The citizens share that Kichak’s soldiers have abducted their kids. He plans to sacrifice them tomorrow when his statue will be unveiled. Ashoka refuses to let it happen. The blood of any innocent will not fall in Takshshila. Acharya Devrath warns him. It is Kichak’s plan to trap you, to kill you! If you go alone then you will certainly fail. You need to be united and practical right now. Ashoka requests him to guide him. Acharya Devrath points out that they have to find a solution to break that chakravyuh that Kichak has planned for him.

Kichak thinks Ashoka will find out the truth before his death today. It is impossible to break Kichak’s chakravyuh. My sculpture will be situated when the sun will be at peak.

Ashoka says the faith of citizens will be restored today. The first pillar of their victory will be placed there, and not Kichak’s statue!

The citizens of Takshshila pull up Kichak’s statue so it can stand upright. Agnibahu is very happy to see it. My Swami looks so grand in this statue. The moment will be grand. My Swami will win and Ashoka will lose. Veerayan points out that it will be a loss for every person who tried to come in between Mahanayak’s way, including Bindusar. The trap that we have laid for Ashoka will bring his death! It will be impossible for him to get out of this Chakravyuh!

Ashoka says there might be some way to break the chakravyuh. Acharya Devrath points out that Veerayan has made it. He is the one who planned a chakravyuh while winning over Kalinga. It wont be easy. Ashoka shares what Acharya Chanakya used to say. We often find solution when we observe the chakravyuh carefully. We can break the chakravyuh from inside, if not outside. Where is Bhairav taking the kids from? He plans to sit in the cart in which other kids are forced to sit. Acharya Devrath asks him how he will get out. Ashoka says my mother believes I have been born to help people out of their grief. I will make sure I live up to her belief. There has been no school which can hold the kids amongst the four walls of the school! There might be some such kids. Acharya Devrath calls it a risk. Ashoka does not mind it. The biggest risk is when we stop taking risks. I wont let anything happen to the kids. I can even risk my life for them if I have to!

Ashoka stands in the line of kids which are brought inside the fort to be killed. Kichak reaches there. A lady pleads him to free her only son. Spare his life. Don’t sacrifice him please. Kichak smiles seeing her plight. I am your Swami. I have been challenged by Ashoka. You all are in danger because of him. I will leave all the kids if you bring Ashoka to me. if it does not happen then he will be responsible for the death of all these kids!

Kichak announces that today, with Ashoka’s sacrifice, he will give a fitting reply to the Maurya’s. His sister adds that it will show everyone what we do with the rebellions!

Ashoka is not happy to see Keshav there. You shouldn’t have come here. If Kichak notices you then your life will be in risk. A kid hears Keshav calling him Ashoka. He is the one because of whom we are going to be sacrificed!

Kichak says start the sacrifice as soon as I signal you.

The kids want to pinpoint Ashoka before Kichak. We will get free then. Keshav tells them otherwise. Ashoka questions the kids. Are you sure Kichak will let go of you if you tell him about my presence here? The kid nods. We haven’t done anything. Ashoka reasons that they anyways haven’t done anything. Do you want Kichak to take over Takshshila for forever? The kids ask him if he wants them to rebel. He will kill us. Ashoka advises them to try atleast. Even if I die during this then my mother will be proud of me. Why did I come here all the way from Patliputra then? I feel it is my duty to bring justice in your lives, to try! I don’t want to live with the regret of not doing anything when I could have done something. I cannot do anything alone. I need your support. The decision is yours – do you want to die while fearing Kichak or do you want to kill that fear itself! The kids ask him what they should do now. Ashoka says we have to be united. Acharya Devrath also stands amidst the crowd.

Kichak unveils the statue but it turns out to be the statue of a lion! All of his supporters are shocked. Acharya Devrath smiles. Kichak looks at the crowd. He holds Agnibahu’s neck. Who dared to do so? Agnibahu is clueless. Kichak questions the security. Who came here!

Precap: Ashoka says I told you I have come here as your end. I will show you what I say, I will fulfil it! Kichak asks his soldiers to bring Ashoka to him. Today I will show the citizens what is the consequence of going against Kichak! Ashoka himself steps forward.

Episode 252 - 13th January 2016

Kichak looks angrily at the statue. He holds Agnibahu’s neck. Who dared to do so? Agnibahu is clueless. Kichak questions the security. Who came here! Ashoka recalls how he made the statue of lion at night under his mother’s guidance. Anand asks Ashoka about Bhante Budheshwar (Amatya) and Kaurvaki. Ashoka has no idea about Bhante but says Kaurvaki is with him. Anand tells him that something is happening in Vishwavidyalaya. Everyone is rushing to complete Kichak’s statue by tonight only. Ashoka knows it already. Ashoka shows him his royal coin and gives his intro. I know how the kids can be saved. I need your help for that. Anand agrees. He offers Prasad to the soldiers standing guard at the place where Kichak was going to unveil his statue. The soldiers faint after eating the Prasad. Flashback ends.

Kichak yet again demands to know who did it! Ashoka loudly calls out his name. He removes the veil from around his face. I did it! Everyone turns to look at him. I told you I have come here as your end. This statue is the sign that Samrat BIndu is still concerned about Takshshila. I restored that belief today amongst everyone present here. Look in to their eyes. You will understand it yourself. This statue indicates that the evil will end now. This is indicative of the faith that has returned in the kids here. No one can snatch their right to live freely here in Takshshila. I will show you what I say, I will fulfil it! It will be forever etched in history. Kichak asks his soldiers to bring Ashoka to him. I will kill him with my own hands and tie his head at this very statue. Today I will show the citizens what is the consequence of going against Kichak! Ashoka warns Veerayan not to come. I am coming on my own. He moves toward Kichak.

Kichak and Ashoka glare at each other. Kichak takes out his sword. There is a blast of smoke right before KIchak can hurt Ashoka. Everyone’s vision gets blurred for a while. Veerayan is shocked and angry as his vyuh was broken. Kichak sends him and the soldiers to catch Ashoka and the kids.

The kids tell Ashoka that soldiers will easily catch them here in the Vishwavidyalaya. We have no weapons to fight with them. It is impossible to stay alive here. Ashoka says with the faith, with which we have confronted Kichak makes us understand we already did something which was impossible. No one can snatch our faith from us. They can kill us today if they want. I am ready. But you all are well aware of every corner of this Vishwavidyala. We can defeat them if we stay united. The kids nod. We have faith.

Nayak notices Kichak standing alone as everyone goes to look for Ashoka. He thinks to safeguard Kichak. Ashoka diverts Kichak. He follows Ashoka. Acharya Devrath stands in Nayak’s way. We have a fight due. Shall we complete it? They begin fighting.

The kids beat Bhairav and the soldiers. Bhairav manages to run away from there. The kids beat soldiers at every corner of the Vishwavidyalaya. Agnibahu falls in a trap laid by Ashoka and other kids.

A lady asks Kaurvaki how she is. She asks for everyone. The lady says everyone has gone to Vishwavidyalaya. Kaurvaki wants to go there too. He has helped me so much. I have to go.

Veerayan and Ashoka come face to face. They engage in a sword fight.

Nayak tells Acharya Devrath that he cannot stop him from protecting the Mahanayak. Acharya Devrath says I will always protect the one who rightfully deserves the throne.

Veerayan talks about sending a gift to Bindusar. We will send your head as the gift. Your mother will die seeing how wear son she has given birth to! Ashoka kills Veerayan. I cannot let that person live who will try to harm my mother or motherland! Kichak notices Veerayan lying dead on the floor He angrily shouts Ashoka. Today will be the last day of your life. Ashoka runs from there.

On the other hand, Kaurvaki is on her way to the Vishwavidyalaya. Ashoka is surely in some problem. Ashoka notices the main door locked. Kichak angrily screams Ashoka. Nayak’s attention is diverted. Acharya Devrath pushes him and goes from there.

Kichak too reaches the same dead end. He calls out for Ashoka. Come out. Your death is written! He notices a kid hiding nearby. Using him as a bait, he asks Ashoka to come out before he counts till 5. I will kill this kid otherwise. Ashoka steps out before Kichak can harm the kid. Kichak knew he will come for sure. Ashoka drops his sword. Leave this kid. Kichak pushes the kid aside. The first sacrifice on my statue was to be yours! It is the right time now. Kichak’s sister, Bhairav, Agnibahu and Acharya Devrath reach there. Kichak holds Ashoka by his neck.

Precap: Acharya Devrath tells the citizens of Takshshila his real identity. Kaurvaki is shocked to know his real identity. She aims an arrow at him. He was not my friend and can never be!

Episode 253 - 14th January 2016

Kichak holds Ashoka by his neck. Cheer in my name. Say Kichak ki Jai! Ashoka thinks of his mother’s and of Acharya Chanakya’s advice. You are fighting for united India, for your motherland. You have to do what is good for everyone. Kichak asks Ashoka to open his eyes. Your death is standing right before you. Ashoka says Jai Janani! All the kids and citizens of Takshshila say it in unison after him. Kichak is shocked to see everyone there. Ashoka asks Kichak to leave him or he will die. Kichak warns him that their game isn’t over yet! He lets go of Ashoka’s neck. Ashoka says I have come to put an end to it. He keeps a dagger at Kichak’s neck. KIchak and his teammates are shocked while Acharya Devrath smiles victoriously. People shout to kill Kichak! Ashoka says you would have died of embarrassment if you could have seen this fear on your face right now. It isn’t imaginary, but true. Death is at your door. The game you have been playing with these people will be played with you today. Ironically, no one here wants to save you. They all want you dead. Amatya asks Ashoka to stop. Don’t kill him. Everyone turns to look at him. Amatya says we cannot snatch what we can give. Hatred solves nothing. Kichak looks at him. Acharya Devrath thinks he has seen this person before. Who is he? Where did I see him? Ashoka drops his dagger. Kichak looks thankfully at Amatya. Amatya assures Kichak nothing will happen to him. These people wont kill you. They will have to hit me with stones before that. He signals Kichak to pick up the dagger. Kichak does it. You are right. He warns Ashoka not to stop him or the death of this monk will go on you. Agnibahu seconds him. Let us leave before something goes wrong. Kichak walks out while still holding the dagger at Amatya.

Acharya Devrath realises Amatya’s real identity just then. He is an enemy of Maurya’s. He is one of the three persons who know the way out of the secret passage built by the Maurya’s! Ashoka gets angry. The door is locked before he can try to go out.

Kichak demands to know where Amatya is taking them. Everyone wants to know the truth. Amatya says we should first get out of this secret passage. It can break down anytime.

Acharya Dev says Rakshas is alive. Anand says you might be mistaken. Acharya Devrath denies. I can never make a mistake in identifying Acharya Chanakya’s enemy. Till now we felt he is dead. His return as Kichak’s support is not right for Magadh or Maurya’s. Kichak is alive today because of him. There is nothing to be sad about though. It would have been good if Kichak was dead today but we have shaken his idea he is immortal. This could never happen before. Ask the citizens. Look in to their eyes. They look scared a while ago. They are confident and hopeful now. I am sure their faith is going to continue. This is our first win. Keshav too says the same. It could happen only because of you. We should celebrate it. Everyone cheers for Ashoka.

Acharya Devrath thinks Acharya Chanakya was right about this kid (ashoka). He only will become the ruler of united India. He will take it to new heights Kaurvaki is surprised to hear everyone cheering for Ashoka. Did he defeat Kichak? I can free my father now if that’s true. She walks closer to know what’s happening.

Ashoka mentally tells his mother he fulfilled the first promise made to her. The citizens now believe in me. I will never let it break now.

Kaurvaki is glad that Ashoka won in reality. I only will give him his first gift.

Ashoka appreciates and encourages the citizens to fight against the wrong. Are you all with me in this? Do you trust me? They all agree with him. Acharya Devrath addresses the citizens. The kid standing before you, who helped you all gain freedom from Kichak’s tortures, isn’t an ordinary kid. Kaurvaki thinks she knew it already. Ashoka is not an ordinary kid. Acharya Devrath asks Ashoka to tell the citizens of Takshshila his real identity. Ashoka talks about the dreams that his parents, his Guru and he had seen together. Takshshila is the part of my mission. I promise you I will make this place the base of my mission. He announces that he is Rajkumar Ashoka – the son of Samrat Bindusar and Devi Dharma. Kaurvaki is shocked to know his real identity. She remembers their old convo when he always used to support Maurya’s. Ashoka shows the royal coin to the citizens. I vow to save and protect you all. I will be the new Prantpal (security head).

Kichak insists upon killing Ashoka. Amatya is shocked to know Ashoka’s real identity. Agnibahu tells Kichak Ashoka was the disciple of this monk. He insisted upon meeting you. Amatya talks about his background. Kichka immediately recognizes him. You are still alive! Amatya nods. I sent you a message through Sushim. We share a same aim, a same enemy. Acharya Chanakya died but I want to prove my worth. I want to help you. I know only you can face them!

Kaurvaki thinks of all the happier times she has spent with Ashoka. I trusted someone for the first time in life. He was not my friend and can never be! He is Samrat Bindu’s son, because of who my father is in such condition. She shoots an arrow at Ashoka. Ashoka hears the sound and turns in time. A garland falls in his neck instead. He notices Kaurvaki. She looks angrily at him.

Precap: Helena tells Sushim Dharma has a doubt on him. You should leave for Takshshila before she tells anything to Bindu. Charu too tells him to go. Ashoka looks for Kaurvaki. He rues hurting Kaurvaki. I wanted to tell you my truth. Kaurvaki is crying in a corner.

Episode 254 - 15th January 2016

Scene 1

Kichak says to Amatya that why didnt you recognize Ashok earlier? Amatya says I didnt see him earlier, Helena told me that we both are Maurya’s enemies, before I could find Ashok, Chanakya kidnapped me then I got to know that Ashok is coming here, I thought this is right chance to kill Ashok who has Chanakya’s values, Sushim sent this letter to you, I came here and got to know Bindu announcing his heir then I met Ashok here, he hided the fact that he is alive so I didnt doubt him, I didnt have doubt that he was alive, Kichak’s sister asks why did you come all the way here? Amatya says I wanted to meet Kichak, and tell him that everything is official thats why I had put stamp on letter, I wanted to meet him to plan about Sushim’s death, I tried to meet him many times but your soldiers didnt allow me, Kichak asks how can you help me in killing Sushim? Amatya says we will send letter to Sushim, he will come to meet you then we will offer Bindu to come here, we will get chance to kill Mauryans, you will greek people’s help too, Kichak says I can do all this alone too then whats your need? Amatya sees an arrow there, thunder is coming as weather starts changing, a spark falls there, Kichak looks on, Amatya says this thunder can make anyone afraid but it needs direction to destroy things, you may have power but doesnt know direction, you need someone to give you that, Kichak asks what we have to do now? Amatya says everyone has a weakness, we have to find weakness of Ashok.

