December Meeting venue change
As mentioned above, there is a venue change for the December meeting. HSNC is holding a Pratishtha at the Temple Hall during this time. Please be aware and expect to encounter increased traffic and possibly tight parking areas. Meeting and Pathshala timings will remain the same.
New Pathshala Time and Location
To many of us who have seen the dire need for our kids to get a proper environment for learning Jain principles in a classroom setting, it is great to see that we have now been able to provide them with just such a thing. As of May 3rd, students have been going to a new location that is quite close to the Temple.
Please refer to the Pathshala section for more information on this change.
Also, please note that the monthly meeting schedule has been modified a bit to accommodate for this change. Please refer to the Monthly Meeting section above for the revised schedule.
Food Table
Please continue to refer to the below link for your assignments.

Note: Due to the change in venue to Mini Hall (main building) for the December meeting, we will utilize the kitchen in the Main Hall. Please bring your assigned lunch items there.
Weekly Mahavir Puja
Every Saturday, a Mahavir Puja is performed at the Hindu Temple. Volunteers sign up to perform this Puja, and are assigned specific Saturdays.
The Puja is very simple and takes less than one hour. It is a great way to teach and prepare children with this important ritual, so that they find confidence in performing it during daily routine, special occasions or even pilgrimages in India. Children will learn how to perform the kesar Puja and all aspects of Asht prakari Puja.
Mrs. Rekha Banker, who coordinates weekly Puja, will be happy to demonstrate in person, and has several books with illustrations to help. If you are interested, please contact her at rekla78@gmail.com.
Please visit http://www.jscnc.org and click Events. The calendar has the most up-to-date listing of all confirmed activities for the year. All the tithis (Lunar Days) are also posted on the online calendar. Here is a list of some key dates: | ||||||||||||
