  • Resources currently allocated for the death penalty should be reallocated to reimagine public safety, mental health treatment, education and rehabilitation, meaningful victims’ services, and drug treatment programs.
  • We can do a better job protecting co-victims by stopping needless cycles of violence, like the death penalty system.
  • Communities can be kept safe and hold individuals accountable for their actions without executions because that is what we do the vast majority of the time.