Kaurvaki is sad, she recalls how Ashok said that he cares for her, how she hugged him, how Ashok announced that he is Bindu’s son, she cries, she says it was my fault that I thought I can get a friend on this land of Mauryas, you told me clearly that you wont tell your truth to me, I cant forget that day when I trusted you more than myself and told you everything about my life, I showed you my wounds without knowing that you have same blood who has given me those wounds, you didnt say anything to me, just saw my tears. Ashok is finding Kaurvaki, he recalls his fights, her care for him, he says I wanted to tell you everything Karvaki, I wanted to give you trust that all are not same in Magadh and that my father doesnt do anything wrong but my mission was more important to me, I fulfilled it but I didnt want to hurt you, just come infront of me once and see in my eyes, you will trust my truth, Ashok and Kaurvaki are standing on opposite side of walls. Kaurvaki says Ashok won over everyone but his victory is losing for me, his words doesnt matter now, I did mistake by showing my wounds and pain to you but I wont allow you to use them against me, she starts going from there, Ashok listens her anklet’s sound, he shouts Kaurvaki’s name, kaurvaki stops, Ashok says I know you are on otherside of wall, Karuvaki says I will not look back from now on, she leaves, Devrath comes and says what are you doing? Ashok says I want to stop Karuvaki, Devrath says dont forget we had to bear so much because of your emotions flowing, Kichak is finding your like crazy, people are waiting for you and chanting for you, they have hopes from you and you cant shatter them, Ashok says how can I leave Kaurvaki then? Devrath says I am not asking you to leave her but you will put yourself in danger if you go behind her, I will send someone else to find her, dont forget we have to fight with Kichak only then you can meet Kaurvaki easily, he takes Ashok from there.

Scene 2

Devrath says to Ashok that we should send information to Patliputra, Ashok says no, I feel there is someone in palace who is involved in Kichak’s plan thats why my all information was sent to Kichak, I dont want them to know that I am alive, I didnt even send message to my parents that I am alive, we have to do this fight here only, Devrath agrees and leaves. Ashok says I understand what Kaurvaki must be going through, I have Devrath and other people with me but she is alone, she must be feeling that I am cheater, that I broke her trust, I just wanted to tell her that truth is opposite to what she thinks about my father, I wish I could meet her, dont know if she is fine or not, Ashok finds a Keshav there, he asks him what he is going here, Kid falls down, Ashok sees that he is injured and a message written on his back warning Ashok, Ashok gets angry.

Kichak is beating his soldiers in anger, one minister says that we have wasted so much wealth on these soldiers but they are useless, other minister says you are thinking about wealth being wasted? think about what our rular Kichak is thinking, Kichak beats two soldiers at a time, he beats them all and says is there no one here who can give me challenge? my warrior should be like that he points finger at enemy and enemy dies, you all are uselss, Amatya says its useless to harm your people, he throws sand on Kichak’s eyes and says anger can work against man, minister says to Kichak that Ashok and his people are hiding but we can stop their food and water then they will have to come out eventually, Amatya says I agree with him and I will just fool them.

Devrath tells Ashok that the letters we sent to bindu couldnt reach him because of Kichak’s soldiers, he doesnt want Bindu to know that Ashok is alive, one man says we are stuck here, we cant go out and cant stay here for much time, Ashok is treating Keshav’s wounds, one man says to Ashok that Kichak have everything, he has power, weapons and evilness with him, maybe we made haste decision of challenging him openly, Devrath asks Ashok, what he thinks? what is needed to fight against Kichak? Ashok thinks.

PRECAP- Kaurvaki’s father says to her that you did mistake by telling your identity to a Maurya, I cant let you stay here now, Karuvaki says I havent come here all the way to go back, I want to go in Kichak’s palace at all cost. Kaurvaki enters Kichak’s palace as dasi, she comes in Kichak’s room, Kichak asks her to apply cream on his feet, Kaurvaki is hiding dagger, she angrily looks at him and is about to bring out dagger but kichak kicks her without even looking at her, she falls down and is shocked.

Episode 255 - 18th January 2016

Scene 1

Devrath asks Ashok what is needed to fight with Kichak? Ashok says knowledge, we need to know about our enemy and our power too, if Kichak have weapons then we have hands to make weapons, if he has soldiers then we have mothers who give births to soldiers, we should concentrate on knowing things and building ourselves.

Dharma thinks why Sushim seem tensed? what I am doing, I am doubting my family. Kasturi comes and says its weird, doctor’s(raj-ved) head was not found in his burnt house, Kasturi says I feel someone killed him before incident of fire happened, maybe enemies were afraid that he could bring out truth, Dharma says I am at fault, I should have protected them, I should have told Bindu, Kasturi says Bindu would want proofs which we didnt have, Dharma says we have to find enemies of Magadh, Kasturi says we have to work like Chanakya, he used to say that we can find truth in two ways, either find proofs against criminal or lay trap in such a way that criminal himself gets caught in it.

Ashok asks Arjun if he is fine? he says I know you are my strong soldier but you shouldnt go out alone, Arjun says you were sad from the time Karuvaki left you so I went to find her, I saw her gong somewhere but Kichak’s soldiers caught me, Ashok thinks if Kaurvaki is planning to go in Kichak’s palace? he says to Arjun that I am going somewhere but dont tell anyone, he leaves.

Karuvaki is walking on street. She finds financier taking coins from soldiers. She says till now nobody knew about my identity but now my biggest enemy Ashok knows about it, I dont know how he will make plans against me, I have to leave this place but for that, I have to free my father from Kichak’s place, she finds a soldier looking at her and recalls how she fought with him alongwith Ashok and that he is Kichak’s soldier, she runs from there, Soldier starts finding her.

Kaurvaki comes in market and hides, soldier informs his master that he saw girl who was with Ashok that day, master asks him to find that girl at any cost. Kaurvaki hides on shop’s roof, she is afraid of soldier, Soldier looks here and there, Kaurvaki is finding difficult to stay on roof, she tries to move from there, Ashok is in market too and has veil on his face, he thinks where are you Karuvaki? you should do anything which can put you in problem. Kauvaki comes down and runs from there, Ashok sees her and runs behind her, he stops a girl but its not Kaurvaki. He sees Kichak’s soldier there and covers his face, he leaves from there.

Karuvaki runs and tricks soldiers. Ashok sees her and stops her, she stops but soldiers come there so she runs away.

Scene 2

Sushim says to Charu that I dont know why you want me to go to Takshshila but I know it will benefit Siamak, am I right Helena? Helena says you wanna become Samrat but you cant understand that it will benefit you most, Dharma has doubt on you, Bindu should keep trusting you, he is so happy to know that you are ready to go there, Sushim says I know.. Charu says dont argue so much, you can say here that you are going to Takshshila but you wont go there, you will stay at some other place, here we will brag about you being fighting with problems here, Sushim thinks that I didnt get answer of my letter from Kichak, I cant wait now, I have to leave, he says okay I am ready to leave palace but you should teach lesson to Dharma, she can do anything as she is Ashok’s mother, Helena thinks Dharma wont sit quietly. Charu gets invitation, she says Dharma has organized dinner for Sushim before he leaves, Helena thinks what Dharma is upto. Dharma looks at glass and says it will take us to truth.

Ashok s finding Kaurvaki, Devrath comes to him and says you cant be roaming around like this, Ashok says Kaurvaki is here, I have to find her, Devrath says you should be thinking about whole nation, not only Kaurvaki, Ashok says she is in problem because of me and its my responsibility to save her, he leaves.

Soldiers are finding Kaurvaki, Kaurvaki hides in big basket, Soldier starts approaching that basket, Kaurvaki is tensed, soldier leave without seeing basket. Ashok comes there and starts finding Kaurvaki, Devrath comes there too, Ashok looks at basket and starts going towards it, kaurvaki sees him coming and is tensed, before Ashok could see basket, Devrath takes him from there.

Ashok says to Devrath that you should be helping me in saving her, Devrath says enough, you can take duty of saving her but I have duty of saving whole nation, this is my responsibility to protect Takshishila and brings it out of Kichak’s clutches, Bhavni have brought news, come with me.

Kaurvaki comes out of basket, someone puts net on her and takes her from there.

Bhavni tells Ashok and Devrath that Kichak’s new plan is to attack your camp (vidyala), I came here after much difficulty, She says I wont be able to come here again as Kichak have tighten security, she leaves, Ashok asks Devrath what we should do now? Devrath says we have protect vidyala, time will tell how much successful we will be.

Kaurvaki takes off net and sees man who recognized her as jagannath’s daughter, she is happy to see him, he says I saw you going towards Kichak’s palace, what were you doing? she says A Maurya became distraction in my path, I told him everything, because of him all are finding me, he says what you did, you told truth to a Maurya? if anyone gets to know that you are Kaling’s princess then Kichak will not leave you, you should leave from here, Karuvaki says I have not come here so far to go back empty handed, this is right time, Kichak’s attention is towards Ashok so I can free my father, I know this is selfishness but I dont have any other way, you have to help me so that I can go in Kichak’s palace, he says I know one way.

PRECAP- Kichak’s soldier shouts how dared to challenge me? Ashok comes there, soldier says you wont remain alive now, he brings out his sword and fights with Ashok but Ashok beats him, people beat him. Injured soldier comes to Kichak’s palace and tells Kichak that whole nation have become betrayers under Ashok’s guidance, Kichak is shocked listening this.

Episode 256 - 19th January 2016

Scene 1

Kaurvaki enters Kichak’s palace as dasi. Kaurvaki’s father is in jail, Kaurvaki thinks that I promise myself, I will bring my father out of this palace.

Ashok raises red flag on his center’s roof, he chants for his land alongwith others.

People are making weapons and giving their personal belongings to help in fight against Kichak, Ashoka plays.

Ashok comes doctor, doctor says what we will use when our people will get injured? Ashok recalls how Dharm used to use Kapor’s oil, he suggests it, doctor says yes it can be used, he writes it in list.

Ashok comes in kitchen, women are making food. He says to priest I know what I am doing is against rules, my mother is against violence but we dont have choice, if it was about me then I would have walked on non-violence path but its about whole nation and our enemy cant think about non-violent talks, it would have been good if you people had left from here to some secure place, priest says non-violence doesnt mean that we should leave people in problem, I am with you, did you get to know about Karuvaki? Ashok says no and in this situation, I cant find her.

Karuvaki comes in Kichak’s room who is lying down, she recalls how he pained her father, she is about to bring out dagger but Kichak asks why she is looking at him? she should be taking care of him, she is lucky to get chance, now put cream on my feet, Kaurvaki starts applying cream on his feet and is disgusted, Kichak kicks her away and says your hands have no power, its Kichak’s feet, not come princess feet, leave from here, Kaurvaki runs from there.

Kaurvaki says what I did, what if they throw me out of palace? I cant become weak, I got weak infront of Ashok and saw results of it, now I cant become weak, I will do anything to take my father away from here as I have no other choice.

People are practicing sword fighting, Devrath gives them tips, priest says I have always prayed to Lord then how can I start using these weapons? Ashok says you are right but we know self defense, even ant knows how to protect herself in problem then you people will have that too, my teacher Aakramak used to say that everyone finds way to fight, there should be difference in my way of attack than yours, you all should keep practicing then you will know how you can attack better.

Scene 2

Kaurvaki dodges dasi and sends her away, Kaurvaki comes in jail, soldier says give him food as he has to work daily else he will be given deth sentence from Kichak. Kaurvaki comes in jail and finds her father moving flour machine, she says papa.. he is happy to her, he says Kaurvaki? my daughter, Kaurvaki runs but he falls down due to chains in his feet, Kaurvaki gets tensed, he says my daughter is grown up now, he smiles.

Ashok says to Devrath that people trust me, they have hopes that I will free them from Kichak but I am tensed, we are trying but we are very less in numbers than Kichak’s force, Devrath says you are right but we have courage, will power and hope with us, yes we do need more soldiers, Ashok suggests if they should call more people from villages? he says my mother says unity has strength, Devrath says she is right, we will go to talk to Sarpanch, he leaves, Arjun comes and says I will go with you, I will try to find Kaurvaki, Ashok says but Kichak can doubt you, Arjun says I just want to serve you, please let me find her, Ashok thanks him, he says thank me when I find Kaurvaki, Ashok nods.

Kaurvaki makes her father eat food, he says even animals dont eat this kind of food, father says he wants to break us down, he has been trying this from a long time but from much time, I havent let y self respect break down and it will not happen, I wouldnt have been alive if I had broken and if I was not alive then I wouldnt be eating from my daughter’s hands and now I dont care about my death, Kaurvaki says nothing will happen to you, I promised mother to bring you back and I will take you back, he says no, my life is ending but you can do alot in life, I am sure you will achieve something, you have to handle your mother and brother too, I dont know how came here but I know its not possible to go out of here, Kaurvaki says nothing is impossible, I have gone out of this palace before too and tonight I will go out with you, I am not here to lose, you will go with me to Kaling for sure. Soldier comes and beats father, he asks him to go and work, Kaurvaki gets angry but father points her to control, father puts hand on her head, Kaurvaki starts leaving, both look at each other, soldier asks father to keep doing his work, Karuvaki thinks that I promised to take you from here tonight and I will fulfill that promise for sure.

Sushim touches Bindu’s feet, Bindu blesses him and hugs him, he asks Sushim to complete your brother’s work, give justice to Taskshshila’s people, Sushim says sure, I will do it, the people who have suffered, I will make sure to give them justice, Helena thinks that now I have to do something which can get Siamak people’s votes and support. Kasturi comes to Dharma and tells her something. Kasturi says I didnt get to know about whose bangles it was, someone sent me letter and said that he knows whose bangle it was and can also tell who attacked doctor’s house, Dharma asks when we can meet that person who told you all this? Kasturi says tonight, Dharma says tonight we will get proofs and I will prove to bindu that there is much more to Chanakya’s death mystery, Helene and Charu are shocked listening this.

