Yesterday,  at the polls the voters in Minnesota elected a new governor and a new US senator. Tim Walz takes over for Mark Dayton for governor and Tina Smith joins Amy Klobuchar in the senate. The republicans maintained control of the US Senate but the democrats now have a majority in the house.

Congratulations to the Saint Paul Schools and thank you to the citizens of the city who voted yes for the school referendum yesterday. This property tax increase will give over 18 million dollars a year to the public schools in the city.

Everyone in the Twin Cities was welcomed by a fresh dusting of snow this morning. But yesterday morning, there wasn’t a trace. So how are Centralities feeling about the weather? CMN reporter Sofia, took a look in your neck of the woods…

Students a reminder quarter 1 ends Friday. Teachers, your grades are due on Tuesday November 13th.

The Robotics team is hosting a Trivia Night on Friday night in the black box. All are invited to attend this fundraiser and compete against other teams for the grand prize. The event starts at 6:30pm

It has been 29 years since the Berlin Wall came down. German Club hosts a Berlin Wall Party this coming  Friday. Come and join us for information about the history of the Berlin Wall and the chance to add some graffiti to the wall. Food, drink and history all in one afternoon. We will meet in room 4101 after school.

Tomorrow, Varsity Girls swimming will be competing in the section 6AA Prelims at Southview M.S.

This is a Boys Basketball meeting for anyone interested in playing Basketball this year in room 1415 tomorrow.
