PATRICK RUSSO

February 11, 2015

My fellow Americans, thank you for gathering here this evening. I would like to discuss what has been occurring on in the United States as of late:

First of all, the military is continuing to grow, we are currently at fifty-one members, holding trainings frequently with active leadership, so on.

The Secret Service recruitment numbers are at an all time high. I applaud the Secret Service and Homeland Security leadership for being able to increase recruitment while also implementing strict requirements for our agents.

For the first time in many months, the Department of Commerce is making progress. Stores and restaurants are being added to the mall under Capitol Hill, and Secretary Leo is working diligently on a commerce employees program, who will staff said stores and restaurants,to be up and running as soon as possible.

The Metropolitan Police Department reform is still underway, with the appointment and confirmation of new MPD Chief Wade. Upon taking office, Mark had everyone go back to the Academy to ensure that our officers protecting the American people are of the highly capable.

I encourage all Americans who seek employment to apply to the MPD, we need experienced and dedicated men and women in this agency.

One other item before I begin taking questions, I want to announce a leave of absence this weekend, Saturday through Monday. I’ll be submitting a formal document to the Speaker of the House and President pro tempore Friday evening, saying precisely what I just described. I am going on vacation for the weekend, and I want to ensure the nation is in good hands. Someone who is readily available to deal with issues that may arise during my absence.

I am fully confident in Vice President Rockwell’s abilities to take the reins for this three day weekend.

At this time, I will take any questions you may have regarding the remarks I just made or the country in general.

Patrick  Russo.
