Technology at PCES

Technology is for LEARNING at PCES! We use technology to teach and learn about standards in our academic curriculum as well as the new Georgia Computer Science Standards.  All teachers and students are expected to follow the guidelines in the FCBOE Acceptable Use Policy and Student Code of Conduct. It is important for parents and stakeholders to be knowledgeable about the different resources available to students throughout our school as well as at home.

Technology Logins

Please see this page for Google usernames and passwords. These are generated automatically by Infinite Campus when your child is enrolled. Students will use this login for their Chromebook (2nd-5th). All grades may use this login to access the various programs listed below through a program called Classlink. Students should be able to click the links from there to automatically log into other software that they need. If you are unsure how your child should be using a particular program, please contact your child’s teacher as each classroom may have different expectations and procedures.

Technology Resources

Google G Suite for Education

Our school system has partnered with Google to provide students with a suite of applications that will allow students to create, collaborate on and share documents, spreadsheets, slide presentations, and more. Students use a login to access Google Apps at school and at home. Please note that elementary-aged students cannot access email associated with these accounts.

Infinite Campus

Infinite Campus (IC) is Fayette County’s Student Information System. All Fayette County teachers use this system  for taking attendance, parent messaging, progress reports and report cards. Fourth and fifth grade teachers also use IC for their gradebooks. You can access your child’s information by logging in from the IC Parent Portal found at the top of our school website: Your login credentials remain the same each year. To create a login you must have your child’s birthdate and Student ID which can be obtained from the school’s IC Registrar in the front office or from the email sent to all parents at the beginning of the school year.  Please note: If you have a change of email address, phone number, or other contact information, please change it within Infinite Campus as soon as possible.

Textbook Materials

Most of our textbook materials can be accessed through Classlink.
