  1. Each group member will sign up for 1 free wikispace account
  1. 1 person per group will sign up for a Wikispaces website. 
  2. Make sure you go into the settings and make Private but add collaborators. Your partners and myself must be added so we can contribute/edit. In addition, choose Basic Website in Settings.
  1. The person’s first name that comes 1st in the alphabet will be the one to create the actual Wiki URL.

Each group will choose 1 specific new Vehicle to research. Partners will utilize the Internet to research following:

  1. Post meaningful, relevant information on the vehicle. Don’t copy and paste.
  2. Each vehicle category must be on a separate page (Minimum of 5 pages to your wiki)
  3. Include navigation (table of contents) to get to other pages
  4. Summarize information you find on the Net and to link to it. Don’t copy and paste.
  5. Don't delete information of another group member unless it was redundant or you paraphrased/edited it to improve it,
  6. Each partner will present their wiki -- 5-10 minutes to summarize and demonstrate.
  7. At the conclusion of each presentation, all students must post a comment on the page providing feedback or asking questions. (A feature and to keep you focused on the task at hand.)


2) ‘Restaurant’ Wiki

Congratulations! You just opened up a new restaurant! Since the restaurant business is very competitive you have to design an amazing looking wiki to stand make your place stand out! The wiki should include all specific details about your establishment. This wiki will be designed to make the viewers want to make immediate reservations to go to your place!

What I am looking for: originality, use of entire page, symmetry, correct spelling & grammar, proper presentation.

What you should be doing: persuading the teacher and class to go to your restaurant!
