1. Open your doc- like this one- already done
2. Click share (the blue button)
3. set document to ‘anyone with the link’ or ‘public’ and decide what access rights they should have (view, comment or edit)
4. click ‘file’ > publish to web> start publishing
5. Copy the embed code
6. Open your blog post > click ‘html’ > paste in the code
7. Note that there are no specified dimensions. Darn it. If you view it in this state you’ll see what I mean. What you need to do is add this after the word ‘iframe’
height =600 width =600 (or any dimensions you want- within reason) and publish or update
you then end up with a nice frame within which this document is sitting.
Post script:
why embed when you can link? I think it’s all about the look and feel of a page. Excessive embedding can slow down page loading screens but an embedding document is one click fewer and definitley looks better than one of those long Google links.

if you are going to link then make sure you conceal the link in a word or picture.
