Announcer:
You’re tuned into Catechism where either you’re a fool or with God you have the wisdom
I’ll start with some questions but God’s the one blessing the correct answers from the contestants
Biblical questions on God’s invisible presence; one life to get it right or learn a difficult lesson
The winner states that he’s wise, believes the messiah; the rest are consolation prize is eternal fire
Let’s begin: Catechism!
Man’s innocent before the age of accountability all the years before this stage are found guilty free
No dancin’ around the answer like you do the waltz; it’s a simple question: true or false?
Contestant 1:
True! We born innocent, it’s the Lord’s benefit, He’s a loving God who gives warm sentiments
to all his children until a certain age, he’s call’s appealing in this perfect stage
There won’t be any children who blaze in hell; we’re held accountable after the age of 12
Like water on the floor better mop this up, God isn’t unfair; God is love
Announcer:
Wrong! God isn’t unfair, but our sin it outcries the El Shaddai, the soul that sins it shall die
Well off to hell, everyone that fell in sin goes; it don’t matter if you be 12 like bingo
“The wages of sin is death” every sinner will see demise; Psalm 58:3 from the womb we’re speaking lies
The scriptures contend Psalm 51:5 Let’s not pretend: we’re from iniquity, in a conception of sin
See that [ ] scary, if sin wasn’t hereditary it would make the savior very unnecessary
Next question: What if you’ve never heard the gospel, would you still be sent to rot in a cell in God’s hell?
Like for instance the innocent natives, but it’s a trick question ‘cause of sin’s enslavement
Contestant 2:
‘Cause we’re made in God’s image we’re not blemished; this life’s practice like a split squad scrimmage
Our [ ] future is the real life and it’s Mother Nature’s job to reveal Christ
So, natives from every tribe and tongue will rise as one when this life is done and
I for one will surprise you son; sin don’t enslave the block like [ ], son
Announcer:
If I may interject; no disrespect to your intellect, but I’m sorry your answer was incorrect
Like a counterfeit autograph his sign we sort of have; the only thing mother nature reveals is the Lord in wrath
Not only does the scriptures say no one seeks God, but furthermore those in the flesh cannot please God
By nature we are called “children of wrath” and when that day of wrath comes there won’t be someone building a raft
Adam’s sin passed down the line now we’re all foul and blind; in love with darkness like our valentine
We can’t change our heart for Christ, like Jeremiah 13:23 “a leopard can’t change his spots for stripes”
See, part of the story is total inability; show’s his true humility; his God gets the glory
True: We must trust in the cross of Christ now, but is your salvation lost with no righteous lifestyle?
Contestant 3:
Ah, a question with no difficulty: works keep you saved? surely this is faulty
If Christ’s spirit is in you then he will continue the ministry in your heart as he finishes what he started
No righteous lifestyle? I’m hesitant with this; ‘cause it might mean your salvation never existed
When the weather gets morbid, those who act triflin’ think they’re back sliding but never slid forward
If we can lose our salvation that’s truly amazing; the question I would pose then is: who is doing the saving?
Announcer:
Look it’s amazing grace; you’re right, I’m glad, but might I add in the book of Galatians
Before I digress let the readers digest: having begun in the spirit it’s not completed by flesh
Wait for the question before you result with your voice: who was Jesus? multiple choice:
A. A good teacher
B. The Messiah
C. The lamb of God that can save us from the fire
D. He was all of these earthly ministries, but also the divine 2nd person of the trinity
Contestant 1:
He was A!
Announcer:
No
Contestant 2:
No, it’s B!
Announcer:
Wrong
Contestant 3:
C?
Announcer:
I’m sorry, all 3 get the gong
There was a man who turned to Christ, he was like, “Good teacher, how do I gain eternal life?”
Replied, “there’s none good but God” implies if I’m good I’m God and that’s how Christ pulled his card
See the heavens maintain his worth; even a star proclaimed his birth when he came to earth
He was put to death by our sin, which was no good, but resurrected 3 days later to prove his Godhood
You still not get it? He was killed so we could make up like cosmetics and fulfill prophetics
I’m sorry, you had your chance to agree, but can’t you see the correct answer was D