Sushim says to Charu and Helena that if anyone tells Dharma that it was my bangle then she will connect me with fire incident, Siamak says you should have been careful, Sushim says if you had done something then you would know how difficult it is, Charu says no need to fight, we should make sure that Dharma shouldnt meet anyone who knows about us, Helena says if there is some person who knows about mystery then why Dharma is not telling this to Bindu? Sushim says I will go from here today but you people have to take care of Dharma, she is Ashok’s mother so can do anything, its good that she didnt tell anything to Bindu, Helena says tonight we will get to know truth that how much Dharma knows then we will play our next trick according to that.

Episode 257 - 20th January 2016

Scene 1

Devrath meets Sarpanch, Sarpanch says to Devrath that we helped you and now Kichak is more cruel to us, we cant help you now, Devrath says we need unity, we can fight them, Sarpanch says Kichak is taking more taxes from us, we cant help you, situation is more tense now, Ashok asks when Kichak’s soldier will come to take tax? Sarpanch says tomorrow.

Kaurvaki comes in jail, she frees her father, father says its impossible for me to go from here, Kaurvaki says in all these years, I have kept these hopes that you will comeback, for once trust my and mother’s hope that we will free you, father blesses Kaurvaki. Soldier listens noise and thinks to check in jail, Kaurvaki and father runs from there. Soldiers come in jail and doesnt find him there, they go to find him.

Kaurvaki is taking father, father asks where are we going? Kaurvaki recalls how Ashok saved her and took her out of palace from secret way, she says I know one secret way to go out of here and soldiers dont know about it, we have to find it.

Soldiers are finding them too. Kaurvaki finds secret door to go out, they are about to go out but soldier comes there and stop them with sword, Kaurvaki and father get tensed.

Kasturi says to Dharma that you shouldnt have come here, its dangerous, Dharma says the people who killed Chanakya should believe that we have got to know something thats why I came here, the one killed Chanakya will make sure that no witness to it remains alive. Charu and Helena are keeping eye on Dharma and waiting for the person who is gonna meet Dharma. Khalatak comes there too, Charu asks what he is doing here? he says if any witness is alive then I will be first one to get caught for murder, Helena says Dharma is making us fool, no one came to meet her, if you both want then you can wait here and keep eye on Dharma whole night, I dont think she knows anything. Kasturi says we have to be careful, Dharma thinks that I dont know how Ashok is able to cope with all this so alone and far away from me.

Scene 2

Kichak’s tax collector comes in village, he doesnt find anyone there and ask them to come out, he turns to find his soldiers dead, Kichak’s soldier shouts who dared to challenge me? who is the betrayer? Ashok comes there, Ashok says this is not betraying but fighting for Takshshila’s freedom, betrayer is you, soldier says you wont remain alive now, he brings out his sword and fights with Ashok but Ashok beats him, people come there, Ashok says you have done so much cruelty on people now you will get punished for it, people beat him.

Kaurvaki and father is brought in Kichak’s court, Kichak says you people of Kaling are fools, you thought that you can fool Kichak? he says to father should have told his daughter that she cant play with me, now I will punish her in such a way that her father wont be able to bear the pain of it, he comes near Kaurvaki, brings out his sword and is about to cut her head but father comes inbetween, Amatya comes there and says no, dont kill her, Kichak stops. Kaurvaki says bhudeshvar? he says no Amatya, he says I am in your league, Mauryas are my enemy too, Kaurvaki is confused.

Ashok says stop beating him, he says this soldier will be our answer to Kichak, he comes to soldier and puts black polish on his face and body, he heats stamp and puts it on his head, soldier screams, Ashok says tell your king that he can destroy people’s homes but not their hopes, he can attack their bodies but not their will, soldier is taken from there.

Amatya says to Kichak that this girl can become reason for our win, this is our chance to get victory and make Ashok lose, Kichak’s sister says my brother’s army can kill Ashok easily and we dont need this Kaurvaki, Kichak’s soldier comes there with his blackened face, sister says Bherav? (soldier’s name). Bherav tells Kichak that whole nation have become betrayers under Ashok’s guidance, Kichak is shocked, one soldier says we can stop their food then they wont be able to fight with us, Kichak says you can do anything with people but that Ashok is my target, first I will finish that Ashok then I will deal with people, before killing Ashok, I will end that trust which Ashok have instilled in people and this trust will end with cheating which Kaurvaki will do with Ashok, Karuvaki is shocked.

PRECAP- Amatya punishes Kaurvaki and says to Kaurvaki that you have keep feeding laddos to your father, if he stops eating then my soldier will hit arrow on his body and he will die, Kaurvaki offers laddos to her father, he doesnt eat, soldier is about to hit arrow but Karuvaki covers him and says to soldier that go and tell Amatya that I am ready to make deal with him.

Episode 258 - 21th January 2016

The citizens discuss what they should do in this situation. We dont need to trouble Prince Ashoka for this. He anyways has a lot to handle.

Ashoka thinks of Kaurvaki’s positive words. If it is a good ending then it certainly is an end, otherwise the story is yet to complete. He thinks I know that this story is incomplete.

Kaurvaki thinks of Ashoka. She wipes her tears upon noticing Amatya coming there. Amatya gives her a choice. You will get me info on Ashoka. I will free your father. Kaurvaki replies that she is not a coward to attack from behind. He is a Maurya but I will face him head on, if I have to. She is shocked to see the soldiers bringing her father inside just then. Amatya stops her from meeting him. I know you want to meet him, talk to him. After all you have met him after so many years. Will you not eat sweets? Amatya turns to Jagannath. You have become so thin over all the years. Kaurvaki should feed him laddoos. He will stay alive till the time he keeps eating laddoos. She is shocked. Please dont do it. He reminds her of the other option that he gave to her as well. He leaves. Kaurvaki looks at the laddoos. This has become poison for us now. She begins to feed laddoos to her father. She notices the soldier taking aim at her father from outside the jail. Amatya looks on.

The citizens practise sword fighting. Dadhich scolds a common man to stay away from him. You made me impure. Bhanu reasons that if they differentiate amongst one another on the basis of their caste while having one aim, then we wont be able to accomplish their goal ever.

A man tells Ashoka that Dhananjay took all the grains as you killed Bhairav. They all wonder how they will live without food, especially kids. Ashoka refuses to let the confidence of anyone break down. We have to assign a specific amount of food for everyone on the basis of the ration we have. Ashoka thinks of giving Bhante Anand the responsibility of managing their food store. Dadhich thinks of explaining it to Ashoka that the higher caste people should gain priority in this task.

A man throws kerosene oil at everything kept in the store room. Ashoka and the other people are on their way to the store room only. Ashoka notices a bit of oil outside. He walks curiously up till the gate. The man had lit a torch and attached it with ropes around the grain sacks. The torch falls as soon as Ashoka opens the gate. There is fire all around. Acharya Devrath demands to know who did this. Dadhich doubts on the insiders only. Bhanu says only those who want to still support Kichak can do this. Dadhich and Bhanu get into an argument. Ashoka calms them down. Kichak is wrong to think he will make us weak by snatching food from us. There is no place for weakness in my mission!

Jagannath keeps eating laddoos from Kaurvaki’s hands. She says at times I feel things would have been so easy had we not trusted Kichak that day. We are paying a heavy price to trust Maurya’s. Jagnnath says I wanted to bring a change in Magadh and Kaling. I wanted to bring peace between them. it was my mistake to accept Kichak’s proposal. I dont regret it though. I had no wrong intention. I am not scared to die anymore. It would have been sad had I been alive. Now you are here. You will be with me till my end. I can die peacefully now. He holds her hand so as to stop her from feeding him. Kaurvaki immediately hugs him. She asks the soldier not to hurt her father. Tell Amatya that I will do what Amatya has asked me to do. Jagannath advises her agianst it. You wont do anything that is against your wish. The soldiers take away Jagannath. Kaurvaki mentally apologizes to Ashoka. I had to choose between my father and enmity today. I chose my father. I had promised my mother that I will come back wiht my father only. My mission can be my primary concern if Ashoka’s aim can be his primary concern!

Ashoka wants to get the grains somehow. Dhananjay has kept a tight vigil on the same. On the other hand, Nayak assures Dhananjay that he will make sure Ashoka should not come here in the first place. If he does, he will not go back alive from here.

Ashoka thinks of a solution. Dhananjay loves ornaments and jewellery. Everyone smiles.

Two palanquins stop outside Dhananjay’s house. The solsiers check the palanquins well before allowing them inside. They have brought musical instruments with them too. The ladies come to a room. They ask the soldiers to leave them alone for a while. We have to get ready for the dance. The soldiers leave. Ashoka and a few kids come out of the instruments. Ashoka thanks the ladies. They too are happy to help him. The main dancer guides him towards the storage room.

Episode 259 - 22th January 2016

Dhananjay enjoys watching the ladies dance.

The kids wonder how they will go inside when the security is so tight. Ashoka says one has to become a mouse when they have to go somewhere stealthily. They smear black (coal or color) on their faces and bodies.

Nayak instructs the soldiers about their placement positions.

Ashoka asks the kids to wait for him at a corner. I will check the security around the storage room. Ashoka diverts the attention of the soldiers by making some noise. The kids come to take grains from the storage room as soon as Ashoka signals them.

Dhananjay hears some strange sound from outside.

The kids empty the storage room. They gather the entire load of grain sacks at one corner.

A soldier notices the empty drums outside. He gets suspicious and calls out for his comrades. Something is wrong here. I will have to inform Nayak. Ashoka thinks to stop them somehow. He asks the kids to wait for him at the same place. The kids are scared but Ashoka advises him not to lose out to his fear.

The soldier updates Nayak about what he has seen. Nayak immediately calls out for more soldiers. Search every corner. They must be around only. Close the main door. Ashoka gets thinking. He hits Nayak on his head using a barrel. Ashoka runs in the opposite direction. Nayak chases him. The kids get worried for Ashoka. Arjun wants to look for him but other kids stop him. The soldiers would have been celebrating if anything had happened to Ashoka BHaiya. We have to send these sacks out where others are waiting. We will help Ashoka BHaiya this way. The kids climb up a tree. They signal the other men, who are already waiting with a cart. The kids throw the sacks down one by one. The men load it in the cart.

A soldier informs Dhananjay about finding empty drums at one corner. Quite possibly, Ashoka and his friends came to steal the grains. Nayak has ordered everyone to check every corner to look for them. Dhananjay angrily holds the neck of the main dancer. You helped Ashoka gain entrance inside? He stabs her. The other two ladies are arrested as well.

Outside, Ashoka fights with the soldiers. He is happy to see the kids already doing their work. Splendid job! The kids finish their work. Ashoka joins them. We have to leave now.

Nayak thinks to find Ashoka at any cost today. It will be an insult to my ancestors’ vow. He notices Ashoka climbing up the tree. He throws his sword at him but Ashoka jumps to the other side safely. Dhananjay gets to know that it was Ashoka only. Nayak vows to find Ashoka today itself. He would not have gone too far.

The cart containing the food supply leaves. Ashoka and his men put a huge stone outside the main door. Nayak tries to push open the door but in vain.

Dhananjay is shocked to see his store room empty. He finds a letter from Ashoka there. I term everyone, who helps Kichak, a traitor. Because of the same reason, Dhananjay will be punished! Dhananjay and Nayak are angry.

Dharma and her Daasi discuss about who could be the possible culprit. Maybe Radha Gupta knows who the enemies were. Dharma recalls someone who might help them. Charu overhears their convo.

Everyone cheers happily for Ashoka. Ashoka gives credit to the kids who accompanied him. With the same devotion and bravery, we will defeat Kichak too. A mother of one of the kids happily hugs her son. Ashoka misses his mother. The lady lovingly pats at Ashoka’s face as well. He gets emotional.

Charu notices Dharma sitting alone in her room. She blows out one diya and drops the oil on the floor. Dharma rushes in that direction upon hearing some noise. She slips down because of the spilled oil and screams in pain. Charu looks on from a distance.

Precap: Kichak is about to hurt Dhananjay but Nayak stops him. I am to be blamed. I failed in doing my job. Kichak asks him if he is supporting Ashoka. Amatya advises Kichak not to waste his efforts and energy on small things. He is very sensitive. That is his weakness. We have to hurt him on that front only. His letter has paved way of his downfall.

Episode 261 - 26th January 2016

Ashoka says I have full faith that the enemies will come stealthily. They will make every effort to break open the two entrances. He assigns people to stand guard on different gates. Dadhich wants to stand with someone he knows already. Ashoka asks him if he is their enemy. Bhanu points out that Dadhich thinks highly of himself. Dadhich agrees. We have a higher position in the society. Ashoka asks Bhalla to give his hand. He makes a cut on his palm and does the same with his. He joins the palms together. Which blood is his, Dadhich? I cannot see it. Please help me if you can see it. If we all will think like that then we will be no different than Kichak. Why are we fighting then? We have to kill our ill thoughts first which make us talk highly of ourselves? It creates discrimination amongst us only. You should decide which fight you want to win.

Kaurvaki feels bad for misunderstanding Ashoka. I am doing the same with him that the Mauryas did! Ashoka stands with Kaurvaki. They see the enemy army coming there. Kaurvaki offers to fight along with Ashoka. Will you be able to trust me? He replies that he has already won half of the battle if he has a friend like her by his side. Kichak’s army attacks Vishwavidyalaya just then. Both sides get into a fight. A soldier was about to attack Ashoka from behind but Kaurvaki kills him. Ashoka smiles. He thinks of doing something fast or they wont be able to defeat such a big army. He makes a blast. The soldiers run away in fear. Dhananjay looks on tensed.

Kaurvaki looks at the destruction created by the attack. So many people lost their lives. I decided to help Kichak but I had no idea so many innocent people will have to lose their lives.

Dhananjay tells Kichak and Amatya that for a minute they thought Kaurvaki was actually on Ashoka’s side. But time proved otherwise. Kichak says with time one will realise.

Ashoka thanks Kaurvaki for informing him on time. We could save so many lives because of you. You will see gratitude in their eyes. Acharya Devrath says fate helped us this time. But it is not a surety every time. Dadhich and another guy remark that their army is weak right now, and hurt too. We might not be able to stand against Kichak’s army. Ashoka talks positively. I have no place for fear in my life. It will be impossible to defeat Kichak if we get scared. He will not be able to win if we stick to our ground. We have nothing to lose but our confidence and bravery. I will have to make sure Kichak does not take it away from us. To achieve my mission, I will have to fight with every person who supports Kichak.

