Dear Sir,

Mr. de Laszlo has just returned from Egypt, after having been absent three months, and regrets he was unable to give you a reply to your letter sooner.

Mr. de Laszlo wishes me to let you know that he has already done his duty towards the Artists’ General Benevolent Society, and sent his cheque to the Steward of the Royal Society of British Artists. He has also subscribed to the Steward of the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours.
