Ex 1b Hour of Code- Intro to Web Design- Digital Arts 3rd Quarter
Welcome to the third quarter of Digital arts. This quarter we are focusing on Design- especially Web Design. In the third quarter, we use Code Academy, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks/Photoshop.
The Fourth Quarter will focus on interactive entertainment- in other words, video games and applications using Unity.
We are going to start by going to https://www.codecademy.com/courses/web-beginner-en-3pc6w/0/1
And creating a new account, if you don’t have one. You may use your Carlmont School account if you like, or your own email address, it doesn’t really matter.
HTML is the foundation behind all web pages. It's used to add structure and form to text, images, and more. CSS is the language used to style HTML content. In this first course, you'll learn the fundamentals of both languages so that you can create visually appealing web pages.
Continue through the 21 step tutorial and take a screen shot at the end of each step.