Kaurvaki leaves to meet Amatya. He compliments her on her bravery. She feels bad for putting the lives of innocent people in risk. He does not care. They should have thought before supporting Ashoka. He gives her fake assurance that it wont happen again. I only need Ashoka. It is very important for him to step out of Vishwavidyalaya. I want to know what he is planning. Think of the moment you will be united with your father and mother. She leaves from there.

Ashoka and his men do the last rites of the martyrs. Ashoka thinks of the consequences of the fight. Acharya Devrath tells him to rest for a while. Ashoka leaves. Acharya Devrath notices someone coming back inside the Vishwavidyalaya. He thinks he might be mistaken but he finds a pearl lying there. Was someone trying to overhear our convo? Is there a traitor amongst us?

Episode 262 - 27th January 2016

Dharma and his Daasi talk about Bhadrabhat. The Daasi shares that Bhadrabhat got scared when I told him you wanted to meet him. He got all the more scared when I spoke about Acharya Chanakya’s death. Dharma says he certainly knows something important. Daasi asks her how it will be possible. Rajmata is not leaving your side. Dharma says God will help me find a way.

Ashoka says we will have to be very alert now. Our every step should be well calculated. Kaurvaki is keeping an eye on them from a distance. Acharya Devrath hears the sound of her anklets. He asks aloud who is there. She composes herself. I brought lep for Ashoka but you are preparing for your fight. What will a Kalinga’s princess do here? Ashoka stops here. No one is a Maurya or from Kalinga here. We all are planning against Kichak together here. We have to first kill Dhananjay and should find every detail about his movements. Kaurvaki offers to do it. I will go in disguise. Acharya Devrath tells her against it. Everyone recognizes her. The soldiers will be alerted as soon as they see her. We need someone on whom no one will doubt. Dadhich offers to do it. Being a Purohit, no one will doubt on me. Ashoka and Acharya Devrath agree. You are wounded. Someone should accompany you. Dadhich takes Bhola’s name. He walks next to Bhola. Nothing happened to me in yesterday’s attack as you were with me. I will stay safe again if you will come along. He hugs Bhola. Kaurvaki thinks she knows she is going against the right but she is compelled. I wish I had another option and could help Ashoka!

Bindusar tends to Dharma’s wound. She shakes her head but he says I can do this much for the one who I love dearly. He can see that she is tensed. Is something bothering you? Rajmata comes there before Dharma can say anything. Dharma lies that she is worried about their child. Can we organize a puja for our unborn baby? The last puja remained incomplete last time. Bindusar agrees. I have already lost one kid by being careless. I cannot lose another. Dharma mentally apologizes to him for not telling him the truth. Rajmata smiles.

Charu tells Rajmata Dharma has something else in her mind on the pretext of a puja. Rajmata says I will make sure she reaches no clue.

Dharma tells her Daasi this is just a medium to safeguard her unborn baby. We will get it God’s blessings and also find a way to reach the killer of Acharya Chanakya.

Kaurvaki finds the route she uses busy. She thinks to write a letter to Amatya. She writes a letter giving every info of Ashoka’s next move. She hides it as soon as Ashoka comes in the room. She lies to him that she was trying to find a cure for people’s illness. He thanks her for helping them. You proved my faith right. He points out at the side from where she will find the desired info. Kaurvaki is tensed to see him looking for something in the room. He asks her if something happened. Kaurvaki thanks him for trusting her when no one trusted her. He apologizes to her for hiding his identity from her. I know I hurt you but it was unintentional. The situation was such that I had to wait for the right time to tell you my truth. I did not want to lose you so I kept quiet when you told me your truth. I thought to tell you when I defeat Kichak but Acharya Devrath told everyone about my identity before that. She tells him to let bygones be bygones. He picks up the book in which she had hid the letter. I was looking for this only. He begins to go but she goes after him, trying to stop him.

The puja is going on. Daasi asks Bhadrabhat to wait. I will call Rani Dharma. Bhadrabhat looks around tensed. Daasi hides upon noticing another Daasi standing nearby. She quietly signals Dharma. Dharma excuses herself. She asks a Daasi about the rest of the Prasad. Rajmata comes back after hearing it. The Daasi returns alone with Prasad. Rajmata gets worried.

Kaurvaki takes the book from Ashoka. You should eat food first. You have to take care of yourself so you can protect others. He agrees. She stands holding the book in her hand.

Dharma meets Bhadrabhat. I know you lied in the Sabha. It is impossible that the Acharya, who could understand any problem from a distance, did not say anything to you! Who did Acharya Chanakya doubt upon? Was it a member from the royal family? He declines knowing anything. She tells him she gives him a last chance or he will be called a traitor. He repeats he knows nothing. He notices someone overhearing their convo and hastily leaves from there. Dharma is sure Bhadrabhat is certainly hiding something. Was someone listening to our convo? Who could it be? She notices a shadow and hears the sound of anklets. She begins to follow the person.

Ashoka has finished eating. He takes the book back from her after thanking her. Kaurvaki got the letter out of the book before that. I have no other option to safeguard my father’s life.

Dharma chases the person’s shadow. A lady appears to be attacking someone with a dagger. She runs from there in fear. Dharma is all shaken up in her room. She dropped her jewellery while running. There is a small note waiting for her on the desk. There is a bloodied ornament as well. She reads it. The one who can enter inside your palace and room can do anything. Forget the past. If you say anything to Samrat then the weapon will not miss its aim next time. She thinks to tell Samrat everything when she notices the blood on the note. Rajmata looks on from a distance. She pays money to the Daasi who brought Prasad in the hall previously. Rajmata thinks Dharma needs her now. I should now spend some time with her. She laughs evilly.

Episode 263 - 28th January 2016

Kaurvaki floats her message through a gutter as a boat. A soldier gets it on the way.

Amatya reads Kaurvaki’s message before Kichak. Ashoka will get Dhananjay. His mission only will become the reason of his doom. I want to meet Kaurvaki. Send her a message right away.

Kaurvaki gets a signal from Amatya. Why is he calling me now? I have informed him about Ashoka’s next move. Has he not received my message? How do I go out from here now? If I don’t then he might hurt my father.

Ashoka is training everyone for battle. He points out the most sensitive part of body for everyone. Everyone looks intently. Ashoka advises them to attack on these points before the enemy can hurt them. Kaurvaki adds that if they lack rest then the enemy will anyways win. Ashoka replies that one should not waste time in taking rest when the enemy is hovering over your head. Kaurvaki challenges him for a sword fight. He too picks up a sword. She diverts his attention and aims the sword at his neck. He calls it cheating. She remarks that it is ok when one has to win. You have lost. You should take some rest. Ashoka agrees. He sends everyone to have food. Kaurvaki is about to head out of that place but stops. Acharya Devrath looks at her. She thinks not to attract anyone’s attention and goes from there. Acharya Devrath wonders if he doubts Kaurvaki for no reason. When he is gone, Kaurvaki goes out from the same path.

A cart waits outside for Kaurvaki. She does not want to create a doubt on anyone’s mind but is helpless. She sits in the cart.

Dhananjay is walking the market. He decides to go to a village near the mountains tonight to collect tax from there. Dadhich and Bhola are following him. Dhananjay comes inside a room. He tells the soldiers to follow Amatya’s orders. Dadhich and Bhola wait to attack.

Kaurvaki comes to the palace. She stops to earesdrop on Kichak and Amatya’s convo. Amatya thinks Ashoka will try to hurt Dhananjay if he wants to kill him. We should capture him just then. We have to make sure Ashoka’s men don’t take a short route to reach that village. It will actually help Ashoka as the people of that village are against you. They will only help Ashoka. Kichak senses someone’s presence. Kaurvaki steps forward. He says you are doing a good job. Keep telling us about Ashoka’s movements and your father will be free. She points out that it is risky to come out of Vishwavidyalaya. Kichak says you have to do one last thing for us. Ashoka is planning to kill Dhananjay. Give him a message. Tonight will be the best time to kill Dhananjay when he will try to go to another town through the mountains. The moment Ashoka comes there he will be caught. Your father will be free the very next moment. Amatya says we only need Ashoka. Kaurvaki points out that Ashoka will never get out alone. There will be many innocent people with him. Amatya says we wont do anything to them. Kaurvaki goes from there relieved.

Kichak is angry with Amatya for saying so. How will they be innocent if they support Ashoka! Amatya reasons that there will be no rebellions once Ashoka is gone.

Dharma wakes up with a start as she sees a bad dream about Ashoka. Bindusar and Rajmata come there. Dharma shares that she saw someone killing Ashoka. Rajmata tells Bindu that Dharma has still not gotten over her son’s loss. I would suggest you to think once again. She will keep thinking about Ashoka if she stays here. Dharma says I will get fine. Don’t separate me from Samrat. Bindu too says the same. You should stay calm. Dharma wonders how do I tell you I wont be at peace anywhere else. Bindu insists.

Arjun teases Ashoka when he asks him about Kaurvaki. They notice wounded Dadhich and Bhola coming there. Who did this? Dadhich and Bhola tell him whatever happened at Dhananjay’s place. The soldiers had surrounded them and beaten them badly. They had no weapon with them at that time. Bhola still kills one soldier. They share that Dhananjay knew beforehand that we will attack him. Someone had informed him about us already. He took us to a place form where he could escape, not us! Ashoka says how it can be. It was a secret. Acharya Devrath points out that it is possible only when there is a traitor between us. Ashoka wonder who that person could be. Kaurvaki mentally apologizes for Dadhich and Bhola’s condition.

Acharya Devrath wants to figure out how Dhananjay got to know about their secret attack. Ashoka wants to do something asap or people will lose confidence once again. Maybe Dhananjay noticed Bhola and Dadhich. Why should we doubt on our own people! We will do what we have decided to do.

Kaurvaki is by the riverside. She thinks of Amatya’s and her mother’s words. She is in a fix. Who will you choose – Magadh’s citizens who mean nothing to you or your father! Kaurvaki cannot lose her father. Her inner self tells her to live with the guilt of separating too many innocent families. You very well know what Kichak will do to everyone once Ashoka is dead. You may not accept it but Ashoka is on the right path. No one will trust Kalinga because of what you are doing. Will your father accept it? It is up to now, what will Kalinga be know for – being selfish or for helping others!

Precap: A lady informs Acharya Devrath that Kichak and Amatya used Kaurvaki to bring Ashoka to a certain place. Save Ashoka before it is too late. Ashoka and his men are somewhere. The place is completely deserted. They hear someone approaching and run. Acharya Devrath and his team are on their way. He hopes he is not too late by the time he reaches Ashoka!

Episode 264 - 29th January 2016

Ashoka and his team plan on how to attack Dhananjay while he is heading towards the town. Acharya Devrath tells about the two paths to be used to reach there. Kaurvaki suggests taking the jungle route. Dhananjay would have got security on the main route. The jungle will be easy to escape. We can hide there easily. The people of that town are against Kichak anyways. It will help us. Someone asks Kaurvaki how she knows this. Kaurvaki recalls overhearing Kichak and Amatya’s convo. She dismisses the question somehow. Acharya Devrath tries to overlook it but Kaurvaki requests him to trust her. Ashoka announces that they will leave right away using the jungle path. We will attack Dhananjay as soon as we spot him. They all say Jai Janani in chorus.

Dharma has a condition before going for pilgrimage. I don’t want soldier to accompany me. Bindusar finally agrees. I will send a few such people who don’t have a responsibility towards their family. I wil make arrangements for you to leave tonight. He leaves. Kasturi tells Dharma she has got everything that was asked by her. Dharma thanks her. You have helped me a lot in everything. Inform Samrat if you find any clue about Acharya Chanakya’s death in my absence. Kasturi agrees.

Kichak asks Amatya how he can assume Kaurvaki can cheat us. Amatya replies that good people have a habit of sacrificing themselves but not others. She wont be able to see any innocent people dying before her. This is why I intentionally said all that. I knew she will have a change of heart and begin to help Ashoka. I only wanted to see it. This is the reason why I gave that info to her about rebellions living in that town. She will tell it to Ashoka.

Ashoka looks at all the men bidding adieu to their family. Acharya Devrath reminds him to come back alive to achieve his last goal. You have to stay alive to fight with Kichak. He blesses Ashoka. Kaurvaki does Ashoka’s aarti. He promises her that she will do her father’s tilak real soon. They all say Jai Janani. Kaurvaki mentally apologizes to her father for doing what she felt was right. I could not become selfish.

Ashoka takes the jungle route to reach that village.

Kichak remarks Kaurvaki’s face will be worth watching when she will understand her folly, when she will realise she ended everything by cheating Kichak!

Ashoka finds the town empty. He tells his men to spread around and be on guard.

Kichak says Ashoka will realise his mistake he did by trusting Kaurvaki. He was very arrogant about the fact that he can escape from any problem. Now he will understand he has determined doom for himself and his men.

Ashoka finds the place completely deserted. On the other hand, Amatya says it will be too late by the time Ashoka realises what he has gotten himself into.

Ashoka announces that they all should leave from here asap. They hear someone approaching and kill that person using a spear. It wasn’t Dhananjay but someone else. Ashoka points out that it was a trap. A lot of soldiers surround them from all the sides. Dhananjay also comes there. These people will kill me? I did not expect such follishness from you. I am amazed at your father that he sent you to Takshshila! Ashoka challenges him for a fight but Dhananjay is least interested. My soldiers are enough to kill all of you. Ashoka and his men engage in a fight with the soldiers. Dhananjay gets scared to see his soldiers dying by the hands of Ashoka and his men. Arjun gets ready to attack Dhananjay from behind. Soldiers catch hold of him. Dhananjay slits his throat before Ashoka’s eyes. I hate mice. Ashoka tries to shoot a spear at him but the soldiers save him. Ashoka kills them angrily.

Amatya says who will trust Kaurvaki’s intentions. Her cheating will shake everyone’s trust. I will destroy Ashoka. That will be my victory over Chanakya! They hear the sound of anklets but see no one when they look around.

All the ladies are praying for Ashoka and his men. Kaurvaki thinks Kichak will understand she has cheated him when he finds out Ashoka chose the easier route. He will surely punish Baba. Maybe there is a way to safeguard Baba.

