WELCOME TO THE SEASON 0 PLAYOFFS OF THE PALADINS COMMUNITY COMPETITIVE LEAGUE!

First and foremost, congratulations to all of the teams that have made it to our playoffs. You have proven your strength and have fought your way to the top of your region!

All rules from the regular season still apply. THE FOLLOWING, HOWEVER, ARE DIFFERENT FROM THE REGULAR SEASON. PLEASE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO EVERYTHING LISTED BELOW.

-- FORMAT --

During the regular season, matches ran on a Best of Three (3) format. The playoffs matches will run on a Best of Five (5) format. This means that the first team to win three games wins the match!

-- MAPS / MAP BANS --

During the playoffs, each line-up will compete on maps that are randomly selected for each individual match. However, upon release of the schedule, teams leaders are required to communicate with each other to decide on which maps they would like to ban from being selected.

EACH TEAM IS ALLOWED ONE MAP BAN, FOR A TOTAL OF TWO MAPS BEING BANNED FROM EACH INDIVIDUAL MATCH. ONCE THE BANS ARE DECIDED ON, IT MUST BE REPORTED TO BRAN IMMEDIATELY VIA SCREENSHOT. YOU WILL ONLY RECEIVE THE MAPS YOU WILL BE PLAYING ON /AFTER/ BRAN RECEIVES A SCREENSHOT CONFIRMING YOUR REQUESTED MAP BANS.

For example, once the schedule has been posted, Team A Leader messages Team B Leader and lets them know that Team A has decided to ban “Timber Mill” from being selected. Team B Leader replies to let Team A know that Team B has decided to ban “Frozen Guard”. Once this has been confirmed, Team A Leader takes a screenshot of their conversation and sends it to bran through Discord, and bran will exclude the maps specified when entering all Siege maps into a random list selector. Bran will relay five maps, for five games, to both team leaders through Discord once this has happened.
