  1. To be able to upload your file you will need to convert your Google Doc into a PDF. Go to FILE/Download as and choose PDF. That will put a PDF copy of your novel in your downloads folder.
  1. In the INTERIOR FILE section click BROWSE and then select the PDF of your novel. Note that you need to have a PDF of your novel to upload. To convert a Google Doc to a PDF you click FILE > DOWNLOAD AS > PDF > Then save the PDF on your computer.

  4. After your file has been uploaded (it might take a while) click LAUNCH INTERIOR REVIEWER.

  6. Click IGNORE ISSUES AND SAVE (in red). If you can’t see it at the bottom of the screen then you need to disable the STATUS TOOLBAR. To do this click VIEW then TOOLBARS then click STATUS. Then press F11 and you should be able to see the full screen.
  7. Click IGNORE ISSUES AND CONTINUE.
  8. Select a finish for your book cover (GLOSSY is more common than MATTE but it’s up to you).
  9. Click BUILD YOUR COVER ONLINE.
  10. Click LAUNCH COVER CREATOR.
  11. At this point you should be able to figure out the rest of the steps on your own.
