For our Outdoor Pantry (our biggest need overall)
Our pantry needs are changing!  While the biggest need is still for food that can be “cooked’ in microwaves and over camp fires (our largest group using the pantry are experiencing homelessness ) more traditional pantry stables are also useful.

  • Bars - Granola, Cereal, Protein
  • Ramen, instant potatoes and other “just add hot water” type foods (best in single packs with “cups” for cooking)
  •  Individual packs of crackers and chips, trail mix
  • “Hormel complete” type  meals, single serving spaghetti etc. (think shelf stable  microwave lunch )
  •  Individual packs of chicken/tuna with crackers
  • meat jerky and vegan jerky
  • Individual serving size cereal
  • Shelf stable milk (dairy and all plant varieties)
  • Single serve juice, electrolyte drinks
  • Individual fruit cups  
  • Can openers
  •  electrolyte powders
  • Bottled water and sports drinks
  • Hygiene items (body wash, shampoo. Conditioner, lotion, toothpaste etc)

For Our Free Store/(Clothing and camping )        
** We are currently unable to take ANY clothing other than what is listed here. We recommend taking Adult winter gear items to the Daytime Warming Center or LEAF Harm Reduction **
** Please do not leave furniture or household items unless you have first talked to Sheri or Pat!**        

                

  • Socks
  • Sweat pants and stretch pants (in all sizes esp L, XL and larger)
  • New underwear in all sizes (esp. “Mens” )

Please do not bring children’s clothing, towels, bed sheets, off season clothes, household goods, furniture, holiday decorations or anything else not on this list! Thanks!

For our Pet Pantry

  • wet/canned cat food
  • Cat liter

For our Harm Reduction Cupboard

  • Single use packs of triple-antibiotic ointment
  • Single use packets of burn ointment

For Around the Kitchen Table

Needs vary monthly,  see the facebook page, or bring a dish to share. Beverages, fruits and desserts are always needed. You can contribute directly through our partners at FedUp https://fedupministries.org/give

Other Needs for the House and Special Requests                 

  • Bus Tokens or one day bus passes  
  • Gift cards for fast food places, coffee shops and other restaurants where folks can sit to get out of the weather
  • Gas and Grocery Gift Cards

Monetary donations can be sent via venmo @sheri-wander or CashApp $SheriWander or message Sheri at 734-754-0648 to talk about making a tax free donation through our fiscal agent First Baptist Church of Ann Arbor (please note this is new!)

Please do NOT drop off household goods, or furniture unless you have discussed it with Pat or Sheri first. Unfortunately we simply do have the storage capacity and this makes a lot of work for us.
