The Glory of the Lord and of God

In the last year, since September 2015, our outfit has grown spiritually aware of the certainty of the taking of the Bride to the Father’s house so very soon as to be in 2016. Articles have been written first on this happening in Sept 2015 at the Feast of Trumpets, following guidelines of men with regards to the calendar days, Jubilees, Feasts of the Lord’s days, Shemittah, and all those, but to find out that these approximations were not to be. The lesson learned was to pay attention only to the word of God and leave men’s inventions to themselves. The tamperings on the calendar alone will make predictive comments inaccurate in themselves. And men have fooled us making believe that that which applies to Israel applies also to the U.S. and nothing can be further from the truth.

We are not against trying to elucidate the date of the rapture, from the pages of Scripture, utilizing the KJV, following the literal-historical-grammatical method of exegesis as the only way to understand Scripture correctly. Needless to say that it is the Holy Spirit that reveals and teaches and to Him be the glory. While much, very much indeed is said in the book as to the timing of the rapture, what is not said is what is the object of our speculative investigative searching. For example, the whole notion of the rapture being imminent does not hold water for reasons stated in other studies, such as the life of Peter. The Lord told Peter he would die martyred and while Peter was alive in the first century the rapture could not come, for the Lord would not leave him behind to die martyred if all others had been taken at a rapture. And there are over 50 verses in the epistles that speak of the Apostles awaiting the rapture in their lifetimes, not imminently but soon, on a day appointed of God for He does all things (Acts 13:26) in such a manner.

And imminence was also to be discarded in the face of the words in Joel 2:30-31 echoed in Acts 2:19-20, that it would not be till God showed the “wonders in the heavens and on earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke”. These wonders, as seen in the 2014-2015 Blood Moons tetrad of eclipses had to come BEFORE the day of the Lord could come! And the rapture is so intimately associated with the day of the Lord, as explained in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-4, that stipulate that the day of the Lord, a type of the ‘times and the seasons’ when God changes kingdoms/kings, for indeed it is Him that does that, not man nor Satan, and even though this day of the Lord is galloping fast, it will not overtake or catch up to the Church before she is taken. . The Bride will leave at the very right moment (1 Peter 4:18), scarcely before the Day of the Lord arrives, for she is not appointed unto wrath (5:9) given that her children are of the light and of the day, and are not of the night nor of darkness (5:5). Other verses make it clear that the Church will be taken on the day of Christ, the day of Jesus Christ, of the Lord Jesus, etc (7 verses), the day that triggers the very day of the Lord.

As you see, much is written but God leaves or has left cryptic messages in his word that are hard to interpret and that no one gets there till the Spirit has established the foundation to then teach more and more intimately and widely the truths of the Bible. And in looking at what the rapture is, a physical redemption (Romans 8:23), called out by the voice of God, a trumpet sound, for the bodies of the dead Saints to live and a translation of the living Saints into new bodies, is of the Holy Spirit that resurrects (Romans 8:10-11), for of a resurrection we speak. The physical resurrection at the rapture will be all inclusive, of all the Saints of the Church Age at once, and all-at-the-same-time event.  In learning this we also learned that the resurrection of the OT Saints, and that of the Martyrs of the Tribulation will also be an all at once event, both these at the closing of the Tribulation, at the end of the days (Dan. 12:13). Though not written it is then established by pattern of God that the Millennial Saints likewise will get their angelic bodies at the closing of that age to enter into the eternal estate equalized to the rest of the creature of mankind.

Therefore knowing the rapture to be a resurrection/translation, a physical matter, at the redemption of the body, for all born again believers of  the age of the Church at once, and no other clues being available in addition, it appeared to us  plausible that, as God brought at  Pentecost  the new ministry of the indwelling Spirit in all spiritually redeemed believers in the inward man (Ephesians 3:16), that Pentecost also would be the day when God would redeem the saints physically. A Spiritual redemption and in the end a physical redemption. That it was to be in 2016 was reasoned from the factual unveiling of the Wonders in the heavens of the Blood Moons, which  was done of God in 2014 and in 2015, teaching us that the day of the Lord can now come at any time for these wonders had passed. These wonders were an obstacle to the day of the Lord, but having passed, now such a day can come. And why would God tell us these things and not bring it to pass in the very next year, 2016?

