Dear Mr de László
I have seen Mr. Gill this afternoon and write at once to tell you that in my opinion it is not [feasible?] to do anything with the Home Office at this moment.[1]
Directly the new Home Secretary is appointed

application can be made for leave for you to move; and indeed I hope and believe that with the end of the war so nearly in sight a complete termination will be set to your [illegible] trial and that days of rest and happiness are in store

But at the present moment I can only as a friend still counsel patience.
