THIS IS A LIVING DOCUMENT BEING UPDATED DAILY. We are working to add Black voices, as they are the ones that must be leading this conversation. If you are here as a non-Black Person, we must listen to our Black peers and amplify their voices. We, as non-Black People, have an obligation to use our privilege in actively supporting and showing solidarity for folks in the Black community. Our Black peers should not have to bear the burden of unpacking anti-Blackness and racial inequality, while they are fighting for their lives. We should do our part by focusing within our own communities that perpetuate anti-Blackness. It is our duty to learn/unlearn behaviors and practice what it means to be an ally. Please note that this is not a comprehensive list. This is merely a starting point. Take the time to educate yourselves about these issues and seek out other resources beyond this document. As non-Black allies, we must continue to use our privilege to help in this cause. We can sign petitions, donate, protest, and MORE! No one is free until we are all free.
DISCLAIMER: If you are here as a white person, we recommend you start here.
