[1] Possibly a reference to de László’s portrait of Professor George Henry Falkiner Nuttall (1862-1947) for Magdalene College, Cambridge [6552]. Nuttall signed the sitters’ book on 6th May 1932 (Sitters’ Book II, f. 73), just four days before Lord Selborne wrote this letter.
