Dropping Off Students in the Bus Loading Zone

It has come to our attention that parents are dropping off students in the Bus Loading Zone in front of the Primary School in the mornings. THE BUS LOADING ZONE IS DESIGNATED FOR BUSES ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE-THRU OR DROP OFF STUDENTS IN THE BUS LOADING ZONE BETWEEN 7:45 – 8:30AM.  For the safety of our staff and students please slow down and use the drive-thru to drop off students.

Holiday Help

The Holiday Season is rapidly approaching.  It is a time for family, friends and festivities, but can also bring extra financial stressors.  If your family could use winter gear for your primary school children and/or some options to help stretch the dollars in your own holiday budget this year, please contact our School Counselor, Jan Maul-Smith, about resources the school might offer.  Requests for holiday resources need to be in place by November 12th, so feel free to drop in, call, leave confidential message on voicemail, or email at janm@corvallis.k12.mt.us as soon as possible.

Angel Tree

Corvallis Primary School will be hosting an Angel Tree this year.  The tree will be in our foyer across from the main office on November 12th for those who are interested in sponsoring a child.  Thanks in advance for your support.  We hope to have our Angel wish lists filled by December 7th. If you have questions,  please contact Sarah Fryer, our CSD #1 Resource Coordinator at:    sarahfryerrc@gmail.com.

Onset of Winter & Possible School Delay/Closures

We would like to give you a heads up about “late starts” at our school. If the weather or icy road conditions are ever severe enough to warrant it, school officials will call for a late start, meaning school will not begin until 10:25 am. You should receive an “automated” phone call to alert you of the late start. In addition, the information will be broadcast on our local TV stations. If this occurs there will be no morning preschool.

School Store Hours: If your student is in need of any school supplies or goodies, our school store, located in the “Music n’ Motion” room, is open on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, from 8:00-8:30am.

Do You Buy Propane? The AmeriGas School Days Program Gives Back to Schools!

Did you know AmeriGas has a partnership with Corvallis School District? It is super easy, this is all you have to do: Drop off or mail in the portion of your AmeriGas receipt that is designated for the Schools Days Program. Through this program AmeriGas will donate $0.02 to our school for every gallon purchased. These donated funds will be used to help purchase STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) hands on educational tools. AmeriGas receipts may be dropped off at the Corvallis District Office, High School Office, Middle School Office and Primary School Office or mailed to:  PAWS-Corvallis Primary School, P.O. Box 700, Corvallis, MT 59828.
