Background

Learn more about Citizens Energy Groups plans to supply 15-25 million gallons a day (mgd) of water to Lebanon (5 mgd) & the LEAP industrial site (20 mgd) at linktree.com/protectpiketownship.

  • According to Citizens Energy Group (CEG) as much as 3 million gallons a day of water for this program would be coming from Eagle Creek Reservoir, with the other portion coming from across the CEG water system.
  • Via separate pipelines, 15-25 mgd of treated effluent water would be returned to waterways that are part of the Citizens Energy Group system via Lebanon Utilities. Lebanon Utilities is currently evaluating routes that would discharge the entire quantity of 15-25 mgd of treated effluent water upstream of Eagle Creek Reservoir (meaning the reservoir may still be receiving all of the treated effluent water).
