Homeless teens need your help!  RV students are now collecting hygiene items such as unused makeup, shampoo, hair brushes, toothbrushes, toothpaste, underwear, socks and deodorant.  These items will benefit Urban Peak, an organization that helps homeless teens in the Denver metro area and will be collected until Winter Break.  Place these items in the boxes in the Main Office and in the lobby by the Security Desk.  Don’t miss this opportunity to support your community and help other teens.

Mr. Thomas has some discounted tickets to see the Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen at the Buell Theater on Tuesday, October 9.  Tickets are only $38.50.  They will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.  If you are interested, bring cash or check to Mr. Thomas.  

There will be a Drama Club Meeting Wednesday, August 29 at 3:15 p.m. in the auditorium.  Come and enjoy some fun theater games, and meet other theater students.  Everyone is welcome.

Boys that are not currently participating in a fall sport, interested in fall basketball workouts, there will be a quick meeting today right after school in M1123.  You will be discussing fall workouts and open gyms.  If you cannot attend the meeting and are interested in boys basketball, please see Coach Braketa or Coach Young in the Math Office or Coach Petitt in Counseling or Coach Guss at the Security Desk.

Freshmen who plan to play boys lacrosse this spring, and are not playing a fall sport and have not met Coach Lewis and Coach Annest, should come to the upper weight room at 3:15 p.m. today.

Student Reminders:

•        Schedule changes today and tomorrow in Counseling during your OFF period.

•        Pictures will be taken today and tomorrow for Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors in the Mezzanine during your English class.  If you do not have an English class, you may go to the Mezzanine during your free period. ALSO, Student Planners will be available for pick-up by the stairs to the Mezzanine.
