FSRC Policy for Free Memberships

From time to time, the club may want to extend a free membership to an individual or set of individuals. Possible examples of the motivation include:

• prize in an FSRC promotion
• to provide access to our training program to clients of established local nonprofit programs who have limited financial means and who have shown interest in getting started on a healthier lifestyle

In general, the club will not provide free memberships to unaffiliated individuals solely on the basis of financial hardship, although the board or other members could choose to personally sponsor such individuals.

A proposal for a free membership may be made by any board member, and the proposal requires board approval. Free memberships are effective for one membership year.  "Lifetime" or multi-year free memberships will not be provided.