Bhami informs Acharya Devrath that Kichak and Amatya used Kaurvaki to bring Ashoka to a certain place. Save Ashoka before it is too late. Kaurvaki hears it as well. It means Amatya knew I was listening to his convo. I did what I did not want to do! Ashoka is in a very big problem.

Precap: Ashoka asks Kaurvaki if she knew what was going to happen here. Were you in this? She says I did not know what they were going to do. He says you had enmity with Maurya’s. You should have done something against me. Why put the lives of innocent people in trouble? He picks up his sword. You will have to pay a price for cheating us!

Episode 265 - 1st February 2016

People from both the sides get killed in the fight. Ashoka gets angry upon seeing his innocent men dying. A soldier throws a spear at Ashoka when his ally steps in between. Ashoka holds him as he falls. Ashoka recalls seeing his with his mother before they left for here. Save Ashoka even if you have to die for him. Ashoka angrily kills every soldier that comes in his way. Dhananjay looks scared. This place is not safe. I want to see Ashoka dying before my eyes. I will leave then only. A soldier assures him he will give him a proof of Ashoka’s death. Dadhich falls down due to his wounds and so does Bhola. Ashoka looks on stunned and heartbroken. Dadhich and Bhola hold hands as they breathe their last. Yet again, Ashoka is surrounded by a lot many soldiers. He holds a sword in his each hand and kills them all with the help of one of his guys. The guy gets killed as well but he manages to kill a few more soldiers before dying! He gives a message for his kids to Ashoka. Tell them that their father died a heroic death. Ashoka looks around at all the dead bodies of his friends. He stands shaken and hurt. One soldier from the opponent side tries to stealthily approach Ashoka when Kaurvaki shoots him down. Acharya Devrath and his team are on their way. Ashoka looks at Kaurvaki.

Dharma keeps her hands around the diya which is wavering because of the winds. She folds her hands before the Lord’s idol. No one can understand the expectant trouble on Ashoka which I can feel. I have come to you as you know everything. Please save my son. He is following the path of dharma. There will be problems. Hope he makes no sin unknowingly which he can never undo. Please take care of him. Bindusar comes to tell her it is time for her to leave. Forgive me I cannot accompany you because of the present situation. I have to give importance to duty instead of dharma. She does understand his dilemma. It is good for our son to be born in a place where such rules are followed. He says I will wait for you. She nods. I will be back soon. They share a hug.

Ashoka asks Kaurvaki if she knew what was going to happen here. Were you involved in this? She says I did not know what they were going to do. He says you had enmity with Maurya’s and me. You should have done something against me. Why put the lives of innocent people at stake? She says she did not know that. He asks her if she did not know these people are innocent and no nothing about war. I hid the truth from you and vice versa. I did not say anything against your father though. I understood your viewpoint. I thought to help you without saying anything to save your father. I trusted you. You cheated me and all of my allies. They had accepted you open heartedly. He shows her the dead bodies of the individuals and explains what all they have done for her. What will I say to their family members? I was wrong to have trusted you. I had vowed to save them, but today because of you, I have their blood in my hands. Acharya Devrath kept telling me but I listened to you more than him! You will have to pay for cheating us! He picks up his sword and walks towards her. He angrily hits the sword in the ground. I have not learnt how to attack women, kids and innocent people. She tells him to go ahead. It will be difficult to live with the guilt of killing all these people. It is true that insided with Kichak to free my father. I soon realised what risk I am putting those innocent people’s lives into. He tells her to shed these crocodile tears before Kichak. I don’t trust you at all!

Acharya Devrath supports Kaurvaki. She did not want all this to happen. She was trying to help us. She herself had no idea Kichak and Amatya were using her. Ashoka asks him how he knows this. Acharya Devrath replies that Bhami herself told him everything. Kaurvaki explains what she had witnessed in the court. He still refuses to trust Kaurvaki. You can repeat this if you could do this once. I had thought we will create a new histroy by bringing Magadh and Kalinga together. I thought we will fulfil my Acharya’s dream of united India together. I was wrong. I dont want it anymore. You should leave right away! Dont insult this pious motherland by staying here.

Kaurvaki sadly leaves from there. Ashoka screams out in anguish.

Precap: Ashoka has vowed to kill Dhananjay at any cost. Amatya thinks not to attack Ashoka. He himself said he will kill himself if he fails in killing Dhananjay by the end of the day. People wonder how Ashoka will reach Dhananjay by the end of today.

Episode 266 - 2nd February 2016

Dhananjay happily shares Ashoka’s situation at the fight. He was stunned and lost so many people in it. Kichak’s sister appreciates his brother’s move. Kichak says till the time I see his dead body I wont believe it he is dead! A rumour about his death has floated once as well. Amatya says his family is in deep grief after hearing the rumour about Ashoka’s death. We will kill them after killing Ashoka. Kichak wants to hold a celebration.

Kaurvaki enters. Kichak appreciates her for all that she has done. You will be given a prize for this victory.

Ashoka thinks of his mother’s words and of his promise to his mother (no innocent person will die in the process). He angrily picks up a spear. Acharya Devrath calls out for him. Feelings cannot be the reason behind a decision. He sends a few people after him to stop him.

Kaurvaki is brought where Jagannath is kept. Kichak remarks she did make them reach Ashoka yet they were cheated by her. Tomorrow, we will punish you and your father in front of everyone. Everyone should understand no one can defeat or cheat Kichak. Ashoka loudly calls out for Kichak. Everyone goes out to see except Kaurvaki. She hugs her father but the soldiers take her away.

A bloodied spear waits for Kichak and his allies. Kichak pulls out the note attached to it. Your negative countdown has begun. I told you I am your death. You can run away from me but cannot save yourself from me. Kichak heads outside. Ashoka is still standing there. Kichak and Ashoka glare at each other.

Ashoka says I could have killed you today only if I wanted. I could have hurt you with the spear only. But I wont give you easy death. I will defeat you first. From today onwards you will fear your death. You used Dhananjay against me and to kill so many innocent people. I will kill him first. You will realise how much my people mean to me. I vow to kill him by tomorrow evening. I will kill myself if I fail in doing so! Dhananjay looks scared. Kichak orders his soldiers to catch Ashoka. He beats them and leaves on his horse. A few soldiers chase him but in vain.

Kichak looks at the bloodied spear. I cannot bear this anymore! His sister tries to stop him but in vain. Amatya steps forward. He refuses to move aside. Destruction is complete when the timing for lightning in right!

Acharya Devrath says you took this decision in anger but it could mean a big danger to everyone. Ashoka says I could not sit back and see everything. You were not there. I saw Arjun dying before my eyes. Everyone’s bodies are asking me to take revenge. Acharya Devrath reasons they will do it with patience. Ashoka replies he could not.

Amatya remarks feelings are the biggest mistake of any warrior. Ashoka is doing the same mistake. Chanakya is no more. Ashoka cannot see anything without any guidance. Kichak points out that Ashoka is not weak. He reached here without any support. Amatya reminds him that Ashoka has vowed to kill Dhananjay at any cost. We should not to attack Ashoka. He himself said he will kill himself if he fails in killing Dhananjay by the end of the day.

Acharya Devrath has no idea how to find out what Kichak is doing to protect Dhananjay. He must have appointed his best soldiers. Ashoka says it isn’t about my life today but of the trust everyone das on me. Another Ashoka can replace me tomorrow but their trust will never be replaced if I back down now.

Kichak talks about hiding Dhananjay in the most secretive room of his house. There is only one entry and exit point of that particular room.

Acharya Devrath says Bhami came last time after lot of difficulty. We cannot exactly figure out what Kichak will do to protect Dhananjay.

Kaurvaki listens to Kichak and Amatya’s convo.

People wonder how Ashoka will reach Dhananjay by the end of today. A lady shares she is sad she does not have another son who can die for Ashoka. Every mother of Takshshila is feeling a similar emotion today. She blesses Ashoka. He decides to use Kichak’s method against him only. They used Kaurvaki. We too have to find the weakest link of Kichak. I know who that person is!

Agnibahu exaggerates his meeting with Ashoka before the ladies. He panics as soon as a man walks inside his room with a sword. His face is blocked by the shade. The ladies run for safety. Agnibahu tries to hide but in vain. Agnibahu falls on the floor as Ashoka (dressed in disguise of a soldier) pulls him by putting a rope around his neck. Ashoka calls himself Yamraj. Your survival will depend on the fact if you help me. Where is Dhananjay? Agnibahu deduces it is Ashoka. He declines knowing anything about Dhananjay.

Kichak says this secret will come out after everyone after sunset. I want you (Amatya) to be with me all the time. Amatya asks him if he doubts him. What will I gain by cheating you? Kichak calls it a precaution. Kaurvaki thinks to tell Ashoka before Kichak reaches for her.

Ashoka tells Agnibahu to find out if he does not know. You have no other option if you wish to live. We don’t have much time. Be quick. Agnibahu agrees. Ashoka says I will also accompany you. Agnibahu thinks Ashoka is too anxious to die. He will die before sunset itself this way!

Precap: Kichak advises Agnibahu to tie something on Dhananjay. Ashoka is there only, dressed as a soldier. KIchak asks him if they have met previously as well. Ashoka replies he is not that important that he will remember him.

Episode 267 - 3th February 2016

Agnibahu and Ashoka (in the disguise of a soldier) are outside the palace. Agnibahu mutters to Ashoka that he is getting himself in trouble. Ashoka pokes him to move ahead. Agnibahu enters inside the palace along with Ashoka. Agnibahu introduces Ashoka to other soldiers as his bodyguard. I need safety.

Kaurvaki runs in the palace.

Ashoka hears the sound of the bell. I don’t have much time now. Hurry up!

Kaurvaki sits in a place. She tears a piece of her cloth and hurts her hand. She writes a note using her own blood for Ashoka. She gets tensed as she hears the sound of approaching footsteps.

Ashoka tells Agnibahu not to show his fear before Kichak. Agnibahu hopes his Mahanayak is not in a foul mood.

Kichak and Amatya continue to look for Kaurvaki. Kaurvaki hits a soldier on his head and heads towards the balcony. She signals some pigeons. Kichak and Amatya hear the sound. Ashoka too senses it. Agnibahu tells him not to stop after hearing every sound. Mahanayak Kichak will get a doubt on you this way.

Kaurvaki talks to Titli (a pigeon). I was sure you will come to help me. Maybe we became friends for this day only. Give my message to Ashoka. He is in Vishwavidyalaya. Titli flies away.

Ashoks asks for Kichak. I did not come here to roam around the palace. Where is Kichak!

Kichak and Amatya come to where Kaurvaki is. What were you trying to do? The soldiers have shot down Titli. They give the message to Kichak. Kichak angrily slaps Kaurvaki. He pulls out his sword to kill her but Amatya intervenes. Her life is more important for us. Ashoka will not come to kill Dhananjay but he will certainly come to save her. Kichak does not want to leave her alive anymore. Amatya agrees. We will kill her when she is of no use to us. Till then, punish her such that she stays alive! Kichak screams out in anger.

Agnibahu hears Kichak’s scream. He advises Ashoka to leave. Ashoka refuses to go. A soldier greets them just then. Agnibahu asks him about Kichak. They get to know Kichak is headed towards the prison.

All the citizens of Takshshila pray to Lord Shiva. They are worried for Ashoka. We have no news of him so far. Did he get to meet Kichak or not!

Kichak has tied Kaurvaki as well. You share a weird relation. The daughter had come to save her father but now I will punish her in such a way that her father wont be able to see it! Jagannath requests him to free Kaurvaki. She speaks the same for her Baba. Punish me not my Baba. Kichak agrees to do what Jagannath is saying. He drops the hunter before Jagannath and frees his hands. Pick it up and punish your daughter on your own! Jagannath begs him to kill him. Don’t punish me this way. Please let her go. Kichak insists. Jagannath pleads for his daughter. Kichak stays put. Jagannath declines. I wont be able to do it. Kichak calls it easy. He hits Kaurvaki using it. I will show you it isn’t difficult. He hits her when she shouts Jai Janani. Ashoka and Agnibahu stop in their tracks as they hear her. Ashoka wonders who is the rebel here. Agnibahu is all the more worried for Kichak’s anger at the moment. This is not the right time to ask him anything.

Amatya tells Jagannath about her closeness to Ashoka. Kichak adds they are fighting together against me. I gave her an option to free you but she chose to help him. Ashoka and Agnibahu reach there and witness it all. Kaurvaki agrees. This is truth. Ashoka’s death will end the trust and dreams of the citizens of Takshshila. They dream of a united India. Ashoka is fighting for the innocent people. His fight is against adharma and injustice. I will give any sacrifice to make him win. Jagannath tells her to stop. You are helping Bindusar’s son! You forgot he backstabbed your father. Kaurvaki reasons Ashoka is different. Jagannath questions her relation with Ashoka. You have started to love him, right? You put my life in risk for Maurya’s! I would have been proud of you if you would have done something like that for Kalinga! Amatya adds fuel to fire. Jagannath says my daughter cannot be a traitor. Apologize for helping Ashoka! She reminds him of his words. Don’t even bow down before God when you aren’t guilty. I don’t think I did any mistake by helping Ashoka. Ashoka is all emotional. Jagannath hits her with hunter. Kaurvaki says Jai Janani all along. Ashoka is pained and angry to see her in pain. He pushes Agnibahu ahead. Jagannath falls down on the floor helpless and broken.

Kichak is surprised to see Agnibahu there. Kichak wants to know who this soldier (Ashoka) who is looking him directly in the eye is. Look down! Ashoka angrily makes a fist. Agnibahu adds he cannot bow down his head. There is some problem in his back since birth. The same is with his family. Kichak is amused. Why did you come here? Agnibahu talks about meeting a very old sage in some area. He gave me something to be worn by you. The one who wear is will become immortal. He cooks up some story. Amatya checks it. He lies to pretend he is very knowledgeable. Kichak advises him to give it to Dhananjay right now. He needs it more. Agnibahu says I don’t know where he is.

Precap: Acharya Devrath wonders if Ashoka will be able to accomplish in his mission or if he will die in the process. The soldiers hurt Ashoka.

