Dear Sir,
Re Radiator Grilles for Mr. Laszlo.
Our price for making 7 radiator grilles, 6 for the studio and one for the dressing room, all to be of onesize, the framework all in bronze with the front and sides filled with iron mesh, to either of the 3 patterns of which we send you samples ………. each ….. £31. We have not included the painting in this price as we think this should be done by the decorator who is doing the walls. If we supply the marble in Swedish green, the price ¾” thick
would be ……………………………………………….each…………….£5-15
or 1” thick …………………………………………….. each ……………£6
These prices being nett are subject to no cash discount, reckoning upon payment as soon as the work is finished.
If your client requires the whole of the construction in iron the price would be ….. each …. £25 Marble extra.
We return the rough sketch 4483C, and await your instructions.
You will require to advise Mr. De Laszlo that his sketch of the mesh is not one which it is practical to make up in wire owing to the large amount of handwork which it would entail, which would make the price very prohibitive.
Yours faithfully,
For & on behalf of