God has shown in history that He does all things in determined times before appointed (Acts 17:26), for in doing this there can be no question that there is a GOD that knows the times in the future, for it is He who appoints such times. Is Antichrist or false messiah not thinking to change times and laws (Daniel 7:25)?  And as far as God acting on the Feasts of the Lord’s days, known today as the 7 feasts of Israel (excluding Purim and feast of Lights/Hanukkah), the Lord has fulfilled all the Spring Feasts, Pentecost, and only the Fall Feasts await to be fulfilled (Trumpets-Day of Atonement-Tabernacles) during the last days of the Tribulation.  But what is critical to discern is that there is nothing else that the Lord must accomplish in order to fulfill those feasts, for all that was done at his First Coming.

That which awaits at present is the removal of the Bride of Christ so that soon thereafter the 70th Week of Daniel’s Prophecy come to pass, of Daniel 9:24. This verse can be said has been fulfilled spiritually by the Church, for even the Lord God has been anointed King in the hearts of all believers of this age. It awaits the  fulfillment of the Prophecy for Israel as yet, for the verse is addressed as being to the people of Daniel (Israel) and the holy city (Jerusalem). This will come to be in the final days of the Great Tribulation, and according to that which is of the New Covenant, for the Remnant (elect/chosen Jews) will have to come to trust in Jesus Christ the Lord as their Messiah for them to be saved. Think about it: one needs to first be in the spiritual kingdom of God before one is allowed to enter into the kingdom of heaven or millennial kingdom, which is a physical kingdom.

“Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”  Dan. 9:24

The time is 70 weeks of 7 or 490 years from the decree to return to rebuild the wall of the city Jerusalem first, for this is specific for Jews, particularly the Remnant, and it purposes to finish the transgression (Dan 9:11) or their departing from the law. Also to redeem the sins of the people, to bring about reconciliation that always follows redemption, to bestow on them the gift of righteousness (Romans 5:17), and this seals up the vision and prophetic pronouncement. Ultimately the end is the anointing of the Most Holy King, the son of David and Messiah Jesus Christ. Some bible versions say “anoint the most holy ‘place’ or temple, but this can not be for at the end of the Great Tribulation there will not be a Temple until such time that the Millennial kingdom has been inaugurated. Jesus already came as ‘that Prophet’ spoken of by Moses, came to redeem/mediate  as High Priest of our Profession, after the order of Melchisedec (Hebrews 5:1-10), and now awaits to occupy the throne of David in Jerusalem, a physical kingdom that rules the whole earth. For the Church these thing did happen, but for the Remnant, “my people” (Jeremiah 31:7) it awaits the end of the Great Tribulation, the Remnant changing their mind about the Lord Jesus Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit over them. Notice that there is no special plan for Israel and as the Lord said, “....with a stretched out arm, with fury poured out, will I rule over you” (Ezekiel 20:33). The plan set in motion 2000 years ago is firmly entrenched and Jew and Gentile comes to GOD by the only one way, that of the Son of God.

Some Words About the Temple and the Glory of God, the Glory of the Lord.

Upon completion of the Temple of Solomon the Glory of God entered the Holiest of Holy Place, coming via the East gate. The glory was taken as the wall of the city was breached by Nebuchadnezzar in his third wave of invasions in 587 BC and burned down the house of the Lord. Ezekiel saw this while in a vision and being in the spirit, a time/space travel given of God to show the prophet the idolatry being perpetrated in the very Temple, abominations offered to other gods and women weeping for Tammuz. God in his throne being carried by the Cherubs, took his glory back to heaven (ch. 8-11). It is interesting that the Cherubim moved as lightening, not inertia/acceleration nor deceleration limitations present for these are not subject to the law of gravity, being extra-dimensional. The Lord said of Satan, ‘I saw the Satan fall as lightning’, meaning that Satan was thrown out from Heaven as fast as he can travel!

The glory of God is said to return to the Millennial Temple, enter by the same door or East gate which will be sealed subsequently (Ezekiel 40-48), seen by space/time travel again of the prophet but this time to the future. The East gate will be sealed so indicating that the Glory of God will never again leave. Have you ever wondered why there will be sacrifices in the Millennial Temple when world redemption has already been accomplished? And it is not ‘memorial sacrifices’ for there will be no need to memorialize the One ruling the world from his Throne in Jerusalem. The sacrifices are to be done for cleansing, that is ceremonial cleansing to remove defiling impurity, for human beings with the flesh will be born yet in that age and the remains of the carcasses of the Armageddon will be laying around still, sources of impurity in themselves.

The Tribulation Temple will not have the glory of God for it does not return to such and it is used in the practice of Judaism, based on the traditions of the elders or words of men in the Talmud, and not according to the Law and the Prophets or OT Scriptures. Jesus said that if one is not honoring the Son then that one is not honoring the Father either (John 5:23, 15:23; 1 John 2:23). One can not reject Jesus Christ, the Son of God, say in the Talmud that he is boiling in hell in his own seminal fluids or excrements and be in communion with God at the same time. Repent or perish! Be certain that every knee shall bow down and every mouth shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of GOD the Father.

