There are 3 apples for every 2 bananas.  There are 25 pieces of fruit.  How many apples and how many bananas?

Blue: 1\8

Green: 2\4

Pink: 1\4

12x2=24

24+12=36

12 is ⅔ of 36

12 is ⅓ of 36

24 is ⅔ of 36

So what is 12 ⅔ of?

12X8=96+4+100

1\8 of 100 Is 12.5

So 6\8 of 100 Is 71.  

60X5=300

One half of 60 is 30 half of 30 is 15 15X3=45

 300+45=345