Episode 268 - 4th February 2016

Agnibahu gets to hear about Dhananjay’s location in his ear. The soldier (Ashoka) is made to stand at a distance. Kaurvaki mumbles for water. Ashoka feeds her water. She recognizes him. Kichak and Amatya hear her. Kichak questions the soldier. Whose permission did you take before feeding her water? Ashoka replies she is important for him which is why she has been kept alive. I gave her water for the very same reason. Kichak calls him clever. Ashoka says I am trying to learn something under you. Kichak is intrigued by him. Have we met before as well? Ashoka replies that he is not that important to be remembered by him! Agnibahu and Ashoka leave from there. Kaurvaki is in tears.

Ashoka catches up with Agnibahu. He thanks Agnibahu for saving him. You could have told the truth to Kichak if you wanted. Agnibahu clears that he saved himself by hiding him from Kichak. He signals him to come.

Dhananjay waits impatiently for the evening to end. He is sure Ashoka will fall in his own trap. I have never waited for sunset like this ever before.

Acharya Devrath and his allies pray for Ashoka.

Agnibahu and Ashoka head towards the place where Dhananjay has been kept.

Dhananjay is sure Ashoka will die anyways today if he comes here or not! Ashoka enters in that tower. A lot many soldiers come there upon noticing them.

Kichak asks Jagannath to stop. Hurt your daughter. Kaurvaki says nothing will happen by hurting me. If I was in your place then I would have put all my strength in saving the one who will be killed today. Maybe you have realised your defeat already. Jagannath hits her.

Agnibahu explains he has been sent by Mahanayak Kichak. The soldiers begin to chant Jai Kichak once Agnibahu says so. It angers Ashoka. He removes his moustache and shouts Jai Janani. Dhananjay hears him too. He asks a soldier to check what’s happening outside. Ashoka and the soldier get into a fight.

Acharya Devrath it is important for Ashoka to win today so that all the people can win!

Ashoka kills every soldier that comes in his way. He forces Agnibahu to come along. There is a room upstairs. Ashoka breaks it open. Dhananjay is pacing inside. He is scared to see Ashoka. Ashoka tells him the sunset is still due. A soldier attacks him from behind before Ashoka can hurt Dhananjay. Ashoka points out that backstabbing is his rule. Dhananjay says there is no rule in war. Victory means everything. You will lose today. Ashoka still says Jai Janani as he falls on the ground.

Kichak laughs thinking the future of Magadh and Maurya went into darkness today only.

Agnibahu wants to hurt Ashoka but Dhananjay stops him. Let the world see him losing. If we kill him then he will be considered a hero. Agnibahu still wishes to kill him. Dhananjay says Mahanayak wants him alive!

Dhananjay makes a few soldiers lift Ashoka. Open your eyes and see your defeat!

The sun is setting.

Acharya wonders if Ashoka will be able to accomplish his mission or if he will die in the process. Everything depends on Ashoka’s actions.

Ashoka looks at the setting sun.

Amatya points out only a little time is left in sunset. Kichak anxiously waits for the reply from the tower. A soldier informs Kichak they are not getting any reply from the tower. We sent many signals/messages there but there has been no revert so far. Amatya deduces that Ashoka has reached there, but how! Kichak assures him Ashoka will not get out from there alive. Kaurvaki taunts him. You earlier used to say Ashoka will not be able to reach there. Now that he has reached there, you say, he wont be able to get out alive from there. He is Ashoka. He will do what he has decided. He will certainly kill you all! He told you you will see him before your death! He is going to become a reality. Kichak angrily tells her he will kill Ashoka before her eyes. He orders the soldier to get other soldiers ready. We will leave for that place right away.

Ashoka fights with the soldiers once again. One soldier hurts him in his eye and then stabs him again. Ashoka screams out in pain. Ashoka falls unconscious. Dhananjay is tensed. Mahanayak wanted him alive. He sprinkles water on Ashoka but in vain.

Anand looks at the statue made by Ashoka. He thinks of Ashoka’s encouraging words about staying united to fight against Kichak. Acharya Devrath has faith in Ashoka’s win. Why are the signals otherwise?

Precap: Ashoka has been given a sword but is eyes have been covered by a piece of cloth. He points out that it was the biggest mistake of Dhananjay to give him a sword. He kills all the soldiers who try to attack him. Dhananjay looks on stunned

Episode 269 - 5th February 2016

Ashoka lies unconscious in the ground. Acharya Chanakya and his late Acharya Akramak call out for him. They both encourage Ashoka to get up when he says he cannot do so. Ashoka gets up. Acharya Akramak reminds him of what all he has learnt from him. He gives him a sword and tells him to listen carefully to the source of the voice. Ashoka hits everything that Acharya Akramak directs towards him.

Dhananjay keeps pouring water on an unconscious Ashoka. I wont let you die like this. Ashoka wakes up. He covers his eyes with a piece of cloth. Agnibahu is worried seeing him in action. Dhananjay is still confident of Ashoka’s defeat. Let him fight. It will keep him alive till sunset. He asks a soldier to give a sword to Ashoka. Agnibahu warns him to think once again. Dhananjay taunts him. Kichak and Amatya are on their way towards the tower. Dhananjay throws a soldier at Ashoka who grabs it. Over confidence becomes the biggest mistake sometimes. I will make sure I write your death with it. He kills all the soldiers who try to attack him. Dhananjay looks on stunned. He runs out as soon as he gets a chance. Ashoka holds Agnibahu’s neck but lets go of him when Agnibahu tells him about Dhananjay leaving.

Ashoka stops Dhanajay by throwing a rope around him. He beats him. This is for forcibly taking tax from innocents to leave them die of hunger; to support Kichak. He is about to kill him but then thinks of Arjun. I wont punish you for your sins! He picks up Dhananjay and leaves with him on a horse.

Agnibahu looks out of the window. Kichak will not spare me if he finds out I brought Ashoka here with me. He gets an idea and pours liquor in the room. He sets the room on fire. Kichak and Amatya see the smoke coming out from the room. A soldier informs them about Ashoka taking Dhananjay with him. The soldier falls unconscious.

Acharya Devrath hears the sound of hoofs. Ashoka comes there with Dhananjay.

Kichak is sure Ashoka would have taken Dhananjay to the place where his allies were killed. They leave for that place.

Dhananjay begs for mercy as Ashoka closes in on him.

Agnibahu cooks up a story before Kichak. I came to help you as I knew I will meet you here only. He also joins Amatya and Kichak.

Ashoka leaves the decision of Dhananjay’s fate on the people of Takshsila. They suggest killing Dhananjay. He asks the lady (who had blessed him before leaving to find Dhananjay) what should he do. I will do whatever you will say. She says death penalty. Dhananjay keeps begging for mercy when Ashoka kills him.

Kichak is angry to not find Ashoka in that village.

Acharya Devrath tells Ashoka he fulfilled his vow before sunset. Ashoka denies. My vow is still incomplete. He pulls up the Raksha Stambh and places it high. This is the symbol for us and against anyone who mistakes others as weak. It is a symbol of all the braves who proved that they are capable enough to stand against any injustice; towards the parents who sacrificed their kids for their motherland; for the kids who are proud of their Guru’s. He says Jai Janani. Everyone follows suit. He falls unconscious afterwards. Acharya Devrath and a few other people rush to his side. Someone announces Kichak’s arrival. Acharya Devrath takes Ashoks with him to the Vishwavidyalaya. Everyone vacates the place.

Kichak is angry to see Dhananjay’s dead body. Amatya remarks Ashoka could not take out the fear of Kichak from anyone’s heart even after killing Dhananjay. Everyone is missing. Kichak wants to find out how Ashoka got to know about Dhananjay’s location. Except me and Amatya only one person knew about it. He looks at Agnibahu. Agnibahu acts all innocent before him. He suggests Kaurvaki’s name. Kichak points out that he himself killed the pigeon taking her message. Agnibahu says how you would know there was only one pigeon. It was very important for her to give the message to Ashoka. Kichak decides to punish Kaurvaki such that no one will be able to sympathise with her. She will become the Nagar-Vadhu tomorrow (wife of every citizen of Takhshshila)!

Vaid ji tends to Ashokas wound. He was so hurt and lost so much blood yet he is fighting for life. It indicates his strength. Anyone else would have been dead by now. He has lost a lot of blood. It is to be stopped or there will be a disaster!

Episode 270 - 7th February 2016

Vaid ji tends to Ashokas wound. Ashoka mutters about Magadh’s enemy in his semi unconscious state. Acharya Devrath assures him it will come true. Right now you have to take care of yourself. Ashoka mumbles yet again. The promise given to my mother about united India will be incomplete. Vaid ji shares that the wound is too deep. Ashoka might not recover as the blood loss has been too high. Everyone is concerned for him. They fear Kichak coming here. Acharya Devrath advises increasing the security around.

Sushim and his friend are on their way to some place. They notice people enjoying, playing drums. Sushim gets down to find out if there is some occasion today. A man offers Prasad to Sushim. Sushim wants to know what’s happening. The guy shares that God sent an angel to help them. A lot many sinners are being killed. Dhananjay, Kichak’s partner, died yesterday. Veerayan too is dead. Kichak has lost a lot of his allies by losing these two people. Kichak’s almost handicapped now. Soon he will also die by that person. Sushim wonders if this person is from Unan or Paras. The guy denies. He is one of us. On his own he did what was very difficult. He is actually a kid. He encouraged people to fight and not be scared to take a stand against what’s wrong. He is the first one to give a woman a chance to fight against such people as well. He is a saviour and helps innocent people. Sushim and his friend think of Ashoka. Sushim wants to know how that kid looks like. The man compares him to sun. Just like a sun’s brightness spreads around, same is with him. Sushim gets irked. Do you know his name? I will myself go and find out. His friend says sorry to the guy on Sushim’s behalf. The guy says Jai Bholenath, Jai Janani. Sushim stops in his tracks as he hears it. He asks that guy about it. The man says this kid only gave this slogan to everyone. It’s been not more than a month since that kid has come here. His ship sank but he survived. Sushim gets thinking as he relates the facts. It’s been one year since Ashoka’s ship sank. Is this person Ashoka? I myself will have to go to Takshshila to find out the truth.

Vaid ji tells that Ashoka’s body has given up. There is no pulse. I don’t think that he. Acharya Devrath points out that everyone’s hope and trust is on him. It is important for him to live. Vaid ji says it is a miracle that his pulse is there atleast. As per my understanding, he has lost the battle between life and death!

Kaurvaki is being brought in the court. She asks for her mistake from Kichak when he says she will be punished now. Agnibahu says she is acting as if she does not know what she has done; as if she did not give the info about Dhananjay’s location to Ashoka. I feel as if she is making a fun of you. Kaurvaki is glad to know that Ashoka lived up to his word. I don’t fear anything now. You will soon reach your end. Plus I will feel really lucky if I have actually helped him in any way. I am sure he will fulfil his vow to free Takshshila from you! If you still don’t believe it then look around on your own. He has already shaken your pillars of strength. You will keep on watching just like this if you don’t react now. Agnibahu tells her to smile. Very soon you will get to know what will happen to you. Kichak decides to spread fear again in Takshshila by punishing her. He gives the responsibility to Nayak. Make sure you will follow my command. Nayak nods. Kichak announces that Kaurvaki will be made the Nagarvadhu. Agnibahu offers to be with Kaurvaki till the time she reaches brothel. Kichak agrees. I want her to be tied to a stone and made to walk around in Takshshila. If Ashoka comes to save her today then he will have to face me! Kaurvaki looks angrily at him.

Vaid ji says Ashoka’s body is not reacting to anything. His death seems certain. He gives up hope.

People break down. A lady says there must be someone who can take care of him; who has defeated death previously. Vaid ji agrees. There is someone who has done such miracles previously. Screen shifts to Dharma. The lady asks for the name. Ashoka says Ma.

Kichak goes around town on his horse. A chariot with Kaurvaki tied to a big stone is following him. A man in the front announces about what happens to people who revolt against KIchak. People gather around to see. Kichak says my message should reach Ashoka!

Acharya Devrath demands to know who the one who can do such a miracle is. Vaid ji shares an experience when he was returning from Badrinath. I saw a man being bit by snake. His body was completely inflicted by poison. I could see no way to save him when a lady stepped forward. It turns out to be Dharma only. She says Lord Shiva can save those who no one can save. That lady took my permission and started to take care of that man. Dharma feeds some herbs to that man. He should stay awake for the night. He should not fall asleep or else he will die. Dharma sits beside the man’s side for the entire night and chants Shiva Mantra continuously. The man wakes up healthy next day. Vaid ji and everyone are surprised. Flashback ends. The miracle was more about that woman. Her pure gestures made impossible possible. She saved that person. She did not seem to be a simple woman. She was on some journey that day. She may or may not be there as of now. But I am sure her devotion can treat Ashoka. Acharya Devrath agrees to find her out from wherever she is. He tells Ashoka not to give up till he is back. He leaves after telling Anand to look after Ashoka.

Dharma covers the diya as strong wind blows. She looks around tensed. Her Daasi is worried about her hand. Dharma cannot understand why she is feeling scared and restless. I did not feel this way when everyone said Ashoka is dead. Something is not right. Someone is trying to hurt my son and family!

A man comes looking for Acharya Devrath. He tells others what’s happening with Kaurvaki. Vaid ji stops Anand from going out. Acharya left you here to take care of Ashoka. We should not step out from here. Kichak might understand our location and attack! We should be extra careful. They all pray for Ashoka.

Dharma talks to the diya. I know you are in very much right now Ashoka. Please bear it all this time. Daasi announces that it is time for leave for Badrinath. Acharya Devrath is on his way to this place. Dharma leaves in a chariot.

Kichak hits Kaurvaki with a hunter. Call out for Ashoka. Ask him to save you! She smiles. I know you want to make me cry but I wont let you enjoy that ever. This is my promise to Ashoka on our friendship. I will laugh as much as you will hurt me. I wont shed a tear today! He is angered by her challenge. I know how to change your smile into tears. He claps. Soldiers bring Jagannath there. Kaurvaki is shocked to see her father there. Jagannath begins to walk towards her when Kichak hits him on his leg. He falls. Kichak asks everyone to look. You thought of Ashoka as someone you will protect you and free you. I am disrespecting the girl who risked her life for Ashoka today. When he could not come to save Kalinga’s princess then how will he help you all when I will behave in a similar manner to your girls! He will not come. I will certainly do it. The fear and cowardice in your eyes is your truth. You are like the insects that are born to die! What did you think before revolting against me? You can see the result of your foolishness right away. I will make today memorable for you. Kaurvaki, the daughter of former King of Kalinga, will be made the Nagarvadhu today! No one, not even Magadh’s Prince Ashoka, will come to save her today! Kaurvaki looks determined.