The Temple post-captivity, the first captivity of the Remnant to Babylon, that of Ezra-Nehemiah ended under Zerubbabel, and embellished opulently by Herod the Great, had the glory of God only as Jesus Christ entered the Temple to teach, preach and evangelize, for such glory never returned to these. This third Temple if so we address it as, was burned down to the ground such that not one stone was left upon another, and it happened on the 9th of AV, the day of mourning of Tisha B’AV.  Israel has suffered many afflictions in history on this day, for it is said that it was on a 9th of AV when the 12 spies returned from the Promised Land and gave a negative report (except for Joshua and Caleb). Then the Solomonic Temple was destroyed on the 9th of AV by Nebuchadnezzar’s army, the Herodian Temple likewise burnt on a day of AV, on the 9th. Jews were thrown out of England in 1290 on such a day and out of Spain likewise in 1492. And yet other events have harassed them on such a calendar day. This is NOT coincidental, brethren, the hand of God has made this an important day, nor a feast day of celebration but a day of mourning!

Now, one or more of you may ask, how about today, are we not the Temple of the Holy Spirit, us who believe and have been baptized into his Body, the Church (1 Cor 12:13), by the Holy Spirit? Right on point are those who think that way for the Bride is exactly the Temple of God (1 Cor 3:16) for indeed each have the Holy Spirit dwelling in the inward man (Ephesians 3:16), for he lives in us (1 Cor 6:19), not in our flesh at all (the outward man), for in the flesh lives sin, nothing good!

This brings up yet more teaching of the Spirit for we are told that at the rapture all the Saints of the Church age will resurrect or be translated, into a body of glory, just as our Lord’s body (Phil 3:19-20), now perfectly pure and the very dwelling place of the Holy Spirit, for He will be in our holy  inward and holy outward man, now with eternal life and possessing the righteousness of God, as partakers of his divine nature in these aspects. As glorious beings that we will be in a twinkling of an eye, in a moment (1 Cor 15:52), we will each be the glory of our Lord as he is our glory (2 Thessalonians 1:10, 12), we that are in ‘in him’. This is the issue at hand brethren, the question that remains, and that is, that as God has shown us that he took his glory home before the Temple was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar, in a very spiritual way, is that not the same as the Lord Jesus Christ is taking his glory home, in us, who are his glory and also are his Temple? The Antichrist being loosed as the Bride  scarcely leaves (1  Peter 4:18), will not be able to hurt her, nor his glory, nor his Temple (Col 1:27), that we are. Tisha B’AV can be the day when the Lord may take us home!

                                                     Back to the Rapture Day

Let us see the word of Scripture in 1 Thessalonians 5:1-6:

[1] But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

[2] For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

[3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

[4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

[5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

[6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

The rapture and the loosing of Antichrist .jpeg

As said, back to the rapture day, if it is not to be on a day of Fall Feasts which is for the nation of Israel, and it did not come to be as we hoped  in Pentecost, to which it very likely could have been, what other important day be left in which the rapture could occur in 2016? Let it be no surprise to the brethren reading this that ourselves are eager to go be with Jesus, as many of you are too reading this material. We see the “falling away” of people from the love of the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:3, 10) by being full of the demonic deceivableness of unrighteousness, because of the softening of the restraining of evil by the Holy Spirit, that has gained momentum rapidly in the last 30 to 40 years. The falling away is not a last minute affair, but is has been going on slowly but surely for decades and at least fully in one generation indeed. It has not been the failure of the Church but the progressive increase of evil as allowed of God and for the reason of bringing his purpose of wrapping this thing up in an upcoming week of years. GOD has his appointed time and losing the restraining of evil to bring matters to come to pass in his appointed times is Providential and we are neither to oppose it nor to pray against it, for it is his will. What we ought to be doing is studying the word of God and not bemoaning that  all at present has been a failure of the Church to act, for that would be the wrong conclusion.

