Integrated Curriculum (HS) - Fact Sheet
Updated automatically every 5 minutes

1. What is it?

Springs Charter School’s Integrated Curriculum contains high-interest coursework for high school students in 9th - 12th grade.  Each course is constructed with three different subjects centered around a thematic topic. Students choose the course topic that interests them and learn core content while making real world connections.

2. What subjects does it integrate?

3. How is the curriculum accessed?

Students are given a Canvas account and are enrolled in the proper courses by their ES (teacher).

4. How are subjects organized?

A schedule is created in Canvas for each grade level which outlines the classes your students should be working in every week. This schedule is broken into a series of "modules," each 3 weeks in length. During weeks 2-4, students are expected to be working in a specific set of courses. The same goes for weeks 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, and 14-16.

5. What about submitting and grading assignments?

Students upload all of their work to the Integrated Courses within Canvas. Some assignments are automatically graded, while others will require input from the Parent, ES, or a High School Content Specialist. Canvas will keep a running total (grade) in all core content areas. Jupiter Grades is not necessary.

6. What are the final unit totals each semester?

For 9th Grade Integrated, the unit totals are as follows. Check the final column on the right for total units earned in each content area.
