Character Biography

Once, in an Era of peace and bliss, there was a place where great tranquility reigned on the Throne. The Garden of Kelthas. The lord of this land was Nadeaj’lik, one of the first Hydraxian Waterlords, who became known as the Gillmen after the Epic Battle in which they fell. Nadeaj had many creations which served as protectors of the Garden. Nadeaj was brother to Thaza, daughter of Kelthas, who had founded the Garden. After Thaza’s death, he became ruler. One of his creations, a microraptor was flying around, it was named Solist. It perched on one of the nine grand stones surrounding the great temple. The spirits of the 9 Constructs lived within those stones, forever and eternally preserved until a time of need. The 9 constructs were Rajh of Fire, Setesh of Darkness, Isiset of Magic, Ammunae of Life, Aqueris of Water, Osirun of Undeath, Gebilos of Earth, Arestis of Air and Atherion of Technology. The Microraptor was friends with a great stone golem named Crak and a caudipteryx called Allkem. The three were a group, led by a great dragon called Mekan. The 4 had always been together until the Era of Darkness. The Darkness had been subdued by one of the 9 Constructs, who had absorbed it, yet it had escaped and had grown over all the years, becoming something extremely powerful.  

The new darkness came, brimming with fury, so Nadeaj’lik had to take action. He called on the group of 4 and 4 of his own soldiers. All 9 stood by a construct stone, and let the power seep through them. The microraptor became Twister Terror - a Tikki-creature and his cousin, the caudipteryx became Double Trouble - another Tikki-creature. The Earth Golem became Darvron - a Dark Golem and the Dragon became Mekankalgon - a robot-dragon. Nadeaj’lik became Pironeaj - a Pyroxian Magmalord and the 4 soldiers became Ghoaster the Ghoul, Eeelsech - a vine-like creature, Prism Break, an Earth Elemental. And the last one became a huge Kraken, named the Leviathan. They each had astounding new abilities.

Twister Terror and Double Trouble both had magical staves, one which shot eldritch beams, the other which controlled powerful winds. Darvron had taken in the Construct who had absorbed the Darkness, and was throwing Dark Lightning left and right. Mekankalgon was spewing laser beams and glaring flames. Pironeaj had a harpoon-like gun, which shot napalm-tipped arrows.

Mekankalgon and Darvron entered the cloud of horror itself, becoming trapped. Having absorbed Setesh, Darvron had the power of the Darkness brimming within him, the cloud leeched it out of him creating a beast of shadow. It attacked three of the soldiers as well as Pironeaj himself, drawing out a portion of the power of their elements. It became the fearsome four-headed Hydragon and it sent out a bolt of darkness into the Leviathan, their most powerful fighter. It also drew out all of the power from Eeelsech and Ghoaster, leaving their bodies dead and drained of power. Darvron countered its attack though, and took in a great wave of darkness, growing bigger and stronger, grabbing Mekankalgon and throwing him into the heart of the Darkness. Mekankalgon stabbed the Heart of Darkness with a piercing laser beam, causing the Darkness to writhe in agony and retreat, but its job was already done.

The darkness seeped into Leviathan’s mind, turning him crazy, the huge beast unleashed its anger on the garden, drilling down through the thin layer of land above the water, sinking the temple, the majestic garden was cut off from the land and became a huge lagoon. Leviathan was cursed to a never ending existence beneath the waves, so used its power to mutate itself into a shark so powerful none could defeat it.  The remaining six fled.

Once back in more habitable land, they set off for Oilspill Island to try and find a home amongst the Hydraxian Waterlords, (also known as Gillmen), yet they were turned away. Prism Break left the group, hoping to find other Earth Golem deep down the Molekin Mine. Double Trouble aspired to become an alchemist, and left as well. The remaining 4 traveled Skylands for a new place to live. Eventually, they found the Core of Light. They sensed the power deep within, and they were hungry for it, so they began a ritual to leech the power from the machine.

However, the Core stopped them, and absorbed the 4 into it. The Eternal Elemental Sources took them in. Twister Terror to Air, Mekankalgon to Technology and Pironeaj to Fire. However, Darvron had Darkness inside him, and was sent away to a place far away. This was the Lava Lakes Railway, where he slumbered for a long time. They were all trapped. During the period in which they were trapped, they felt an Earthly Essence joining them within. Eventually, the Core was destroyed, and the Eternal Sources were scattered. They were separated. The Eternal Fire Source went spinning away from the Ruins and it came to rest in Lava Lakes Railway. Pironeaj was within, and he sensed Darvron’s presence and sent out a call which awoke the Dark Golem. Darvron tried to free Pironeaj and was nearly able to, but the Unknown Power working on the Eternal Fire Source alerted Kaos, and when he appeared, he trapped the Fire Source into a volcano within the Railway. Darvron dived in so that they wouldn’t be separated again.

Meanwhile, the Eternal Tech Source was captured by the Trolls, with Mekankalgon inside. They took it and made it into the source of power for an ‘undefeatable’ tank. The Skylanders came eventually and claimed the sources one by one. As they claimed the Fire Source, Darvron was freed and followed the Skylanders back to the Core of Light. Darvron waited for the Core to be complete. As the final Source was brought into its rightful place, he noticed something else within it, looking into the Core, he could see that there were 8, not just 3 creatures within, but he couldn’t identify them.

As the Skylanders went to battle Kaos, Darvron came to the edge of the Core with Double Trouble and Prism Break at his side. They cast a spell which retrieved Twister Terror, Pironeaj and Mekankalgon from the Core. It was the same ritual they had cast to take its power, but this time the objects they were leeching from it were their friends, they were eventually freed and then they waited. When the Skylanders returned, they opted to join the group.

Later that day, there was a grand party. Darvron was attracted by a familiar essence and the 4 came to a secluded grove with train tracks leading down to the Molekin Mine. In the grove were 10 Skylanders. 5 of which had been in the Core of Light. One was a Magic Dragon named Khronosyro who was talking with Terrafin and Drill Sergeant. Another was Gebrann - a Rock Troll, who was talking with Hades - an Undead Gremlin. Aqyro was a Water Dragon, who was talking heartedly with Wham-shell and Zap. The Last one was Vinetrix who was curled up around Camo in a corner. So all 8 of the Skylanders trapped within the Core had been freed, great! Life from then on was, as well as you can define it, normal.