Let us exegete the word of God here in 1 Thessalonians. The Apostle Paul writes the Thessalonian Church, under persecution by the heathen whereabouts, that there is no further need that he should write to them about the “times and the seasons” as the Day of the Lord is (must see Daniel 2:21!), when God brings about a change in the kingdoms/kings of the past [all Satanic kingdoms: Egypt, Assyria, Babylonia, Media-Persia, Greece, Rome, now bringing up Revived Rome, the 7th, with two ‘kings’, first Mystery Babylon the Mother of Harlots, then Antichrist’s rule, each 3.5 years]. What is the reason why Paul does not have to write to them again? Because he already had told them, that the change in the kingdoms coming, in the day of the Lord, in its coming, be as a thief that comes in the night. [This is code messaging, for a bridegroom was said in Jewish custom to come to get the bride he already betrothed the year before, at midnight, as a thief in the night, with his wedding party, to take her to his father’s house to consummate the marriage, taking her first to the wedding chamber and after present her to the guests in the wedding feast. That we know this is so is declared by the words of Scripture in Revelation 16:15, when the Lord comes “as a thief” to fight the Battle of Armageddon, or the armies of Antichrist come against Israel ‘as a thief’ in Joel 2:9, to smite Israel in measure (Isaiah 27:8)]. The message is that as a bridegroom comes in the night to take her home, his bride, so will the day of the Lord come, to take the Bride home first (2 Pet 3:10).

It is verse 3 that has most of the thunder, for it is when the world of the heathen are clamoring for “Peace and Safety” then what will befall them is “Sudden Destruction”, and Antichrist’s names, the Assyrian, the king of the bottomless pit (Revelation 9:11) and seed of the Serpent, are Abaddon (DESTRUCTION) and Apollyon DESTROYER). And are we not told in 2 Thessalonians 2, that the church will leave in the day of Christ, in the middle of a falling away (as has been happening for the last generations and gaining speed?). And that the Antichrist, the man of sin, son of perdition, chief promoter of the mystery of iniquity (opposing-denying  the mystery of righteousness of 1 Tim 3:16), now under the restraining or hindering of the Holy Spirit (2 Thess 2:2-12), will be let loose on the world after that the restrainer is taken out of the way (2:7) when the Bride leaves? For after the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way, ‘And then shall that Wicked be revealed’ (2:8).

And how do we know that the Bride leaves before that Wicked is turned loose in the day of the Lord? Because 1 Thess 5 says that such a day is for them, for they, and not us (5:3), for that day shall not overtake (catch up to) us (5:4) the Church  as a thief! A thief comes but to steal, kill and destroy, Jesus said. Furthermore the day of the Lord is for the heathen (all in unbelief, for all these will stay behind after the rapture), we are told in Ezekiel 30:3, for it is the time of the heathen, and the church is the body of believers. The day of the Lord is not just a day, but a “times and the seasons” is a period of time in which God changes kingdoms, and last I heard Satan is going out and the Lord Jesus Christ is coming in! Is the Lord not the stone cut without hand that will smite the image of the satanic kingdoms in the toes and feet and pulverize them all, as written in Daniel? So yes, indeed, the Bride is not appointed unto wrath but to obtain salvation (physical salvation it speaks of), for we are saved from wrath through him (Rom 5:9). And the day of the Lord culminates in a single day of Judgment and revenge of God, a day of recompense and vengeance (Isaiah 35:4, and 34:8). The message here is, do not get confused with the day of the Lord being just a 24 hours period for you really will get confused, as some already are!  The day of the  Lord is  judgment on the heathen and it does not happen in one day, and we have been given the many details in the Revelation to figure out that it is a season of time in which God will putting the final nails in the coffin on the Satanic kingdoms, and on the seed of the Serpent, to usher in his own eternal kingdom.

                                              Conclusions, Final Comments.

We set out to explain that by way of faithful studying the Holy Spirit reveals much in his word, nothing new to most. And that in specific the day of the rapture is not written in clear form, and it is reasonable to speculate what would it be that we would do if we knew exactly when this is going to occur. 2015 and 2016 have been the years we have considered the most likely by the signs present, as the wonders in the heavens and the intensification of the great apostasy. For as Paul wrote people will depart (not enter) Christianity  following after seducing spirits (1 Tim 4:1), bringing in times of raging insanity (perilous days, 2 Tim 3:1), turning away their ears from the truth (JC is the truth) in 2 Tim 4:3, heaping to themselves teachers, having itching ears as they follow after their own lusts (4:2). No, I am not reading a newspaper Christian column of today, but the Bible completed 2000 years ago.

If the readers got the gist of 1 Thess 5:3, we are told that when we hear the heathen clamoring for Peace and Safety, then we will know that the Antichrist is about to appear! Could this be the clue to the exact timing? But since we are gone just before he does show up on the world’s stage, we need to be sober and watching that the heathen are saying about such a war upcoming! It will really be a day when the fulness of the Gentiles be come in (Romans 11:25), the last Gentile to be saved enters in. Could this be on such a day when the Lord takes his glory home (us) and takes his Bride (his Temple) to the Father’s house? May you be so blessed as to cross our paths on the way up to the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, very soon!
