Technology at PCES

Technology is for LEARNING at PCES! We use technology to teach and learn about standards in our academic curriculum as well as the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards.  All teachers and students are expected to follow the guidelines in the FCBOE Acceptable Use Policy and Student Code of Conduct. It is important for parents and stakeholders to be knowledgeable about the different resources available to students throughout our school as well as at home.

Technology Login Card

Parents will receive a copy of a login card that students use to access various websites and programs at school and home. If you are unsure how your child should be using a particular program, please contact your child’s teacher as each classroom may have different expectations and procedures. Please keep this card in a safe place to protect your child’s privacy and to have this information ready when needed.

Technology Resources

Google Apps for Education

Our school system has partnered with Google to provide students with a suite of applications that will allow students to create, collaborate on and share documents, spreadsheets, slide presentations, and more. Students use a login to access Google Apps at school and at home. Please note that elementary-aged students cannot access email associated with these accounts.

Infinite Campus

Infinite Campus (IC) is Fayette County’s Student Information System. All Fayette County teachers use this system  for taking attendance, parent messaging, progress reports and report cards. Fourth and fifth grade teachers also use IC for their gradebooks. You can access your child’s information by logging in from the IC Parent Portal found on our school website: under the Resources tab. Your login credentials remain the same each year. To create a login you must have your child’s birthdate and Student ID which can be obtained from the school’s IC Registrar in the front office.  Please note: If you have a change of email address, phone number, or other contact information, please make sure you change it within Infinite Campus.

Textbook Materials

Think Central provides web-based materials that are linked to our Math textbooks. Using the login information on the card provided, you can access online versions of the textbooks and other related materials on this site: The Clever website portal provides access to a variety of academic resources including our new Social Studies textbook.
