White Mountains Regional High School is a comprehensive high school nestled in the White Mountains and just minutes away from unlimited access to four season outdoor recreation. WMRHS is currently transitioning from traditional academic instruction to inquiry based learning and personalized education for its 400 students. Students coming from the communities of Carroll, Dalton, Jefferson, Lancaster and Whitefield are challenged in their core subjects and at the same time may explore a variety of career options in our Arthur Paradice Career and Technical Education Center. We are seeking dynamic candidates  who are flexible minded, communicative, enjoy collaboration, like to work with students both inside and outside of the classroom, and are interested in opportunities of shared leadership. We maintain a goal to do more for more students which includes working with students of all abilities and interests. If you desire a small school feel with big school opportunities, WMRHS is the place for you.

The Interim Assistant Principal will assist the Principal  in overall administration of the school; supervise and evaluate teachers; assist in maintaining discipline of student population; help in preparation of school budget; attend community and school functions; perform any other duties necessary.

Family and Community Support Specialist (FCSS) – White Mountain Regional School District



NAMI NH is growing! NAMI NH is seeking a full time Family and Community Support Specialist for a 40 hour per week position. This is a salaried, exempt position.


Job Title: Family and Community Support Specialist (FCSS) 


Job Summary:  The Family and Community Support Specialists (FCSS) will provide 1:1 support and education to families/primary caregivers of children and adolescents with Serious Emotional Disturbances (SED) within the White Mountain Regional School District.  The FCSS will establish support groups and family education programs in communities and will be responsible for identifying and recruiting family member candidates to participate in one of NAMI NH’s leadership training programs providing support to family leaders in a role of their choice.


Job  Responsibilities:

·         Provide one-to-one support to families/primary caregivers of children and/or adolescents with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED).

·         Work to eliminate stigma and end discrimination regarding mental health for all individuals and their families.

·         Demonstrate in his/her work a commitment to the system of care values and guiding principle.

·         Serve on work groups, advisory councils and committees as assigned.

·         Recruit, provide or ensure training/orientation and support to family leaders.

·         Demonstrate effective outreach and promotion of NAMI NH’s support, education, leadership programs, and public policy platform.

·         Attend community events/meetings as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education:

·         Have available, reliable transportation and willing to travel and have a flexible schedule.


Work Schedule:

Generally works Monday through Friday with occasional requirements to attend evening and/or weekend events.  Local travel required.


Funding is provided through a grant from the New Hampshire Department of Education and the White Mountain Regional School District..
