Special Instructions to the Postgraduate Admission Test Examinees

The below instructions should be carefully read and followed by the applicants to fill in the Application Sl. No. and Program Preference Order fields in the OMR Answer Sheet and Written Exam Script during the admission test examination.

  1. You have to use your application serial number to fill in the Application Sl. No. field on both the OMR sheet and the Written Examination script. If you have applied to multiple programs (which means you have multiple application serials), you must enter the highest serial number in this field. For example, if you have three applications, and your serial numbers are 0501500, 0501505, and 0501510, you should enter 0501510. Make sure to include the leading “0” when writing/filling in the serial number. Please refer to the example below for the OMR sheet.

  1. You have to fill in your Program Preference Order on the OMR sheet in a designated section. Fill appropriate circles in the Preference column. Assign '1' to your highest preference, '2' to the next preference, and so on. For example, if you have applied for three programs, M. Sc. Engg./M Engg. in CSE, M. Sc. in AI and ML, and M. Sc. in Computing, and your preferences are in the given order, then you must assign '1' to CSE, '2' to AI and ML, and '3' to Computing. Hence, fill the circles corresponding to ‘1’, ‘2’, and ‘3’ for the three programs, respectively, in the Preference column. Leave the rows for other programs blank. Also, write the serial no. of your application corresponding to each program in the App. Sl. No. column.

Please see the below OMR for the example given above where 0501500, 0501505, and 0501510, are the serial numbers of the three applications.
