What’s inside your computer?
First, you will research and learn the main components that are inside of a computer and their basic function. Then you will create a project showing your new knowledge. After that, we will have a “lab” where we take apart real computers, touch and feel the parts, and then put them back together.
Instructions
Important! We are not looking for the following: keyboard, mouse, monitor, printer, etc. Do not include these in this project.
- You will create a project of your choosing to explain the inside components of a computer. You may use prezi, padlet.com, thinglink.com, powerpoint or other presentation software of your choosing.
- Your project should include both a brief explanation of each part and a picture. The picture is very important so that you will know what it looks like when we take the computers apart.
- Using Google, research the main components inside of a computer. Some keyword searches that would be good to try are: inside of a computer, main components inside of a computer. It is up to you to come up with a list of parts - 7-10 components are all that is needed.
