The Hunting Of The Last Dragon

Chapter 1

Fear is something I am well acquainted with.When I was a child I was afraid of nightmares and the dark,of bogeymen and fiends;more lately I’ve been afraid of being a failure or a fool,afraid of enemies,wolves and hell,and of a witch who held,for a time,power over me;but none of these terrors equalled the fear I knew that day I first stood upon the ashen shore of St Alfric’s Cove,hardly able to breathe for the stench of dragon-fire.

I saw someone.

That person was a very old man.He said very softly “Why have you come here?”But I just walked past still hardly being able to breathe.Then I saw a huge rivein right in front of my eye’s ,but that wasn’t the only thing I saw.I saw a huge red dragon that was as big as 429 houses which brought the fear back and all the memories came of what I saw in my dreams when I was a child.But then the dragon looked at me square in the eye and had me as his target.I ran back home with all the doors closed.But then I knew that the dragon was my foe.So I ran to the blacksmith and asked for amour and a sword made with just steel.I asked for amour and a sword made of silver.I went back,but nothing was there,all I saw was charcole and fire everywhere.Until I saw it.Right behind me but the only place I could go was the rivein.So I did it jumped with fear and all the things I saw was all gone.The rivein was deep and dark and I knew death was coming.But befor I took my last breath I fell some how in water.Befor the dragon could come down to me I jumped out of it and ran.Just then I remembered that I had a glow stick and I lit up the whole rivein with light of green.Then I saw hole small enough for me to fit through.

The red dragon was way to big to fit through so I gave him a name.The name was hungry.

I found a way out in the middle of a house where cracks were creating.

Chapter 2

I went back home grabbing a drink of water in the well.

After having 15 big gulps of water I finally went to bed and was fast asleep.Until I heard the sound of screaming and death and I saw a big plank on fire coming right into my face.So I quickly rolled to my side and ran out the door.Then I saw Hungry coming straight for me and I quickly put on my amour and picked up my sword and ran to him.I jumped on my roof and jumped on to him and stabed my sword right into his throught and he let out a screaching yell setting his voice box as loud as it could ever get.Then he lit up with light and it was so bright I couldn’t see a thing and then after that Hungry was gone.The town was like it was at Alfric’s Cove.The children were dead and every person fixed the houses 1 by 1.People tried going to other countries but it was to much now that thing were alot more dameged.So now one dollar was like 200 instead.Some people tried making bouts but thats when they didn’t think.Because if they acheive making a fully function bout they’ll just die by the Loch ness monster.So we had no where to go.I knew Hungry would come back any time soon,and that soon was now.We all went into our bunkers and stayed calm.Some thought they were strong egnough to kill him but thy were wrong.Every day a death would come.Every hour a thought would be made.Every minute a sound would be made.Every secound Hungry would come.If somebody didn’t stop this no one would be safe and I really do mean no one.So I knew something had to be done.

So day after day,night after night I spent all of my time making a gun called an Anonymous gun.It keeps the bullets anonymous before a target knows it’s even there!It took quite a while but it did work out.I went around the whole country hoping my horrered life would die and rather have a more useful life that I would rather not live with fear.So I knew that I was the only one who can stop this nonsince.Finilly I found the rivein again hoping he was in there.But all I saw was ash and fire burning away.I went back to the town to go to the pub.I got a drink of whisky and started going back home and went to bed.I woke upin the morning with out fire about to fall on my head.So I woke up rather happy.But not happy egnogh to know that im still in danger by a high deadly dragon about to kill me.So I went to the  pub again and someone unformilier?”Ha ha ha the names James.I came from england trying to find New Zealand but I got lost...Am I still in england?” he asked .”No you're in schottland .””Oh ok.” so I asked him one simple question...If he could help me find Hungry.”Well,ummm, well I suppose I could?”

So I lead him the way to the rivein.”So you found him in here?””yeah pretty much did,””I  saw it but then I had no choice but to jump.”So I jumped in first and called out to him”It’s ok to jump.”So down he went.”Hey how,how do you get out of here.”He asked me.”You climb through a crack in the middle of the village.So we wondered around the whole thing shouting out “HUNGRY...HUNGRY?”So many times until.It was hungry.He came out of no where spreading fire around the whole rivein setting it all on fire.We ran into the dark waiting for him to leave.Eventually he did.

Chapter 3

We went through the cracks under the village and was so tired of walking through the rivien calling out Hungry so many times.So we went to the pub for a drink and we wondered if Hungry would ever go into the rivien again?Because if they were right the people from the village could live under ground!”But then we would never be able to grow our crops again.””True.”

Well me and james knew something had to be done,and that thing had to be done today.So this time we were more suplied and I asked for another pear of amour.We brang with us was a lanter and the cloths on our backs.

So we went into the rivien and looked around.But no one was there.But we still went in.We then remembered about the lantern and we started looking around the place.This time we went silent.We couldn’t even be as loud as a mouse.So we went around the rivien not to make a sound.So we then lit the lantern up and the whole rivien lit up with yellow.Then the dark part of the rivien that could not be lit up had a little spark.Then it sparked up again?Then day turned to night in a flash just as my lantern ran out of  fire.Then I saw little lights shaped as two nostrils.But then I knew why.He was back...Hungry.So I jumped on the wall running to him as he set the whole rivien on fire.I jumped from wall to him and put my sword into his eye and asked for the Anonymous gun but it missed.I tried grabbing it but no.Hungry was too good and he threw it inside a crack.

I tried getting it out of the crack but it was completely stuck inside the crack.James and I were were so heartbroken to know that our lives would end so fast and early.But then I remembered before my parents passed away they said”Follow your dreams and nothing is impossible ever.”So once I remembered that line I knew it was time.Time to think up any idea that could help me and James to survive something probably no one has ever before.So I came up with an idea that might just work.The plan was to go through a huge crack big and dark enough for me to fit in and Hungry not to see me.When I was at the end of the crack I jumped out to Hungry with my sword and put the sword right into the heart and heard a sertin sound saying “You have defeated me,but I will find you agian and when I do,I will kill you.”
