Name of Legislation: LSC Support for 2015 Age Group Zone Championships at University of Minnesota

Description of Issue: Whereas Team Foxjet has hosted numerous and successful championship competitions at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center; Whereas the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center is considered to be one of the elite facilities in the country and has hosted numerous championship competitions; Whereas Team Foxjet has offered to host the 2015 Central Zone Age Group Championship on August 7-9 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center; Whereas the University of Minnesota has agreed that the Aquatic Center is available on August 7-9, 2015; Whereas Minnesota Swimming Inc. has consulted with its membership which supports the hosting of the Central Zone Age Group Championships on August 7-9, 2015; Whereas Minnesota Swimming Inc. has discussed the feasibility of holding the Central Zone Age Group Championships on August 7-9, 2015 with a number of Central Zone LSCs; ________________________________________________________________________________

Solution/Rationale and Proposal/Legislation Requested: Therefore, it is resolved that Minnesota Swimming Inc. supports Team Foxjet’s bid to host the Central Zone Age Group Championships on August 7-9, 2015 at the University of Minnesota.
