The United Metaverse Accords

Article 1

The allied DAOs that form the UMA shall at no point restrict membership based upon gender, religion, ethnicity, or anything pertaining to the aforementioned. Individuals who have been denied membership may petition the council if they believe they have been denied membership based upon a violation of human rights.

Article 2

The alliance will extend to the MUD, ONI, and USTUR factions. The leaders of each DAO will form the UMA Council.  This entity will meet periodically to discuss commerce, multi-factional challenges, missions, issues of severe nature, and peace treaties/declarations of war.

Article 3

There will be a zero-tolerance policy for aggressive action taken against any DAO within the UMA. It will be seen as an act of war. An attack against one UMA DAO is an attack against us ALL.

Article 4

Any member within a UMA organization who is found to be acting out of malicious intent and attacks another internal member or allied member and/or their assets, will have their membership terminated from their organic DAO, blacklisted from joining another DAO within the UMA, and, if deemed necessary, will have a lifetime bounty placed on them for being in violation of the Accords. This applies to the account that committed the infraction. Any further action taken by the UMA DAOs will be based upon a majority vote of the UMA Council.

Article 5

All DAO leaders shall treat each other and the ranking officers of each organization with due respect. Members of each UMA DAO should respect the position of each Council member, to also include the Star Atlas staff members. 

Article 6

Officers are appointed based upon experience, ability, and trustworthiness over time. While officers have authority over other DAO members, they are not “superior” to other members and should not be considered as such. The officers are subject to the same rules as other members.

Article 7

The Accords can be amended per majority vote of the UMA Council. This prevents tampering with the rules and regulations of the Accords by its founding members. Once agreed upon and officially signed, this document will be presented to the Star Atlas Metaverse as the first historical Accords.
