We inform people fleeing to Germany even before they arrive, providing verified answers to their most urgent questions.
We contribute to the work of the hundreds of volunteers at the train/bus stations and shelters in Germany.

=== WHY? HOW IT ALL STARTED ===
Andrzej:
On the 5th of March I was going back to Berlin, by a train that started in Przemyśl (near the PL/UA border). The train was full of refugees, many of whom didn't know how the registration, asylum, overnight stays, etc. work in Germany.
The amount of information sources, links, Telegram groups for refugees is simply confusing.
People in the train were saying they don't know which source to believe, as they contain conflicting information.
Instead of explaining everything at the station, the people fleeing could read a flyer with basic information or a volunteer could help them already on the train.
It’s Service Design 101 - BEFORE the arrival > during > after.
Update October 2022
We started as a Berlin-based team. From October 2022 we are a Germany-wide operating team. Together with a lot of contacts to European volunteers thus we are aible to support the people from Ukraine even better on their way to Germany.

This is what we are doing:

Here we answer the questions of people who plan to come to Germany, or are already on the way in a train or bus.

2. ARRIVAL INFOPACK
Until 10th of July we provided verified and up-to-date information in our Infopacks.
Then we decided to remove them from public because information
on the regulations, procedures and services for people fleeing to Germany are changing very fast.
So we decided to focus exclusively on our Hotline Chat as of now.

3. Print posters and flyers:
Posters and flyers at train and bus stations help people to find information early on their way. Please help us to distribute and hang them up at the stations in your city. We can support you with online printing services (that the posters and flyers are sent to you by post) and assume the printing costs.
