4 Year Path

The IAA 4 Year Paths meet Core 24 graduation requirements.

Required IAA classes are in bold. Optional state college entrance requirements are in blue.

Notes:

*PE and Health can be taken during the school day, during period 7 or 8, or pending district approval - during the summer between 8th and 9th grade.
The Freshman Focus class is optional for IAA students, however a CTE credit is required for graduation and needs to be taken as an elective before graduation.
9th grade students are required (and other grades are strongly advised) to choose a visual or performing arts class or take classes/lessons with an approved, outside provider.
The “Core Studio 11 and 12” courses accommodate career planning, portfolio preparation, Junior/Senior Arts Projects, Artist Residencies at an elementary school, plus Job Shadow and Internship opportunities.
The College Ready Cohort will earn 2 bonus credits (in addition to the 24 required graduation credits) due to the block schedule in 10th and 11th grades.
