The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and flexible full stack developer with both server-side and client-side (HTML5/CSS, Javascript) development experience, as well as a basic familiarity with browser extension deployment.  A big plus if you’re familiar with mobile apps (Android or iOS).  Our ideal candidate will be a team player happy to work closely with UX designers, other developers, and technical experts in a highly collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Development, documentation, and maintenance of KryptoKit’s highly acclaimed web-based applications
• Building tests and testing frameworks that ensure the correctness, security, and functionality of deployed applications
• Closely tracking the performance of servers and web applications, addressing issues and bottlenecks in application design, and recommending architectural and infrastructure improvements where necessary
• Ensuring that reported bugs or potential security issues are triaged and resolved in a timely manner

Your Qualifications:

-Minimum 3 years web development experience

-Bachelor’s degree in Math/CompSci/Eng (or equivalent capability demonstrated in a portfolio)

-Strong communication skills

Your Toolbag:

-Extensive experience with HTML, (S)CSS, and Javascript

-Working knowledge of a server-side language P(HP5|ython)|Ror|Go

-Nginx, MySQL, and *nix systems

-Comfortable using source control systems (Git) and other tools for shared workflow

-Conversant with several of: jQuery,Bootstrap,JSON,BitcoinJS,OpenPGP.js,MongoDB (and happy to acquire the rest)

-Familiar with AGILE and REST

-Familiar with basic cryptographic concepts

-Experience with digital currency is an asset
