The Lone Robot
Grey clouds hovered across the sky like a grey blanket and the big rocks, that looked like sabre-toothed tiger’s teeth stuck up towards the sky. As the robot stumbled through the sand he felt scared and tired. He wondered why his family said to run away.
Suddenly he crashed to the ground and turned his head to the side, then he caught a glimpse of something green. He got up and lumbered over to the strange green thing. He knelt down to touch the green thing, then it sprang at him. He knew that this thing needed sunlight. He looked around and started to walk towards a big towering cliff with the green thing.
A few minutes later he was nearly at the top of the cliff but then his hand slipped off the stone and he fell, waving his arms in the air with his back facing to the ground. He managed to grab the side of the cliff.
A minute later he was at the top of the cliff. His body was all scratched and it looked like something that had attacked him. The robot limped over to the centre of the cliff, then he started falling back, releasing the green thing.
Two years later the green thing had grown into a bushy oak tree.
