Notes to The Farce

Chapter 1

1). For whatever reason, my prose seems to vary in quality from section to section.  Sometimes I found my rhythm, and I’m actually readable.  Sometimes the prose is just really clunky, and hard to read.

        For whatever reason, the first couple pages are clunky and hard to read.  

        I know I promised myself that I wasn’t going to get all perfectionist on this story.  I was just going to admit that I was a flawed writer, and try to finish the story anyway.

        But...but because these are the very first pages of the novel, I’m turning away any potential readers I might have right off the bat.  It might be worthwhile to come back someday and try to re-work these first couple pages into something that flows better.
