NEWSLETTER Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 16 September 2024
Dear Parents and Carers  We are looking forward to welcoming Year 5 and Year 6 pupils and their parents to our Open Evening on Thursday 19th September 2024 from 4.45pm until 8pm. Thank you to all parents of JHNCC students for supporting the College. Your children are the best ambassadors of our community and we have been inundated with volunteers keen to support this event in departments and assisting as guides to visitors across the site. The KS5 Success Event on Tuesday here at the College welcomed our new Year 12 intake and their parents and carers who were very keen to find out how to get the most out of sixth form life and ensure the next two years lead to positive next steps. I have been very impressed with the Year 12 cohort and their focus on creating good learning habits. I greet them every morning at the gate and am hearing lots of positive comments from colleagues about how they are adjusting well to this new phase in their education. Thank you to all the parents and carers who supported the event and to all staff who facilitated this. Today a group of our Art students have been out with the Columbans working on a community arts project. We are delighted that this group are the first this academic year to ensure the impact of the work that goes on in our College is felt in our community. The Newman Effect, informed by our HEART Values, will continue to impact upon our wider community as we begin our collaborative work within Our Lady and All Saints Multi Academy Company and as we retain and nurture links with all our primary schools and parishes. Thank you for your continued support of the College Mrs Clarke |
