Comparing Anatomy and Analyzing Homologous Structures

This assignment is assessing your ability to: Apply scientific ideas to construct an explanation for the anatomical similarities and differences among modern organisms and between modern and fossil organisms to infer evolutionary relationships… In other words: Looking at how different organisms have really similar skeletons and analyzing that to infer about how they have evolved over time.

In this lab, you will compare the anatomy of limbs of two different vertebrate animals by creating a model you will present to the class, then we will have a gallery walk where you can see each other's work.

Objective
