Gumtree listing process

How do I get my property uploaded to Gumtree?

  1. On the '5 free feed' you may have any 5 for sale and/or for rent properties on the feed at one time
  2. To list/unlist a property or different 5:
  1. Login to your web-box admin console
  2. Go to the property you want to list/unlist - Action -> Edit -> Tick/untick the Gumtree feed box -> Update
  1. On your properties page under feeds you will now see ‘gt’ next to your Gumtree listed properties. Clicking the ‘gt’ will give you information on the status of your listed property and allow you to see it on Gumtree.
  2. Please note Gumtree only updates its listings every hour
  3. Listing on any of the packages can be done through your web-box website so no duplication or additional work will be required.

How do I Bump Up ads, make them Urgent, Top ads etc?

  1. Sign up with Gumtree and get a ProTool login by filling out this Insertion form and emailing it to protool@gumtree.co.za
  1. You sign up and stay on the 5 free properties listing package and simply pay for extras
  2. You upgrade to a larger package

What does it cost?

  1. Free - 5 properties listed through your web-box website
  2. R569 per month per branch - Post 20 properties through your web-box website (bump ups etc extra)
  3. R1 699 per month per branch - Post unlimited properties through your web-box website (bump ups etc extra)
  4. R2 998 per month per branch - Featured Package with unlimited properties through your webbox website, 24 Hour Auto Bumps (automatically bumped up back to the top of the search listings every 24 hours with no manual intervention required from you), Website URL on all listings
  5. URGENT ads, TOP Ads, Bump Ups and more are available through ProTool at discounted rates - you can contact Gumtree for these fees or view their Rates Card here

How do I upgrade to a bigger package?

  1. Complete this Insertion form and email back to protool@gumtree.co.za

What is Protool?

  1. A Gumtree dashboard to manage bump up ads, lead management and notifications of who’s expressing interest in your listings
  2. web-box do not provide ProTool support as it is a Gumtree product. Please contact Gumtree at protool@gumtree.co.za for ProTool support
