The following are organizations throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia that the District Church has a relationship with. We’ve listed them in the order of our strongest relationship and the most immediate needs. Click on an organization to learn more about their work and how to get involved.

DC | DC127 supports families whose lives have been impacted by the foster care system, including foster, adoptive, and kinship families and biological families at risk of separation.

Casa Chirilagua

Alexandria, VA | Casa Chirilagua develops relationships with families to see the Chirilagua neighborhood transformed by Christ; learning together to love our neighbors as ourselves.

The District School

Northeast DC | The District School provides a vibrant and excellent, Christ-centered education in a racially and socioeconomically diverse community.

Christ House

Adams Morgan | Christ House provides comprehensive and compassionate care for people experiencing homelessness with acute medical needs in the District of Columbia.

Community of Hope

DC | Community of Hope’s mission is to improve health and end family homelessness to make Washington, DC more equitable.

Columbia Heights Education Campus

Southeast DC | Little Lights supports three public housing communities with programs on academic and youth development, economic empowerment, and relational support.

Christian Legal Aid of DC

DMV | CLADC provides free legal services so their clients get access to the justice that would otherwise be denied them because they can’t afford an attorney.

True Ground Housing Partners

DMV | True Ground is a nonprofit affordable housing developer committed to creating an inclusive, caring, and economically diverse community in which each person is important.

Seabury Resources for Aging

DMV | Seabury provides personalized, affordable services and housing options to help older adults in the greater Washington, DC area live with independence and dignity.

Samaritan Inns

Northwest DC | Samaritan Inns provides a safe place to help homeless and at-risk men and women struggling with addiction rebuild their lives along the long road to recovery.

Ayuda

DMV | Ayuda provides legal, social, and language services to help low-income immigrants in our neighborhoods access justice and transform their lives.

Thrive DC

Columbia Heights | Thrive DC provides individuals experiencing housing instability, food insecurity, and economic crisis with comprehensive services to help stabilize their lives.
