Even within the Weepers order, there exists a group of even more mysterious individuals. These ghostly powered assassins who fuel their deadly arts with the tears of those long lost gift their secrets to only a select few, and any who join have sworn to secrecy on the suborders real designs. Their masks differ from other members of the order in that they are bound from spirits pledged to secrecy and stealth which form a mask with no eyeholes, and thus actually blind the wearer. Those rare few who have seen the masks and live say they appear to be crying. The most feared power of this suborder however, is their mastery of stealing the souls of others.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Slayer of Tears gains proficiency with three martial weapons of their choice.

Blinding Mask(Su): As a member of the Weepers a Slayer of Tears has learned the process of binding souls of the dead into a mask, however instead of the normal benefits they call on the spirits of those devoted to keeping secrets even in death, and of murderers and assassins long past. This unique form of the Ivory Mask shrouds the wearer in blackness since it has no place to see out of, however imparts the ability to hide within this blackness and to ‘see’ with the power of the spirits it holds. While wearing the mask she may take a free action to become blind, but gain Blindsense out to 60ft, and Blindsight within 30ft.

Due to the special nature of their training and souls they bind, levels in Slayer of Tears stack with your Ivory Weeper levels in determining the number of rounds they can use their mask, strength of the Ghostly Chill Weeper class ability, and with levels of Rogue or Ninja to determine Uncanny Dodge and Evasion bonuses.

Ghost Step(Su): Beginning at 2nd level when a Slayer of Tears dons her mask she becomes shrouded in the very darkness that blocks her sight. She gains a bonus to Stealth checks equal to her Slayer of Tears levels, the Hide in Plain Sight ability, and anyone attempting to track her using Survival must beat a Stealth check she makes at the time of the attempt.

Subliminal Spells(Su): Extending the skill in stealth again at 2nd level, all spells a Slayer of Tears casts while masked are affected by the Silent Spell metamagic feat without an increase in level.

At 6th level all spells she casts are affected by the Still Spell metamagic feat without increase in level as well.

Face of the Many(Su): As the Ivory Weeper ability.

Paramnesia(Su): At 3rd level thanks to the spirits she’s bound the Slayer of Tears gains access to new spells, adding the following to her list of known spells (if she didn’t know them already):

1st level: Silent Image, Ventriloquism, Illusion of Calm.

2nd level: Minor Image, Mirror Image, Mad Hallucination.

3rd Level: Illusory Poison.

4th Level: Illusory Wall.

5th Level: Persistent Image.

6th Level: Programmed Image.

Additionally whenever a creature fails it’s save against a Fear or Illusion spell cast by the Slayer of Tears, the first attack she makes against them in a round while masked is always a Sneak Attack as long as they are affected by the spell regardless of if they are flatfoot or not.

Cleanse the Damned(Su): As the Ivory Weeper ability.

Icy Prison(Su): Whenever a 5th level Slayer of Tears slays a creature, she can create a gemstone made of ice from the tears of her dead foe. This Ice doesn’t melt, and upon creation draws the soul of the creature from the beyond into the Icegem. An Icegem holds a soul within it indefinitely unless destroyed which releases the imprisoned soul. A Slayer of Tears can hold a number of souls with a culmative HD equal to her character level + Intelligence modifier, and each soul forms a new gem.

Fuel Magic(Su): Also at 5th level instead of expending a spell slot when casting a spell, a Slayer of Tears may use a soul from an Icegem to power the spell instead. The soul within the gem must have at least twice that spells level in HD, and using it this way adds a somatic and material component to the spell even if it normally didn’t have one. Fueling a spell with the soul destroys the gem and banishes the soul within, and a soul used in this manner can never be returned to life unless by a being with at least 4 more HD than the slayer was at the time of use.

Improved Ghost Step(Su): A 6th level Slayer of Tears becomes hidden from even the most perceptive of creatures. While masked creatures with blindsense, blindsight, tremorsense, or similar abilities do not automatically detect her presence, but must succeed on a Perception check against your Stealth check as normal.

Soulfrost(Su): At 8th level the Slayer of Tears can infuse an Icegem with destructive potential as a standard action, which makes it hurtle toward an enemy. She makes a ranged touch attack against a creature within 60ft, and if successful the gem explodes outward in a 20ft radius dealing 1d8 of cold damage per HD of the soul contained with a Reflex save for half damage and If a creature fails it’s save it’s also affected by a Slow spell. Using an icegem in this manner destroys it and banishes the soul as in Fuel Magic.

Frozen Heart(Su): A 9th level Slayer of Tears has entrenched themselves in cold of the spirit world that it leaves a permanent mark. She becomes immune to cold, and while masked herr Sneak Attacks deal an additional amount of Cold damage equal to herr Intelligence modifier.

Ghost Step Mastery(Su): 10th level is when a Slayer of Tears dons her mask, she becomes as ephemeral as a true spirit. While masked she is Invisible as Greater Invisibility, leaves no trail or trace of her passing, and anyone using spells such as Locate Person or any form of scrying must succeed on a caster level check against a Stealth check to even attempt the spell.

The Dead Fuel the Living(Su): The most powerful and trusted members of the order are gifted with the greatest secret they keep, a key to nearly endless life. By swallowing an Ice gem containing a soul with an amount of HD equal to her own instead of normally destroying it, the Slayer of Tears reduces her age to Young adult and peak physical condition. The soul revives and enforces the body, resetting the base of all physical ability scores to 16 unless they were better, and grants the use of a single extraordinary or supernatural ability the creature the soul belonged to in life possessed. She can do this ritual once a year, and the ability gained from the soul vanishes after this year.