Vaid ji hopes Acharya Devrath reaches that lady soon. Ashoka’s condition is such that he might not live to see tomorrow’s sunrise.

Dharma does not want to leave for Badrinath right now. We should head back. Daasi suggests resting here only. We have already crossed half of the route. She notices a temple nearby. We can rest there. Dharma nods. She looks worriedly at the diya.

Acharya Devrath reaches where Dharma was. He asks for her. A man shares that she left for Badrinath. She might be going slow as she is pregnant. You can reach her if you take the short route. Acharya Devrath thanks him. He thinks of Ashoka on his way. I wont let anything happen to you.

Anand says good words to Ashoka. You have to keep that faith alive in yourself by which you have motivated the people of Takshshila. People continue to pray for him.

Amatya is confused. I was sure Ashoka wont be able to stop himself after seeing Kaurvaki’s such insult. Kichak too feels the same. I think he is still not over his anger with Kaurvaki. Amatya denies. as much as I know him, he would have come to protect a woman even though he might be irked or angry with her. Kichak calls out for a soldier and then hits him. He is not my soldier now but a common man. He will go amidst other common people to find out why Ashoka did not come. The soldier nods. Kichak says they wanted to make a joke of me. They thought they will hurt my people but it will only add up to my ruthlessness. I am anxious to see Kaurvaki as Nagarvadhu!

A girl is brought in the brothel. She does not want to be here. The lady in charge (Kashi) agrees. I have spent a lot of money on you to make you fit for this work. She cuts her hairs. The girl is locked in a cupboard next. She throws a scorpion inside. Kaurvaki holds onto Nayak’s hand in fear. Agnibahu pulls her forward. He introduces Kaurvaki to Kashi. Mahanayak has sent her for you. Make her a Nagarvadhu! Nayak looks uncomfortable. Kaurvaki is still hiding behind him. Kashi looks at Kaurvaki. There is something in her indeed. Kaurvaki requests Nayak to save her when a man pulls her. What if it was your daughter in my place? You wouldn’t have let it happen! Save me.

Charu is doing black magic. Sushim comes there which leaves her surprised. He has doused the fire. She shares that she was turning iron into Gold. He says Brahma ji gave a curse, whichever person will try to convert iron into Gold will have to take sanyas very soon. She tells him to come straight to the point. He says he made us a fool once again. He has defeated us yet again. Go in Takshshila and see for yourself. Every kid is saying Jai Janani. Seems like he is going to defeat Kichak very soon. If he returns her after completing his mission then none of us will live!

Dharma talks to the Shivling. I am a mother. I am not sure if he is indeed in trouble or not. I know you have already planned out his life. There will be many obstacles in his way. I don’t pray to you to end all of them. I only wish that you should give him the strength to guide him out of all the obstacles. Acharya Devrath meets Dharma’s Daasi. He asks about a lady named Dharma. She is pregnant and treats people. The Daasi declines knowing any such lady. Acharya Devrath was about to go back when he hears Dharma’s voice. She is chanting Shiva Mantra. He comes in the temple. Dharma calls out for him and offers him Prasad but he stops her. She wonders why someone would refuse to have Prasad in temple. He hopes God listens to his prayers today. what’s the point of this Prasad if that does not happen. I want the proof of his existence today. She says it happens from inside. Have faith in God. He will show you the way. Acharya Devrath says how to do so. He has put the life of a 15 year old in risk. He was helping the innocent people stand against the evil. She asks about the kid. He shares that he is the kid who revolted against Kichak. Today he is on his death bed. Vaid ji has given up hope. He told me about a lady who can help treat people. If I don’t find her then everything will be finished. Dharma points out that he came here looking for her only. Acharya Devrath looks gratefully at the Shivlinga.

Charu asks Sushim if he is sure about it. did you see him? Sushim angrily asks her who will trust her if not her. You think of me to be a fool. I am sure Ashoka is alive. It will be good if you too accept it. She says we will have to do something. What if he is alive and comes back here then? Sushim reasons losing is not a choice for them. We are lucky to find out this truth. We still have time and chance which we will fully utilise. Make father understand that he should announce me as his successor. It should happen before he gets to know that Ashoka is alive.

The soldier joints the people of Takshshila in Vishwavidyalaya. He notices everyone standing around Ashoka and praying. Dharma enters just then.

Precap: Everyone leaves from the room when Dharma comes. Ashoka mumbles Ma in his sleep. Devi Dharma drops the diya in shock as soon as she looks at him. She is in tears. Wake up, son! Vaid is surprised as to how she knows his name. Dharma shares that he is her son. Acharya Devrath and Vaid ji are susprised…

Episode 271 - 8th February 2016

Dharma comes inside where Ashoka is lying. Acharya Devrath asks everyone to leave. Everyone leaves from the room. Vaid says your arrival hints at hope for him. The wound is deep. His body is turning numb. Ashoka mumbles Ma in his sleep. Devi Dharma thinks of Ashoka as she hears Ma from his mouth. Vaid remarks that her sheer touch has spread life in the kid! She takes a diya closer to him to look at his face. She drops the diya in shock as soon as she looks at him. Acharya Devrath supports her as she stumbles. She is in tears. How did it happen? Wake up, son! Ashoka says Ma yet again.

Charu wants Bindu to announce Sushim as his successor. We have to make sure Samrat should not become a hindrance in your way. I don’t mind taking him out of our way so you can sit on the throne. Sushim points out that it isn’t easy. Speaking such a thing is easy but putting it into practise is not! She nods. A wife can fail in this war but not a mother! You will stay here only in hiding till the time Samrat announces you as his successor. No one should find out you are here in Patliputra, and not in Takshshila!

Dharma keeps asking Ashoka to wake up. How did it all happen, son? Vaid is surprised as to how she knows his name. Dharma shares that he is her son. Acharya Devrath and Vaid ji are susprised. Acharya Devrath says Ashoka is not just yours but the son of every lady of Takshshila. I told her Ashoka’s name when I met him. Why should I tell his name to people? People take his name on their own. His name lives in the heart of people as either God or Kaal. Dharma says it will never happen. He is the son of this motherland. I will do anything to save him. I am here now son. I wont let anything happen to you. She wants to stop the poison from spreading. She explains the kind of flower she needs to Vaid ji. He knows where to look for them and leaves from there. The soldier has overheard their entire convo.

Bindu writes a letter to Sushim. He is eager for his return. Charu taunts them on their relation. You have made me realise many a times that I am nothing to you other than giving you a heir. Only Dharma and Ashoka matter to you. I don’t remember when we last ate together or spent time with one another. Sushim observes it all from far. Why is Ma saying all this? She is talking like a typical woman! He touches something which makes noise. Bindu looks in that direction.

Kichak gets to know about Ashoka’s condition. Devrath brought a woman here to cure Ashoka. She does not appear like an ordinary woman. She has asked for a special flower. Vaid has gone to look for it. Kichak wants Ashoka to die. This is the perfect time to end him and to give an answer to all the rebellions. Amatya suggests using the Vaid for their purpose.

Charu diverts Bindu’s attention. I forgot whatever happened with me but Sushim too did not get anything from you. Ask yourself if you have never been partial with him. You never thought of his good points. You tried to calm him when he was hurt after losing his brother. Ashoka is no more but you are still lost in his memories. Sushim is alive. Did you think about his future and what he must be feeling? Bindu replies that Sushim is his first kid. He only made me realise what it is to be a father. He holds a special place in my heart which no one can snatch. She asks him to show it to the world then. Announce him your successor! Bindu gets angry. How can you think on this matter at this moment? Ashoka has just died. She insists upon announcing his successor as there is a fight going on between Takshshila and Patliputra. Sushim is capable enough to handle all the responsibilities. Bindu speaks about the time when he made Sushim a temp King. He has to learn a lot still for the citizens of Magadh. If he proves his skills in Takshshila then I will announce him my successor. Citizens will also respect him after his victory. She reasons that it is he who does not respect Sushim. He is not so weak that he cannot make any decision after becoming a king. He says it is not my weakness to be quiet after hearing all this from you. I respect you otherwise I would have punished you for the same! He walks out. Sushim stands by the door. He takes out his dagger and begins to follow Bindu when Charu holds his hand. She slaps him for the same. When will you learn to control your anger? He is irked with her for not living up to her word. If it does not happen soon then you will see Ashoka sitting on the throne. He leaves from there after covering himself with a shawl.

Vaid ji finds the particular flower that Dharma asked for. I will do my duty towards humanity and motherland by helping that kid. I feel so lucky. He stops in shock upon noticing Kichak’s men there.

Acharya Devrath says sorry to Dharma for not recognizing him. She tells him not to do so. Why did you stop me from telling my identity? He reasons that no one should know of her presence here. He has a doubt that there is someone in the palace who is against the right. He handled everything on his own since then. He did not take help from anyone. This blessing from you (bracelet given by Dharma) is his inspiration. He motivated everyone through it and fill hopes in the people of Takshshila. He is very close to his mission. Meeting you is a signal from God that Ashoka will certainly fulfil his dream. If Kichka finds out about your presence here then he will try to hurt you. Ashoka might do something which can be a problem for others. She wonders how to hide it from Ashoka that she is here. My son was sure of my survival when everyone thought of me to be dead. He is connected with my soul. He does not need eyes to believe my existence. Acharya Devrath insists upon her to do as he says. I wouldn’t have come in between otherwise.

Precap: Agnibahu suggests befriending Ashoka just like Kaurvaki did. Kichak wonders who to send for the same. His sister steps forward. She tries to kill Ashoka in his sleep.

Episode 272 - 9th February 2016

Kichak picks up the Vaid ji. I wont like it if someone will behave with Vaid ji like this. He is our entry pass. Keep him nicely. I have heard that you have a lot of sympathy for Ashoka. What is in him that every citizen, who once could not even think of revolting against me, stands against me now! Tell me. Vaid shares that Ashoka is wounded and has lot of blood. Kichak tells him not to be scared. I know you are protecting my enemy. I can give you death penalty for this. I will not do that though. You were taking something for Ashoka to cure him. I want you to give him poison. Vaid is shocked. Kichak says I have destined your fate. Ashoka will now die by your hands only. Vaid requests him not to make him do something like that. I have always treated people. How can I kill Ashoka then? Amatya does not want to lose this chance by trusting this weak Vaid! Agnibahu suggests befriending Ashoka just like Kaurvaki did. Kichak likes the idea. Who is here on whom they wont doubt? His sister steps forward. I can do this much for your victory.

Kashi gets Kaurvaki ready. Kaurvaki is in tears. Nayak and Agnibahu look at her. Nayak looks down feeling bad. Agnibahu remarks that the man inside him has awaken after seeing the woman inside this girl (Kaurvaki). You did a fab job!

Dharma is tending to Ashoka. She adds more oil in the diya she has lit for him. Vaid ji will come with the flower soon. Acharya Devrath says he should have come by now.

Kichak says this poison holds no colour or fragrance. Ashoka is so weak at the moment that even one drop of this poison will do wonders. He pours it over the flowers. Amatya adds that this poison cannot even rot the flower. How will it kill Ashoka? Kichak claps when a Daasi walks in. He offers the flower to her. The shocked Daasi accepts it worriedly. He asks her to touch the drop of the dew on top of the flower. Taste it and tell me how it is. She does so and dies within seconds. Kichak laughs victoriously. Ashoka was starting to count my end days. He does not have enough time now. No one can save him now! Vaid looks tensed. Kichak pours the poison all over the flowers and signals the Vaid to leave. Vaid obliges.

Dharma talks to Ashoka. Nothing will happen to you. This shall pass soon. You will be in Patliputra then with your family. You will be safe there. You are brave which is why you have so many enemies. They are scared of you as you are walking on the path of dharma, justice and respect for others. She kisses his forehead. Acharya Devrath looks on.

Rajmata Helena dreams of Simaka getting the crown of the new King of Patliputra. Your father will be very proud of you today as you became the successor of Magadh! She is shocked to see Ashoka suddenly. Her dream breaks. Charu offers her water. The thought of his return is already troubling us so much. What will happen when he will actually return? Helena drops the glass. He died when his ship sank. Charu calls him stubborn. He is fulfilling his father’s order in Takshshila. He is becoming stronger there day by day. He will get Takshshila under him then. Everything will be finished then. Dharma already has a doubt on us regarding Chanakya’s death. We will be killed when the truth is out. I have a solution. We should make Samrat announce the successor before Ashoka is back. Siamak is too young for it and Samrat will not agree to it. You only have two options. One, to wait for Ashoka, Two, choose the successor who will be under our control. We don’t have time to lose. We will have to act quickly!

Dharma is waiting eagerly for Vaid ji. Vaid ji comes back just then with Kichak’s sister in disguise. The guy at the door stops the lady but Vaid ji says she is with him. Acharya Devrath allows her inside. Vaid ji gives the flower to Dharma. His hands are shaking as he holds the bowl. Kichak’s sister gives it to Dharma. I am his sister. I keep learning a few things from him. Dharma takes the flower but she stops as soon as she realises something. She asks them what they have mixed on the flower. It contains poison! Vaid ji and Kichak’s sister is shocked. Dharma talks about the poison that can kill anyone in seconds. It is odourless and colourless. Why dint you think of it before? Episode 273 - 10th February 2016

Vaid ji looks at Acharya Devrath. This is the only way to save him. He calls out for Acharya Devrath. I want to tell you something. Kichak’s sister tells him to go home. Many patients are waiting for you. Vaid ji nods. Acharya Devrath asks him about what he wanted to say. Vaid ji leaves after telling him to take care of Ashoka. He mentally apologizes to Ashoka. I could not say the truth owing to Kichak’s fear. Why should I be scared though? Nothing is bigger than saving Ashoka’s life. Someone covers his head with a blanket just then.

Kichak tells his soldiers to keep the Vaid under tight arrest till Ashoka is dead. Amatya remarks this is what destiny does. Your poison gave life to Ashoka. Kichak is sure his sister (Vasantsena) will return with the news of Ashoka’s death.

