper. Dr Ottó Légrády[1] sent you a greetings telegram; perhaps between the lines you were also able to discern my own congratulations. I am taking the opportunity now to wish you once again all the very best: yet further success and more especially a deepening contentment in your family life.

I enclose with this three pieces from our paper in which we mention your charitable donation.[2]

Your portrait of the Regent [110886] is being taken to Parliament today. It was impossible to do it earlier because the Regent was not in Budapest. But in all events, everything will be done in such a way as will meet with your satisfaction.

With many cordial greetings,

Yours truly,

László Siklóssy
