Wiki Project - Vehicles/Restaurant

Each group member will sign up for 1 free wikispace account

1 person per group will sign up for a Wikispaces website.
Make sure you go into the settings and make Private but add collaborators. Your partners and myself must be added so we can contribute/edit. In addition, choose Basic Website in Settings.

The person’s first name that comes 1st in the alphabet will be the one to create the actual Wiki URL.

1) ‘Buying a Vehicle’ Wiki

Each group will choose 1 specific new Vehicle to research. Partners will utilize the Internet to research following:

Vehicle Make & Model features including colors available, standard equipment , optional equipment, safety, technology, and other model information
All available pricing information. Base price, various packages, options/add on equipment, different engine sizes, etc.
Your goal is to market the vehicle in a positive manner
Include organized multimedia of your vehicle (various angles, interior/exterior pictures, etc)

Vehicle Guidelines:

Post meaningful, relevant information on the vehicle. Don’t copy and paste.
Each vehicle category must be on a separate page (Minimum of 5 pages to your wiki)
Include navigation (table of contents) to get to other pages
Summarize information you find on the Net and to link to it. Don’t copy and paste.
Don't delete information of another group member unless it was redundant or you paraphrased/edited it to improve it,
Each partner will present their wiki -- 5-10 minutes to summarize and demonstrate.
At the conclusion of each presentation, all students must post a comment on the page providing feedback or asking questions. (A feature and to keep you focused on the task at hand.)

2) ‘Restaurant’ Wiki

Congratulations! You just opened up a new restaurant! Since the restaurant business is very competitive you have to design an amazing looking wiki to stand make your place stand out! The wiki should include all specific details about your establishment. This wiki will be designed to make the viewers want to make immediate reservations to go to your place!

Project must be done as a group
Font, structure, alignment, and color preferences are up to you
Minimum of 15 menu offerings with images and full details (tables?).
Minimum of 5 pages to your wiki.
Each person must take an active roll. I will take off individual points for people not participating or fooling around.
This is not a race to be the first one done, it needs to be well thought out, displayed, & presented.
When complete, each team will navigate and present their wiki as they would during a sales presentation. This will be part of the grade.

What I am looking for: originality, use of entire page, symmetry, correct spelling & grammar, proper presentation.