Dharma asks Vasantsena to see if there is some change in Ashoka’s condition. She imagines Ashoka holding her neck warning her or trying to kill her. She tells Dharma to rest for a while. I will stay with Ashoka. Dharma says which mother can rest when her son. Vasantsena is confused. Your son? Dharma reasons that any mother wouldn’t be able to sleep if her son is on deathbed. Vasantsena nods. I will call you if there is some need. Dharma agrees. She says the Shiva Mantra again as she sits next to Ashoka. Vasantsena looks on uninterested. She falls asleep for a while. Dharma is missing. She is at the riverside doing puja. Vasantsena gets the perfect chance to harm Ashoka.

Dharma prays for a new boon of life for Ashoka. Vasantsena tries to suffocate Ashoka while Dharma is on her way to that place. Only a little time is left. The Maurya Vanshi who came to change the destiny of Takshshila died by a woman’s hands! Everyone will remember it! Dharma is shocked to see Vasantsena standing near Ashoka. What were you doing? Vasantsena lies that she was removing something from around Ashoka so the blood circulation is right. Something has happened to him. Dharma leans closer to Ashoka’s chest. Vasantsena points out that maybe the herbs did not react the right way. His life is in danger. Dharma shouts in shock. Acharya Devrath runs inside.

Kaurvaki thinks of Ashoka. She senses something and gets up with a start. She is sure something is wrong with Ashoka.

Vasantsena consoles Dharma. Dharma mumbles that he did not die yet. She talks to Ashoka. You cannot die now. Justice is still not done! Adharma is still very much there. Stability and peace isn’t back yet. People are waiting. You will have to live for the citizens, motherland and your parents. They have a bigger role in your life. Get up. You cannot lose out to the evil people! Get up Dharmaputra!

Dharma continues to talk to Ashoka. Your promise and duty is incomplete. Your Guru’s killers are still roaming free. Will you not punish them? Your task is still to be done. You cannot lose out to death like this. I gave birth to a brave kid who can face any situation. My son cannot be a loser! Get up! Vasantsena is shocked to realise it is Rani Dharma, Ashoka’s mother. Dharma says I wont allow you to die till you pay the debt of your motherland. You will have to abide by your mother’s order. Get up! You cannot disobey me like this. She cries. You can lose but what should I do! Being your mother, my trust on you is not losing. I am your Janani. Even Yamraj cannot take away your soul without my permission. You are still fighting with death. It is proved you want to live. Get up now. You have instilled a faith in the citizens here, get up for them. No one will otherwise dare to fight against the wrong! Get up!

Ashoka sees his mother in his dream. He moves towards her but a chain binds his legs. She stands at the end of the cave with extended hands. Ashoka stumbles in his steps. The chain tries to pull him but his mother calls out for him, encourages him to try! Ashoka wakes up screaming Ma. Everyone is pleasantly surprised to see him awake. Dharma smiles through her tears. Vasantsena covers her face and so does Dharma. All the citizens gather around Ashoka. Vasantsena leaves from there silently.

Ashoka remarks that your son will fulfil her orders. You gave me a life and a direction. I will do what I have vowed to do. I vow that I will free Takshshila from evil people like Kichak! He hugs Dharma and calls her Ma. You found me. I was so incomplete without you. I was only scared if I will be able to see or meet you again or not. Keep me close to you for a while so I can feel I am alive. I will gain my strength if that is so. Dharma is about to hug him back when Acharya Devrath says she isn’t your mother. I brought you for your treatment. Don’t mistake her for your mother. Ashoka reasons that a kid understands and recognizes his mother’s voice. If you don’t trust me then ask her yourself. He asks Dharma to speak up. Tell him that I am your son and you are Samrat Bindusar’s wife, Rani Dharma. Dharma thinks of Acharya Devrath’s advice. Acharya Devrath yet again calls it an illusion. Ashoka asks Dharma to step up. Prove it that I am wrong. Remove the veil from your face. Acharya Devrath points out that she never removes the veil from her face before anyone except her husband. One mother gave you birth 15 years ago. This mother brought you to life by giving you the boon of life. Touch her feet to seek her blessings. Ashoka does so. Your presence makes me feel as if it is really my mother. Your touch, words and everything speak of my mother. Wherever she is, I promise her, I will fulfil her dream. The situation may or may not be in my favour, I will fulfil her dream.

Precap: Kichak is angry to lose out to Ashoka once again. Vasantsena says I almost killed him. Kichak says how did he not die then. Ashoka encourages his people once again to stand against Kichak!

Episode 274 - 11th February 2016

Kichak is angry to lose out to Ashoka once again. He is a kid. You (Vasantsena) could not do it even when you were with him. Vasantsena says I almost killed him. Kichak says how did he not die then. She shares that his mother brought him back to life. I had a doubt on her initially only but Acharya Devrath tried to hide it. But today, when he was almost about to die, she got emotional and called out to Ashoka. Kichak is irked. Every time when we try to hurt him someone saves him. Amatya says Ashoka’s mother came as Ashoka’s power. How can we defeat him now? We will have to find a way to break him. Kichak asks about Kaurvaki.

Kasha talks to Kaurvaki. I enjoyed readying you. I never helped a princess become a Nagarvadhu. Kaurvaki sits down in her feet. Would you have done the same to me if I was your daughter? Kashi says all my daughters are already here on their job. Stop this drama. There are no relations here. Agnibahu adds that the same will happen with Kaurvaki’s daughters in future. Nayak speaks against it. Kashi says the younger she is, the longer she will serve the society. Tell Maharaj Kaurvaki is ready. She asks Nayak if he ever smiles. Agnibahu jokes on him. Everyone leaves from there except Kaurvaki and Nayak.

Ashoka gets ready with difficulty. Dharma helps him. He misses his mother as she used to help him in past. Acharya Devrath asks Ashoak to come. Ashoka, Acharya and Dharma stand at the balcony. The citizens of Takshshila are gathered downstairs. My Guru Acharya Chanakya had taught me that we should always remember that truth and love always win. There have been many troublemakers but they had to lose. Similarly, Kichak’s downfall is certain. We should fill ourselves with hope and bravery. The war is still not over. The enemy can be strong but can lose. The biggest example is I who has come back to life A Dharmaputra is back to end the enemies of the motherland. Dharma smiles thinking of Acharya Chanakya’s words. You always used to say that Ashoka’s destiny is this. Today I have realised how right you were. Acharya Devrath says the cheer should be so loud that it reaches their enemies’ ears. Ashoka loudly says Jai Janani. People cheer after him. Everyone in the court hears it. Kichak is angry. Dharma thinks Bindu would have been so proud of him today. You won over the hearts of people before the enemy!

Bindu thinks of Ashoka. Rajmata Helena comes there. She advies him to think at times as a father too. The king should win when there is a situation where the king and father’s ideologies clash. If we don’t follow the rituals on time then it loses its meaning. Ram ji did something similar. He gave up on his wife when it came to taking a decision. You will have to forget a few things and move on in life. You hold responsibility towards your kids and citizens too. Bindu agrees. A father should forget about Ashoka. He should announce Sushim as his successor. Helena prays he takes the right decision. You will have to fulfil the expectations of the citizens at any cost.

Ashoka addresses Dharma as Mata. I am hungry. Wind blows. Dharma adjusts her veil. Ashoka misses seeing her face. She leaves to bring something for him. Ashoka is a bit sad.

Siamak asks Rajmata Helena why she is making Sushim the successor. He reasons it is more important for him to become a Samrat. Your enemies should be out of your way first. He is confused. she explains that it will be difficult to remove Ashoka from the throne as citizens love him. Both the brothers will clash with each other for the throne. Once Ashoka is out of our way, we will throw out Sushim too with my father’s help. Bindu will be left with no option but you then!

Acharya says he could not get more for Ashoka. Dharma says Ashoka spent 14 years of his life in jungle. He has grown up eating it all and they are his favourite. He says sorry to her for hiding her identity from Ashoka. I applaud you holding yourself back. She replies that a mother who has a son like Ashoka can never fall weak. She goes to make preps for food. The thread comes off her hand which Ashoka had tied on her hand.

Ashoka wants to find out what Kichak had been up to in all these days. Acharya Devrath asks him about his health. Ashoka says he is better than before. Kichak sat quietly all these days? Acharya suggests him to eat first. It is important for you to recover. Wash your hands then we will talk. He misses seeing the thread.

Arjun’s mother cries thinking of Arjun. He loves laddoos. She is making them only. Dharma goes to her. The lady says my son Arjun loved laddoos. These people killed him. He was such an innocent kid. How can someone kill a kid like him? Dharma is shocked. She comforts her. She wishes Ashoka brings stability and peace soon here. No mother should be separated from her son again.

Ashoka pours water on himself. He thinks of Kaurvaki and what all she had to bear because help him. He breaks the pot of water. You broke my trust just like this. It cannot be mended the same way ever again.

Dharma hopes Ashoka likes the food. She realises that the thread from her hand is missing. She looks around but cannot find it. Episode 275 - 12th February 2016

Ashoka is coming from the opposite direction while Dharma is also headed towards him. Ashoka’s attention is diverted to the statue made by him for a while. Dharma spots the thread and picks it up. Ashoka notices her just when she is tying the thread on her hand. He offers to help her. She covers her face well and holds the thread for him. Ashoka thanks her for her medicine. I still have this much strength in myself because of it. It is no less than a miracle. I am hungry. He absentmindedly ties the thread and leaves from there. Dharma thinks Ashoka has realised that she is not his mother.

Ashoka looks at all the food that is made for him. From where to start? Dharma brings laddoos. Start with this. You love this more than anything else. Arjun’s mother smiles. He says a prayer and eats the laddoo. He realises something. Dharma asks him why he stopped eating. He continues eating the laddoo teary eyed. I know you don’t lie to me but why are you trying to hide the truth. I know only my Ma can make such laddoos. What is prompting you to hide the truth from me? Acharya Devrath asks him why he feels this way. Ashoka talks to Dharma. You know you cannot hide the truth from me for long. Dharma nods. We did try to hide truth from you. I have made laddoos with your mother many times. I have learnt a lot from her about medicines too. When she was hiding in the palace disguised as a Daasi then Acharya Chanakya had made me help her. He wonders why he did not see her then. She replies that Daasi’s often don’t come before others so easily. He apologizes to her for being rude to her. You came from Patliputra. Do you have any idea what my mother is feeling after hearing about the news of my death? She shares that his mother is fully sure her son is alive. You will end all those who are evil and try to hurt the innocent people. You will live by your word and return to Patliputra successful. But you will have to eat to get well first. He nods.

Kashi brings food for Kaurvaki. Kaurvaki refuses to eat it. I will prefer taking poison. Kashi says one dies her by Mahanayak’s wish. He wants you to live. A lot many such girls have come here who stay put. You can stay hungry but you will have to become a Nagarvadhu today! She keeps the plate of food on a table nearby. Don’t disrespect food. It is because of other girls like you.

Dharma tells Ashoka Bindu is upset hearing about his death. He also know he has many responsibilities too. Samrat is taking very good care of Devi Dharma in this condition. Ashoka panics. She says there is nothing to worry. You will become a big brother soon. She feels something in her stomach. Your brother seems very happy after meeting you. He is confused. She corrects herself. Your this brother is also very happy to meet you. I am also pregnant. He makes her sit down. From now onward I will take care of you.

Nayak picks up the plate and sits down beside Kaurvaki. She says you must be feeling good seeing me helpless. Mahanayak’s order is being fulfilled. I don’t know why I felt you will understand it but you too turned out to be one of them. Kaurvaki angrily asks Nayak to leave from there. She hurts him by mistake as she pushes the plate away. He gets hurt. She then tends to his wound. I lied. I know you are not like them. I should control my anger but I cannot understand anything. Even Ashoka did not come to help me. She faints. Nayak stops himself from taking care of her.

Kichak gives something to Nayak to give to Kaurvaki. She will wear this and become Nagarvadhu. Nayak throws it away. Kichak orders the soldiers to arrest Nayak. Bring Kaurvaki here! Nayak had been imagining it. He accepts that thing quietly. Kichak says I arranged for Ashoka’s lover. The most important task is not to reach to his mother. How will it be possible though? He will never let us reach her. Amatya adds that his people wont let them reach Ashoka ever. Our soldiers will be disappointed to know Ashoka is still alive. Nayak has a suggestion. Kichak is surprised. A loyal servant who never spoke before his Swami has a suggestion. It must be important! Nayak says it will be easier for you to reach Ashoka’s mother if I divert his attention to something else. If he finds out that he has a last chance to save Kaurvaki, he will come to fight with me. You will have enough time to catch hold of Rani Dharma. Half of your victory will be set. Kichak does not like it. Ashoka is not a fool to leave his mother behind a safety zone. We will never be able to cross it. We will have to bring Dharma out of her safety zone. Vasantsena takes the responsibility of doing it. She is still not aware of my truth. Nayak thinks he is risking Ashoka and his mother’s lives to save Kaurvaki. I hope Ashoka will once again do a miracle.

Ashoka overhears Acharya Devrath and everyone talking about a woman in problem. Ashoka wants to talk about what to do next. Acharya Devrath tells him to go ahead. I will join you soon. Ashoka goes. Acharya Devrath does not want Ashoka to know about Kaurvaki. He will again risk his life. Anand does not want Kaurvaki to become a Nagarvadhu because of Kichak. Will we do nothing to save her? Dharma advises Acharya Devrarth not to hide it from Ashoka. I don’t know who she is but Ashoka will be hurt to know you hid it from him. If he finds out this very thing from someone else, he might leave you all.

Ashoka gets a message from Nayak. This message talks about making Kaurvaki a Nagarvadhu. He challenges Ashoka to fight with him in order to save Kaurvaki. This is your last chance. He is angry after reading the letter. He confronts Acharya Devrath. Why didnt you tell me this? Acharya Devrath says I was worried about you. Ashoka is angry that he was not aware of this. I would have lived in guilt if I had not saved a girl from being made a Nagarvadhu. Who gave you permission to take decisions on my behalf? Why didnt you all do anything when a girl was being taken away right before your eyes! What’s the use to this statue of faith when there is actually no faith? I made a mistake. I thought that statue was equally important for you. If you can cheat me then I too will take a decision. I will have nothing to do with you all from now on. You all can do rebellion on your own. I am not with you in this anymore. He walks out from there angrily while everyone stands there shocked.

Precap: Kaurvaki is about to made to wear what Kichak has sent for her. Nayak tells Kashi to stop. I gave one last chance to Ashoka to save her from becoming the Nagarvadhu. If he succeeds then let her go. If he fails then do what Kichak has asked you to do!
