- Here are the 5 things you’ll need

- First, we need to repair some breaks in the image in order for the fill bucket to work correctly. The red circles show where there are gaps that need to be closed
- Next we will use the Fill Bucket and the Color replace tools to make our leaves look more realistic

- Open the Words and Language Resources section 11 from the right side of 308 Today (or by clicking here)
- Explore the links in the section and find 3 that you think are interesting or useful to you
- If you like Prezi, you can capture and arrange your images like this example first, and then Skitch everything to your notebook page as I have done
- If you don’t like Prezi, you can Skitch everything directly to your page
- In either case, although you may use the same sites, please use different images than I have (in other words, DO NOT COPY MINE if you want credit for your work!)

- Highlight each link that you choose and add an arrow pointing to your related images
- Add 2 Skitches from each site that you choose

- Page 7: Google I’m Feeling Curious
- Google has an Easter Egg called I’m Feeling Curious
- Find 5 random facts of interest by Googling I’m Feeling Curious and Skitch them to your page. Click on ASK ANOTHER QUESTION to find new facts to Skitch.
- ...then use the explore tool to add a related image next to each of your 5 facts, like this example (open in a new tab for a larger view)

- Page 8: Fun ideas for this long holiday weekend :)
- Search Google for websites with lots of holiday activities listed, and find 3 that you think have the best information. You may use other cities besides Austin, like Bastrop, or if you plan to travel this weekend, wherever you’re headed.

- A Title (your choice) with transparent word art so you can see the background through the letters
